![]() You'll see me forget to switch characters and post on a elven wizard. Right now, I am not interested in another wizard, mine is running in 2nd Darkness and I'll just say...SR sucks. I plan to run another, interested in a magus, also. But I think we have most spell casting covered. ![]()

![]() I was thinking bomber for ranged and since Disable Device is a class skill, could go that way. Ranger is nice and does have the Dungeoneering/Nature/Engineering class skills. I've played some ranger, although the one who is in a campaign that is very slow. I may just bring my 1.2 ranger, since as a vanilla ranger gives another person who can use the CLW wands and does provide some sort of wilderness type skill. While it would be nice to play alchemist in a group with another player who loves to class to pick the brain of...I am not sure we need another melee person and bombing takes some time to get to precise bombs, so I would end up losing my bombs once everyone is in melee. Of course if someone brings up a huge reason to go something else, I am open. One of my favorite characters is the character I had my GM just assign me class and race..It's fun just coming up with an idea from that. I do want to thank everyone for their pretty epic reactions to Belroar falling, hopefully he was an interesting character. ![]()

![]() So I asked a few of the people I play some other games with to give me some ideas. Since we have a few holes that may or may not make a difference, I thought I might try to fill some of the holes. Their advice was Trapper Ranger and Alchemist. Both seem pretty interesting. I do have a Ranger who is 1.2, so there's that, but he's not a Trapper Ranger, he's just vanilla. I am not opposed to being behind some, but of course being closer to your progression would be nicer. Just thought I would get some feedback on those two ideas. ![]()

![]() Yeah..that didn't help. I just can't really think of anything. I am not a huge fan of the rogue class. Bard..maybe, doesn't help our magical traps issue. Was thinking of creating Belroar's brother...a crazy Barbarian? That doesn't really solve much though... ![]()

![]() So, what kind of character do we need, if Belroar is dead (and not mostly dead). I have a Ranger that has 2 scenarios under his belt, so he would be the same level(ish) as the rest. I know normally PFS is mostly play what you want, but the group seems to be committed to staying together for the most part. I figure might as well make sure we have things covered. I am leaning toward NOT creating another inquisitor, just I dunno, Belroar 2.0. Anyway, got a bunch of ideas running around and looking for ideas to trim down the noise of all of them. ![]()

![]() meh, I was hoping against hope the guy would be dead and I could go all crazy on the halfling. Belroar roars and swings his weapon at the puny human attacking him. Attack, Bless: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 5 + 1 = 18
As he finishes his swing, Belroar growls, "Half man, this half breed is coming for you, just let me get your friend out of the way. Then we battle!" ![]()

![]() Belroar grunts at the tactics of his enemies. He draws his great sword and with his face masked in a scowl he exclaims, "Gorum, we go to battle!"Bless, one minute duration. He then yells, "If its battle you want, battle you shall have, quit hiding in that mist and see how this pet fights!" he almost spits out the word pet. ![]()

![]() Belroar looks at the dust then looks at his companions. "Remind me to break a few skulls when we get out of here. Or maybe I can get that trader guy to help me...send some folks on a trip....", his voice trailing off as a smirk crosses his face. ![]()

![]() Belroar clasps Melufiuos on the back softly, giving his shoulder a slight squeeze. "Ha, now you see the wisdom of Belroar, don't trust nobody. Painful as that may be, you don't look to be hurt too bad, once we test this out, we can get you some healing." Taking the key from Melufiuos' uninjured hand, Belroar tries the lock. ![]()

![]() Belroar looks over the building. "How stealthy do we need to be? I suspect if the city finds out we broke in, they might be upset. Anyone know how to pick a lock or something? Maybe there's a window open on the roof? It looks a bit weak though, probably not the place you want me flailing around." I think you said you didn't need perception checks, right? ![]()

![]() Belroar is oblivious to the man tailing them until his companions start discussing it as they walk. He vows to be more observant. Upon hearing about the next job and his companion's thoughts, Belroar remains silent. We were sent to do a job. If it helps us get it done, why does it matter? Besides, the guy helps pathfinders do their jobs, but perhaps the others see something I don't. ![]()

![]() I've been trying to figure out how to really play Belroar's low Charisma but how he really can be diplomatic and such, and not insult his intelligence and higher wisdom. Maybe being a bit crazy is the way to go. Or maybe it's just not caring about social norms, that would fit his alignment. He's not quite the opposite of Moadis, only being Chaotic Neutral. Also, you just never know how he's going to react, probably that's it in a nutshell. He might just be apathetic in some places, but hopefully his actions at the orphanage might have been a bit of a surprise. ![]()

![]() Belroar studies the creature while Moadis attacks. He also moves directly west to the other side of the room Move directly south of the monster. I am at work on my tablet, so can't move me Knowledge Planes-+3 more to know weakness and abilities: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17 ![]()

![]() I had my wisdom teeth removed ...sheesh 20 years ago? Apparently, I was in mid-sentence when I went under, the surgeon folks said when I came to, I finished my sentence. Since then, I have had 2 root canals and they get easier each time. The stuff they gave me barely affected me, but I iced my jaws pretty well and didn't have a lot of problems. Of course YMMV. ![]()

![]() Belroar chuckles at the explanation about the demon usage. "Don't make me no difference Paracountess, but I've seen firsthand what can happen when demons get off their leash. Of course, when they do, it does provide for a bit of battle, as long as innocents don't get hurt, who am I to judge. But I do like killing demons." He shrugs. ![]()

![]() As the others leave, Belroar remains behind. He continues to stare at her until all the others have left. In a deep growl he says, "These children, they are to be treated well, if they are not, I will hear of it. You have seen me mildly upset. Don't anger me lady or I might let the orc side loose." With that he gives a roar and turns on his heel and leaves. As he exits the house, if any of his companions inquire about the roar, he merely shrugs. These kids look healthy, so there's that, but orphans... ![]()

![]() Belroar growls and walks up to Auntie Blatwin. Standing over her, he says, "I've grown tired of this. You will tell us the truth and the whole of it, or I swear to Gorum, I'll take that package," he gestures to the package in Ophelia's arms, "back to those stick in the mud paladins at the Silver Crusade and tell them you are a drunk and probably a drug addict! I do not care one bit what you do in your personal life. DO. NOT. CARE. But, my companions and I have been tasked with a job. A very important job and I always do the job given to me. So answer our questions with the truth." I am not sure I am going intimidation here, just frustration with what I believe is half-truths and probable lies. But, if you need a roll, I've put one here. ![]() I swear to Gorum people like this make me realize being nice isn't the best policy. Belroar enters the house with the rest, ducking through the door and he remains silent as he continues to study the woman. Sense Motive: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (19) + 8 = 27 ![]()

![]() "Those kids don't look too sick to me, what did they suffer from? As to why the half-orc is asking the questions, well, it's because I am just naturally inquisitive and I love children more than my own life, so I am well suited to make sure we don't have a problem." Diplomacy: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9 If that's more bluff than diplomacy, my bonuses are the same, err maybe I should have said more than her life? Sheesh, bad roll. I really am a nice guy...really! ![]()

![]() "Don't worry about the elf, he's harmless. Well, at least to the children he'll be harmless. The issue here is, we've been sent by Silver Crusade to see if you might be worthy of a donation of medicine. It's a formality mostly, but you know how those stick in the mud paladins are, rules rules rules. So let's just make this visit brief and to the point. Why do you need the medicine? Belroar gives a smile, hoping it doesn't look like a sneer. Bluff: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27 Please just remain quiet Moadis...please don't get all huffy puffy
