So I am thinking of replacing Bear/not bringing him back. My choices are:

1) Front line fighter type.
2) Wizard-Blaster.

Wizard would have a lot of skills to help with knowledge and monster identification with a few buff spells.
Front liner would provide us with more direct damaging power. I could go either way, really looking for the party preference.

We pretty much have all of our bases covered so I feel like I am pretty wide open.

Bears save:
Reflex 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 5 + 2 = 16

The bear falls in the pit with the spellcaster. She better make a concentration check or draw the AOO from the Bear.

Damage 3d6 ⇒ (5, 5, 1) = 11

BTW the cleric would be prone in the pit until her turn. The bear would have stood up on the end of its turn after the charge/bull rush.

If fails the concentration:
claw atk 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (14) + 11 = 25 dam 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7

perception 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (14) + 15 = 29

Willpower Save 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (3) + 11 = 14 Figures...

Bear whispers some ancient words followed by a call to nature by the first rune...within a few seconds a scorpian, about 4 feet long appears next to it. He directs it to sting the statue...

Assumes I can do this in 8 rounds, not sure how far they are apart.

I believe the only Rune left is the Rune of life correct?

I can summon a giant Scorpion to sting it? That is the best I can do...Bears are the best creatures I can bring to fight for me.

Bear casts the spell to test it...

We should prepare ourselves for combat. I can then cast the entangle. Does it need to last more than a minute, is that why my spell may not work Fernus? I am fine trying it anyways...just a scroll.

Assuming that no one speaks up Bear will try to take out the next rune.
He casts enlarge, Shillelagh from a scroll, then Fernus casts Heroism on him. He then casts Guidance and attempts to destroy the rune.

Growing to huge proportions and creating his magic club, Bear strikes out at the Rune.

You got a better shot than me. With those buffs, I'm 1d8+22 so average of 26. If smite worked, it would be no problem (1d8+30), but we didn't get any information to suggest that it would.

Are you forgetting Enlarge? +2 to STR and damage moves to 2d6.

Both of the other runes take damage to disrupt them...I don't have much that can help with this.
What about your club Unalaq. If you go two handed, we make you large and give you bulls STR. Can you focus your attack to do enough damage?

Enlarge person, bulls STR, Power attack, Heroism. Can you do 30 points in one hit? I am pretty sure I can't because I don't have power attack with enough BAB.
My damage with Shillelegh with these spells is 3d8+9+2+4+1. Average is 29...maybe I can try it if you can't.

The large grizzly beside you suddenly shifts back into Bear.

I can summon an ally who can poison the statue if you think that would help but I have no allies who have death powers.

It is pretty specific that Lesser doesn't heal drain :[

The only DR reducing I have is the claws are magical.

Sensing something is amiss, Bear changes into a large Bear and then uses scent to try and sniff out any enemies!

Bear casts Barkskin and Lonstrider. We should look around.

I think we are good but I will wait for Tarin to chime in to see if he lets Bear play this out the way he intended to try and difuse things a little. Bear is always up for killing a Runelord :]

In all honesty though he sees these Runelords as similar creatures that destroyed his village. He may not care for the PF's either but he will take their aid and go kill this thing.

Bear's action before combat would have been to transform into a huge Bear.
He will full attack as soon as it is his turn.

At this range can anyone tell what it is?

Bear also casts Bulls Strength as well as spell immunity (dispel Magic) then looks at the creature to see if he knows what it might be.

Anyone know what "that" is? if it keeps heading this way after a round after that he casts

Bear sees the enemies above and summons the natural forces within him to bring in an ally to keep them busy while they move up.

As the ally comes into being, Kill those three creatures near you.

Totemic Summons (Su): At 5th level, a bear shaman may cast summon nature's ally as a standard action when summoning bears, and summoned bears gain temporary hit points equal to her druid level. She can apply the young template to any bear to reduce the level of the summoning spell required by one. She can also increase the level of summoning required by one in order to apply either the advanced or the giant template, or increase it by two to apply both the advanced and giant templates. This ability replaces a thousand faces.

The bear appears next to the creatures and immediately tries to savage them.
