Hey everyone. I'm really sorry for vanishing off the face of the planet for a little bit.
So finals week turned more into finals week and a half. That always ends up being a huge time loss, and I tend to lose track of time during that period. Which brings us to graduation. I'm an undergraduate, and I would have graduated this year, had I not taken a semester off during the height of Covid. None of my friends, who were also seniors, took that time off. So all of, and I mean literally all of my friends have graduated. And since none of us are initially from Ohio in the first place, they've all left/are leaving very soon. I, on the other hand, am graduating next semester, in the middle of the school year.
After finals, I spent most of my time either dreading everyone leaving, or spending as much time as I could with them. It was very bitter-sweet, and I won't bore with details, but I said I'd throw myself back into the forums when they were gone. That time has come.
I am beyond thankful to have got the chance to meet these incredibly talented, intelligent people. Some of them even helped me carry my belongings the two miles to my new apartment! I found a location to live in, and all in all it's pretty nice. A bit lonely, but nice.

I'm back now, and should have even more free time than before, but I get if that level of flaking out is enough to make you reconsider having me as a player. I'll respect your decision either way!

I certainly wouldn't say no to the Con belt, but it might be better on someone who has lower HP! The baron's survival is most important after all. And at some point, I'm going to try and get my oversized sword enchanted.

Funny! Looks like Regongar would be best suited to be reagent! I would think that the Baron would want that role though? I'm only good at being a general myself, but I'm happy to cede that role to Reg if he wants it more/it makes more sense in RP. Always thought generals should be int based anyway...

Unrelated in terms to the builders guild offer, that is very generous, the only downsides I potentially see are them overcharging us later leaving us still obligated to work with them, as well as the player wanting there to be a clause that the party members would be able to perform construction themselves should the need arise.

I'm kind of a sucker for optimizing Kingdom building planning, and enjoy some of the gritty details, the hex exploration, establishing trade routes, stuff like that, but I totally get wanting the DM to do it. As long as we can chime in every once and a while with ideas on what to build, I'm happy.

I'm so sorry! I missed my cue, but I'm still here

Amiri seems to have already wandered off to find food. You find her sitting with her elbows on the table. Despite the provided silverware, she seems to prefer eating with her fingers. At her side is her signature oversized weapon. Her hair looks like someone might have tried to take a brush to it, but gave up almost immediately. Perhaps Svetlana had made an effort? Barely looking up at Regongar as he approaches she says,
"Your talk with Lady Jamandi was getting stale, much like this bread would have if I hadn't liberated it. If you're going to join me, I'll want you to tell me about the battle you must have had with the Stag Lord. It was quiet at the fort when you left, and I'm afraid that between all this feasting and waiting I'll go soft."

Despite the barbarian's protestations about her physical capabilities, she looks just as dangerous as ever.
