Thank you for collating! Really exciting stuff!

Still nothing about reprinting the 1e APs in collected editions "pocket" style? (Not revisions/updates, just reprinted into paper.)

No, not like those. Those were 3.5 to PF conversions, total rewrites and redos.

I'm talking about just bundling all of, say, Skull & Shackles 6 chapters into one book for a reasonable price. No edits other than the minimal necessary for the form factor (cover -> Page in middle of book, really it).

Like they do to keep the PF1 main books in print. They are the same book and content, just printed in a different form factor.

I was literally just bargain hunting for these. :p Still can't find Wormwood Mutiny for anything less than $100. Sigh...someday.

Seriously though, if Paizo did start doing this, they'd have another subscription out of me in a heartbeat. Probably not, because 1e's kind of done and conversions to 2e are complicated, if Kingmaker's anything to go by. Still, one can dream.

Can't wait for Paizo to get back to the Shackles! In the meantime, I'm so psyched for everything Paizo's putting out right now. I've never been anything but awed by every purchase I've ever made from them, and they just keep getting better.

It might or might not be the right forum to suggest new products, but I agree on the combo bindings of the old adventures. This might be somewhere that Paizo could work with a vendor like DriveThruRPG for a print on demand option (or another POD vendor--I just know DTRPG does that). Even something that's just the six 96-page softcovers printed back to back would be a really great option!

It sounds like you might be interested in a print-on-demand option. For those asking for reprints of collected material, would you be interested if they were just 1:1 reprints rather than changing form factor or contents of what was between two covers?

I would definitely, there are a number of APs I started picking up late and would be more than happy to pay retail price for that 1 volume that is overpriced.

Seconded, I'd be ecstatic to support APs like Skull & Shackles or Shattered Star through options like these, especially since I plan to sweep the 1e AP collection with my personal groups... at least if they don't spend a hundred more sessions in Kaer Maga.

We would 100% carry those at our shop. That would be awesome.

Always glad to see Paizo people involved with our comments.

One humble request would be to please, please take our money and do a deal to market your Adventures (both 1e and 2e if possible) to Foundry VTT.

They are a great VTT but I cant tell how many people would just rather buy modules and APs like they did in FG and Roll20, instead of investing HOURS to upload them.

D&D is bound to do this, just hope Paizo could sooner than later.

It's tricky because FG and Roll20 do it themselves with a license from Paizo, but foundry doesn't have content creators outside of the community, and Paizo cannot sell "volunteer work". So they need to do it. And maintain it.

They have made a test run with 5 bounties right now, and so we can only buy them and wait to see if the results are satisfying enough to be worth the investment.

I know that at least roll20 doesn't really produce the modules themselves either, they hire independent contractors to create them. Given that paizo has oodles of experience working with freelancers, I don't see why they couldn't do that, too. I would definitely be interested in both buying Foundry Modules and offering my services creating them.

Link to the "New Ways to Play on VTTs" blog where we launched content for Foundry Virtual Tabletop. One of the ways you can show us you want more is by buying a Bounty, testing the product and process, and giving us feedback. Clearly, we have been working with Foundry behind the scenes to "do a deal." Foundry is not being ignored, it is just different.

Thank you! Atrapos from Foundry did mention Devs from Paizo were getting experience by doing bounties so, hopefully we get more.

I'll spread word of them to get more people interested and get this going. 1e is having a little less work done but hopefully we can go both directions.

Foundry is way better than Roll20 IMO

Definitely would like to see either reprints of Vol 1 APs that are out of print at paizo and go for 100+ on ebay, or better yet collected prints of the whole AP. I have held off on picking up a few simply because since I can't get Vol 1....what's the point? (Yes I know PDF is a thing, and yes I even play on VTT, but I like to have Things on Shelves. Don't judge me.)

They don't need to be updated/FAQed, and don't have to be Mini versions either. (To be honest, for an AP I'd want the larger format anyway.) And, don't go hardcover, just softback is fine!

Note for us the POD would only likely work if Paizo resurrected their concept for direct to retail, so in practice while we like the idea our shop probably couldn't take part :/

Definitely. Fwiw, I’ve cut back my spending considerably as Paizo move to more electronic products. If things like bounties, fiction, SF one-shots and so on were available in PoD I’d resubscribe to all the lines I’ve dropped.

(This includes things like miniatures and product lines you’re currently providing in print format - I used to buy everything even if I didn’t need the book, but as more and more focus was put on electronic products, my commitment became less. I appreciate the market forces driving that focus, so it’s no criticism. Nonetheless, spending Ha its like mine might be an invisible effect to shifting focus to more ebooks, so I figured I’d mention it. Paizo’s previous aversion based on quality concerns seems unnecessary, provided it’s clearly flagged as such).
