My GM badge also dropped today. But as it's after June 15th, it says I have to wait until Thursday at-con, drop off my purchased badge then, and that I'll get my refund some time after the convention.
So, not only are there no games to sign up for, but I'm out money on the badge until after the con. I'm tempted to drop out of the con entirely after how badly you messed this up, but now I'm worried I wouldn't get my refund at all.

I receive a refund, sort of. I had system credit left over from last year (some generic ticket returns). When I purchased my badge I was required to use the system credit. When event registration opened, I purchased my tickets. So now, when GenCon 'refunded' my badge (full value) they also restored my system credit which I can't use this year because I've already purchased my event tickets.

So is there anyone else still waiting for the badge to drop?

Seems I haven't gotten a badge. Or at least, the "My Packets" section is only listing the one I purchased back in January.

It appears to have happened to my room, and I have notified the Leads via Email, as well as Q-rooms.
This is time-sensitive and I am trying to get message out on all bands I have available to me, so if it feels inappropriate here I do appologize in advance.
This is very much a make/break sort of situation for GM/Volunteering for me -- I was going to shoulder the cost of the room on my own and volunteer my time because I am NOT physically capable of doing a full death-march for a convention like I used to be.
Please advise soonest!

I think it has something to do with only badge Purchasers (not badge recipients) having access to the housing block. I was going to go look and see what was still available totally out of curiousity, but I couldn't because I didn't *purchase* the badge (Paizo did).
Sounds like a phone call to GenCon/the housing people would be the only real solution.

It is alright. Your reservation is still there. Same thing happen to me last year.Don't panic and keep your towel handy.
Not only do I have a towel handy, I also have a bathrobe and a small day-bag of odds and ends.
Thank you very much for being a calming voice of reason.
It's a 'design feature' of the site and with conversation to Q-Rooms reservation is still there, it's just hidden because GM-Badge doesn't give access rights, so it required a bit of a work-around to get to it.

I'm currently looking at ticket sales and talking with the Gen Con leads about opening up some more tables on sold out games, as well as redistributing tiers for Solstice Scar. I will post here when I know the date/time those updates will go live, to assist you in being ready to pounce and purchase tickets.
My apologies for the badge snafu. May/June passed in a convention blur. Making notes to make sure we don't have the same issues next year.

So here's something odd that I figured should be reported.
I had not gotten a hotel confirmation yet and was starting to fret... Then, yesterday, I got an email from Hillis Mallory. He told me that he'd gotten a hotel reservation confirmation email for Hilary Moon... Was that me?
Yes, yes it was. So Hillis kindly forwarded the email to me and I got my confirmation at last. I guess I can see how staff might mix up Hillis Mallory and Hilary Murphy, but I was lucky enough to have a board presence, and so Hillis knew who to contact. Has anyone else had emails go astray like this?

We are still accepting volunteers up to and including Tier 1. Our primary need is general PFS GMs. If you or someone you know is interested, please complete the online app located in the original blog above. Because slot options are becoming more limited, we recommend you provide as open an availability as possible or we may not be able to assign an appropriate schedule.
We have a need for an HQ volunteer to work with our overnight team for three slots.
We also have a need for a Tier 1 GM to run Starfinder with our demo team in the exhibitor hall. Must be available Thursday, Friday, Saturday 10am-6pm, and Sunday 10am-4pm.

The Starfinder Demo Team was left out of the original NDA. The good news is that now Thursty and Tonya are aware of this oversight. I expect that you will all see your Starfinder soon.
