Wouldn't 'Let he who hath understanding' be better? 'Him' suggests a reference to a specific indvidual whereas 'he' is used more generically. tin hat on: Aw, c'mon. I know it's a quote from the Head-Of-Opressive-Murder-Family Jimmy Bible. 'He' still sounds better.

The misspelling is inevitable because there is NO correct way of spelling it. Not to mention, if they used the correct spelling, I suspect that H.P. Lovecraft's estate might throw something even more terrifying than the great Old Ones at Paizo... Lawyers!!!! That's why the first printing of TSR's Deities and Demigods contained the Cthulhu mythos, and the subsequent printings did not!

Several non-Lovecraft deities of the Mythos, however, aren't, and IIRC including them got TSR into hot water with author estates and led to dropping the matter entirely from further printings.

I see a lot of iron maiden fans here lol. this is actually much older than iron maiden though. its from the book of revelation. im surprised paizo used it to promote their product, seems kinds distasteful to me
I know where it's from. I'm older than Iron Maiden. And using Iron Maiden's version of the reading as the gimmmick wasn't distasteful, IMHO. I think it's kinda neat that it shows a relationship between gaming fans and metal fans.

Well the blog post is a wallpaper of the already released book cover. How much more is there to discuss, that can't be discussed in all of the other threads? 
First this and then the "Powerslave" comment on the Paizo Facebook -- love it. Incidentally, my brother just saw them in Austin -- first time in years we haven't gone together. Apparently I missed a hell of a show!

I too went there before I recognized the Iron Maiden reference, I only caught that when I got to the comments.
