Discussion thread for 1-36 Enter the Ashen Asteroid
Go ahead and dot into Gameplay, and talk about out-of-character stuff here, or RP introductions in the game thread.
Qstor, Aphelion Leto, and EbonFist have seats but need to confirm they are still interested. The rest of the seating will be first-come, first-served. The earliest start date would be Monday, May 19th, but it will depend on recruiting.

Hi, I'd like to play!
I have a lot of characters I'd enjoy playing, so I'll see what those with reserved seats are bringing before selecting a character.
hey qstor here
welcome! I'm a soldier 1

Hello!! What drew me to Starfinder was first I played a tiny bit of Kingmaker and loved it, then played pf2e a few times at a convention and loved it. Then, I got the Starfinder 1e rulebook because it kinda reminded me of Phantasy Star Online with how it looks (just kinda though) but it seemed fun! Interestingly enough, Starfinder 2e was announced like a week or two after I bought the core rulebook which I would say sums my luck up lmao

The good news about Starfinder 2e is that it uses the same basic rules as Pathfinder 2e, so you'll need a new book, but you'll already know the system.

yeah I played one of the play test adventures in person and it was pretty easy. ive been hoping another would be run near me to fill out the big playtest chronicle sheet for it. the brain-guy ancestry(cant remember its name off the top of my head) seemed perfect for a psychic character
The ancestry you are thinking of is the contemplative, but this is a Starfinder 1e scenario, so you would only get Starfinder Society 1e credit for playing.

Both the Barathu and Contemplatives are fun species to play. Barathu are more like giant space jellyfish that are very adaptive, Contemplatives are the overdeveloped brain ancestry you can gain to play in PF2e on the SF2e playtest chronicle sheet.
Pathfinder Society (second edition): Participants who check off at least four boxes gain access to the contemplative ancestry (Starfinder Galaxy Guide) for use in Pathfinder Society (second edition).
Through untold generations of selective and psychically guided evolution, contemplatives have transformed from some long-forgotten species with humanlike proportions into immense brains with mere vestiges of their abdomens and limbs dangling underneath like the gondola of some cerebral blimp.
Although Contemplatives are fun to play in SF1e I really like the new ancestry feats they got in the Galaxy Guide, the new feats add a lot of flavor to Contemplatives.

Hi! I'm ready to join the game from Tuesday, if that's okay with you. I need to level up this character to the fourth level, and I won't be able to do this until Tuesday - there's a lot of work IRL now...

I added the slides to the game. Please enter your character info on slide 2 and edit one of the character tokens to add your image, or replace it with one of your own token. If you don't have a drone or companion, just leave that section blank.
Sonicnarukami, can you edit Aphelion Leto's profile so their stats show up in the header below your name when you post. You can look at the profiles of the other Characters to see how to format that.

This is going to sound really weird, but I'm not able to pick a character; my brain just refuses to do so. I have a whole bunch of unplayed level 1 characters who would be fun; anyone else at the table have any input who they would like to have at the table? Any character who shows up in my alias list as level 1 with a race and class is built and ready to play.
