A channel to heal us all and stop the bleed would be useful. But if you want to save them for later or to hurt the undead, that’s fine too.

I believe we are going on to the next part soon and we are just waiting for the announcement so all tables start it together.


There are two combat encounters that occur here, and the players can choose which to pursue and in what order. The first threat consists of Eshimka’s undead army, and the second consists of shadowy portions of Eshimka (or Eshimka herself) that the powerful nightwalker has torn from herself to augment her forces. For most groups, the latter encounter is more difficult. So which would you like to start with?

Being Core Campaign and low level, I vote for first threat.


We have a split vote - one for first threat and one for second threat. Next vote wins and we can move forward.

Switch my vote please to the first threat so we can get it started and smash its ugly face in!


Done! I placed Sobek's icon and moved you all back a little to be outside the 30' limit. You see a large set of armor, like it was made for an ogre, appear on the north side of the rift. When you look into the face, you find there is nothing there.

DC 14 knowledge (religion):
This is a giant phantom armor. This suit of armor moves with a warrior’s deadly skill despite obviously being empty. You know it is an undead creature and may ask one question from this list plus one additional question for every 5 you beat the DC by.

On the other side of the rift you see a hideously malformed, hairless, pustule-covered corpse that moves and snarls more like an undead hound than an undead man.

DC 11 knowledge (religion):
This is a festrog. You know it is an undead creature and may ask one question from this list plus one additional question for every 5 you beat the DC by.

Got all the info I need to generate chronicles, but RPG chronicles is not letting me. Got a post out there to address the issue. When it is working the chronicles will go out. Anyone know how boons are being done? I thing I heard somewhere that the staff will be determining who gets what rather than rolling here. In any case, stay tuned to this thread until this is figured out as you may or may not want to make a roll.

Last convention they mentioned how to do boons in the email sent to GM’s. I didn’t GM this con so no clue this time. It’s almost always a boon roll at the table for pfs1 though.

As for RPG chronicles, if you don’t have a paid account it puts some sort of limit on the chronicles. I think it just doesn’t allow them to be mailed out automatically, but you can still make pdf’s from them and self-send or link to a folder. That may not be your issue though.

Never had problems with them before, saving or emailing. Another GM is also having the issue. I think the issue is that this particular scenario was not previously set up in RPG Chronicles and they had to set it up special for this game. They must have gotten something wrong.


Please roll for boons. A 19 or 20 wins one from what I am told.
