BOTTING PCS for OBSTACLE #3 - No post for over 24+ hours
Poko, Computers: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25
Siliur, Computers: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 8 = 28
Tuirk , Engineering: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16
PCs overcome Obstacle #3, so no one should have taken fire damage.
As for Obstacle #4...
Turik avoids setting off the purge protocol as does Siliur.
Poko and X are surrounded by exploding nanites.
Poko, Reflex: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Both Poko and X take 6 acid damage.
After passing through the morphic gauntlet, the party enters a control room free of nanites. From here, accesses the control console and attempts to shut down the nanites.
He is unsuccessful and the console emits a jolt of electricity.
Damage (E) to X the Hunter: 1d4 ⇒ 1
The other Starfinders make attempts.
Siliur, Computers: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (13) + 8 = 21
When Siliur successfully shuts down the nanites, you all hear a massive whoosh, followed by a whirring sound, as the nanites return on mass to their storage cannisters deep below the technocrèche.
Having faced a harrowing gauntlet of nanites, the Starfinders have time for a short rest.
PCs may take a 10-minute rest if they wish. Please indicate any RP spent in your next post.
Once the Starfinders exit the nanite control room, you emerge onto the factory floor.
Here, the exposed circuitry embedded in the walls of the technocrèche releases chaotic concentric waves of lights, causing the wall to resemble a pond hit by electronic raindrops. The building’s factory floor is sectioned into large vertical bays, most of which are empty except for the occasional component held up by rigging. Magnetic conveyor belts snake through the floor, connecting the bays to the production facilities located in the center. Manipulator arms move erratically along the line, attempting to assemble material that’s no longer on the conveyor belts.
Across the room, a stray mass of nanites hastily adopts the form of scuttling insectile appendages on the base of a massive robotic head, only partially constructed in an assembly bay. With a loud screech, the robot’s cross-slitted face glows red and it lurches to life, pulling free from the assembly bay on its makeshift legs and surging forward.
Map of factory floor now revealed on Slides.

If the check meets or exceeds DC 20, you may open the spoiler below:
The robot may discharge energy when it is affected by it.
Energetic Retaliation (Su) As reaction when a cranial robot is dealt damage by an attack that targeted its EAC, the cranial robot can spend 1 Resolve Point to discharge some of this energy in a pulse around it. Each creature adjacent to the cranial robot must succeed at a DC 12 Reflex save or take 1d4 damage of the same type. This doesn’t reduce or negate the damage dealt to the cranial robot.

He moves and pulls out the Plasma bolter as he does that and shoots the robot after moving
I am not sure if there are walls or something that migth prevent the shoot, if that is so pelase consider a double move
Move - Stride - Standard - Shoot Azimuth rifle
Azimuth rifle (120ft) vs EAC: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 211d8 ⇒ 4

There is a wall (the dark grey line) that the cranial robot is behind, but due to his size and the forcefield (bluish line) being off, Siliur has line of sight and the robot only has partial cover.
Siliur's shot finds its mark, searing the robot.
The wavey-plates with hints of blue are part of a conveyor belt system (Siliur ended his turn on one).
The manipulator arms along the conveyor belt systems are functioning.
Overhead, a series of catwalks rise 20 feet over the factory floor, accessible by a series of ladders.
The yellow-ish, bronze squares are catwalks and the locations of the ladders are marked with the blue triangles on the map.

Not expecitng such fast movement the man seems to be concerend with his safety now, the rifle had done the job well so far, but this is not going to end well if he remains there
Reflex: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10
This time it was not too fast, sadly, with this in mind he tries to remember if this strange creastutr has any weakness
He pulls himself away , and off the conveyor belt Guarde step down Standard - Shoot

Siliur gets struck by a robotic arm.
Damage (B): 1d6 ⇒ 4
Although formed from a mass of independent nanites, Siliur has a sense of the construct's capabilities based on his knowledge.
It has no weakness. However, you may open the spoilers in this prior post.
He makes another precise shot into the attacker.
X delivers a powerful punch.
Then, Tuirk finishes it off with a bullet.
COMBAT OVER
With the nanites deactivated and the world-crasher robot destroyed, the party is free to explore the technocrèche.
The party quickly discovers two important features: the technocrèche database and a mysterious locked door.
Database
Utilizing one of the of the factory’s control consoles, the Starfinders are able to access the technocrèche’s database. The database contains schematics for a variety of the hybrid robots once created here. Among these schematics are plans for truly massive, dangerous hybrid robots, clearly intended to both kill living things and destroy large structures. These robots have a variety of body plans, notably a monstrous spider-like being of light and technology, a kilometer-long segmented robot with a head plate and overlapping plates covering its body, and a winged monstrosity with probes and a hexagonal mouth fitted with a large cannon.
Database
In a basement of the technocrèche there is a massive, locked door with a receptacle that party immediately realizes matches the shape and indentations of
the Eternity Drive, which was last seen within the possession of First Seeker Sarmak. Someone has tried to hack into this lock and clearly failed repeatedly.
Any PC is welcome to try an Engineering or Physical Science check.
If you exceeded thed DC by 5 or more, you may open the spoiler below:
Beyond these two discoveries, the technocrèche is a veritable repository of information. Analyzing the entire database is a very time-consuming task would require advanced tools and powerful computers, like the ones at the base camp. However, the party does have time to update Kinpopo’s software at the technocrèche’s console, learning the words “planet,” “solar,” and “destruction.”
Likewise, Starfinders who use Kinpopo’s software at the locked door are able to translate some of the symbols as “the end,” “ender,” or “final.”
Together with the other words from the technocrèche, you realize that one can better translate the door’s symbols as stating, "world-enders,” “planet-killers,” or something similar.
What would you like to do, Starfinders?

GM Valen |

After securing both the distribution node and the technocrèche, you receive a communication from Sarmak, requesting a report. He hopes that the party is well, but suggests that any who may be injured or tired return to base camp noting that any future discoveries can likely wait another day.
What do you wish to do, Starfinders?

![]() |

X would like to get some rest to get back to full. He could also stand to buy a new weapon or something at base camp, to deal a different energy type.
