What does the hero point work? Sorry if it's a silly question...

Hero Points have 2 uses:
- Either you spend all of them to avoid Dying (I don't think this is useful anymore)
- Or you spend 1 Hero Point to reroll a 1d20. You have to accept the new result, and it must be done before I tell you the result of the first roll.

So if you roll something really good for your first attempt, don't bother rerolling. If you roll terribly on your first attempt, definitely spend it. If you roll in the middle it's your call.

Guess I should have asked... could I try Diplomacy, again?! Or does it need to be another sill/skill check?

Yes, you can repeat skill checks for this challenge. I'll note when you can't (or repeating makes it more difficult.)
