Just as Loki scratches out the the particular mystical runes necessary to deactivate the glowing circle and gets to his feet to investigate the mummified morlamaws, four of the desiccated creatures suddenly lurch into motion to attack!
Loki successfully disarms the rune circle/trap, but doing so automatically triggers four of the mummies (who had intact skulls/brains) to attack. We'll now move to Initiative.

As Loki motors away to a safe distance, Rattus and Kosigan open fire! Refraction sees the ysoki's slug just miss the mark, but his khizar companion manages to catch one of the mummified morlamaws with a spray of acid!
