I am still not seeing how to add the token, so I saw something that said to create a sign in and I am trying that, but it needs new permission from you to join.

Oh yeah, I think I might have made a token for you. Hold on, and let me check!
EDIT: Gave you access and put on the token that I had made for you!
Lucien Lightfoot |
Blissfully unaware of the mortal combat near the Cathedral, Lucien has spent the last few moments gathering lost and dropped items from bystanders who fled the initial goblin attacks in terror. He's filled up his coin purse and is about to help himself to another plate of the White Deer's seasoned venison when the scream breaks his reverie.
"That's a little too close for comfort," he thinks to himself moving to the outer veranda of the inn to get a closer look at the commotion.

There's no narrative, but I can assume from the map the goblins are attacking that man.
Seeing the goblins assaulting a civilian, Lucien acts not so much to save the man as from a sense of self-preservation. He unslings his short bow, advances to hide behind the edge of the doorway, waiting to fire until he sees how the others respond, and what options are open to him.
A little soft for first action, but Lucien won't fight for the sake of fighting, there will have to be something in it for him...
1) Stride - 25' to the space indicated. Thinking that is a doorway or some other obstacle to Hide behind. Maybe not.
2) Interact - to draw and ready shortbow
3) Hide - provided there is something to cover behind. GM rolls secret Stealth check to determine just how hidden he is. (Lucien is +6 Stealth).

Once she spots trouble ahead, Mira doesn't hesitate. She bursts into a full sprint, pumping her legs and charging ahead toward the goblins. "STOP! Leave him alone!" she shouts out as she tries to bring her warhammer down on the mounted creature.

Mangrove shambles forward and hurls a cat skeleton with his mind at Green!
Mira surges forward and crushes the goblin commando once, twice!

Lucien Lightfoot |
"Hey mister!" Lucien calls out walking over toward the well-dressed gentleman. "We just save you and your dog. Maybe there's a reward in it for us, eh?"
Hw winks knowingly at the man, and motions to the others to gather round.
Aeshuura |
The nobleman excitedly replies, Of course! Of course!
He fumbles around in his pouch and produces a handful of silvers, This is all I have now, but meet me tomorrow evening for dinner at the Rusty Dragon and I will reward you all properly! Oh, I nearly forgot! I am Aldern Foxglove! What are your names?
After getting your names, he drops 5 silvers into Lucien's hand and bids you all adieu! The poodle seems reluctant to leave Anthony's side, but Foxglove takes her by the collar, Come now, Fifi! Time to go back to the inn!
Mira Damaris |
Mira was injured and needed to report in, but she wasn't about to abandon her friends and those in need when goblins had attacked at every turn so far. She waited until Anthony could assist her, checking in on the nobleman.
She walks up as he hands the silvers over and invites them to dinner. "Dinner? That's nice, but ..."
And he's gone.
She sighs and takes a seat, looking and listening for more sounds of trouble.
"What is going on? Why are the goblins attacking? Perhaps we should continue on patrol to make sure there are no others in need of assistance?"
Lucien Lightfoot |
Counting out the silvers, Lucien pipes up at Mira's suggestion. "I am in to help others, especially if they have coin in their pockets. A proper reward, eh? That sounds amazing!" He slips the 5 silver coins into his purse which is already more full than he imagined when the day began.
"Where to then, Sarge?"
Mira Damaris |
Mira looks confused at the rogue's words.
She watches him pocket the previous reward and adds "Speaking of coin. If the nobleman paid that to all of us for saving him, shouldn't you distribute those among the participants involved?"
She furrows her brow and crosses her arms on her chest, and says "Wait. And, we're not out here to save people for coin. Our town was under attack, and people's lives were at stake!"
Lucien Lightfoot |
Lucien seems a little taken aback by the request from Mira and Snag to share the reward. He has not worked in a group setting before and doesn't think to split the take until he's already pocketed it.
"Oh, yeah," Lucien says looks more than a little embarrassed. "A share for everyone, no problem." He takes out four of the silvers and gives one to Mangrove, Mira, Snag and Anthony. "I'm Lucien, by the way, and that was nicely done with the goblins, quick work of it. Chop chop." He smiles in a charming way at the others, eager to forget his faux pas.
To Mira, who he sees in guard regalia, he says, "You may be in it to save the town, protect the realm and all that. But I'm not. A chance to earn coin and other rewards is why I stepped in. Sounds like we'll get some too, so worth it. You can save your 'town-saving' for the rest of the Watch. A full purse and a full belly are all I'm after." He pats is rather fully tummy at the last, still filled up from free fare at the town's pubs.
Aeshuura |
Mira nodding in understanding, sees Sheriff Hemlock at the end of the street working with some of the guard to secure the rest of the town and excuses herself. To allow you all to move along with RP, if you like, or we can jump ahead to the next day...
Anthony Slater, Human Warpriest |

Sorry, the last GM announcement (11:08 Wednesday) didn't list any damage on Mangrove.
Aeshuura |
Oop, forgot to make that note!
As things die down, it seems that the immediate threat is over. People are scrambling about putting out various fires that were set by groups of goblins. Sheriff Hemlock debriefs with his guards, praising Mira's initiative, eliciting a hurrah from the guard corps.
Lucien finds it easy to use the commotion around to slip away if he so wishes...
Give me a, "Go!" if you want me to proceed to Part 2...
Lucien Lightfoot |
Lucien does not want to be particularly close to the sheriff, so after confirming the time and place for the meeting with the rich gentleman, he slinks back home to acquire some goods and count his earnings. He does keep an eye about town for any of the others, especially Mangrove, who tends to stick out, and watches them from a far distance as they go throughout the rest of their day.
Go
