Wanderer82 Wow, that's a crazy thought pattern, but I get how it can all spiral. Is there a way to combine two of the concepts into one? Remember, much of the character building and advancement process is rather free form, dependent more on the Aptitudes you have then any of your origin points (home world, background, role). If there is a specific Aptitude that you really want but don't get from your build, let me know how it fits in and we can discuss.

Simeon Hmm, not sure where I came up with 11 then. Well, that means you have 1 to select in place of your second "willpower", and Agility, Defense, or Finesse would all be good choices.

Veegees Keep working on things, I am excited to see what the journey is that took you from highborn noble to clergy to serving an Inquisitor.

SqueezeMeNow In Dark Heresy 1e, you have ranks in your Class which went up with experience. The 2e system is more fluid, with the only main factor being which Aptitudes you have will determine how much experience it will cost to take a given training. I would recommend getting at least a couple Characteristic advances, a several new skills or skill advances, and a handful of talents. Just my 2p.

Storm Dragon There is no "at (insert number) Experience, your Characteristics should be (yy)", so that is kind of up to you. A 30 is a capable individual, and is the baseline at standard Character Creation. 40 is a significant milestone, and someone who has moved greatly beyond the majority of people. 50 is getting close to the limit of a 'mere mortal'. As for spending your experience, you might want to consider investing some into additional Skills or Skill Increases, as well as perhaps a couple Characteristic increases. Also, right now it appears you are 150 xp over target.

This is Wanderer82, posting with my alias. I need to tweak his backstory a bit (the previous iteration was an arbite who got infected but recovered; now he will be a knight-physik who got infected and became a mutant), and update the numbers, but the basic idea is here. I gotta be honest, the purchasing system is killing my OCD. If it were a system I understood I could make decisions on what to pick up, but without knowing the mechanics I'm just going back and forth. If you were still waiting on me I apologize, but bowing out officially.

Indeed. My mom's been going back and forth to the hospital because her sister's been dealing with a bunch of health issues recently (she's been severely disabled from birth, and so my mom and her brothers have helped care for her all her life). My brother and me visited them there the other day. Kinda throws the entire family off-balance, you know?

Sorry to hear that, that's a lot of pressure on everyone. Wishing for good health to her and the rest of the family too.

Thank you all for your concern, my youngest son's bug turned into a double ear infection. It's been fun, but he is finally on the mend.
