As for nighttime travel, Sasha has the Revelation Guiding Star:
Guiding Star (Su): Whenever you can see the open sky at night, you can determine your precise location. When the night sky is visible to you, you may also add your Charisma modifier to your Wisdom modifier on all Wisdom-based checks. In addition, once per night while outdoors, you can cast one spell as if it were modified by the Empower Spell, Extend Spell, Silent Spell, or Still spell feat without increasing the spell's casting time or level.
With that and her Darkvision and Light-Blindness, if she's leading she prefers to travel at night when she's most useful. However, she's not going to be too argumentative, since the rest of the civilized world doesn't tend to work that way.
She won't readily understand anyone who worships Selûne avoiding the night, though...
Regarding quotation marks, I've never thought about it but always done it the way you noticed. The concern about programming isn't one I spent much time considering, but the quoting of my posts is...I'll think on it. Changing habits is sometimes good, but takes some effort.
As for hiding things, Sasha starts everyday taking 10 on Disguise to appear Human, instead of Half-Orc. She's really against racists or xenophobes, but hides her own heritage cause she's been burned so often. Secrets amongst this party abound!
RE: Quotes and formatting - Like I said, it's not really that big of a deal. It is something that I do notice because I am one of those guys who lives in that world, and I have some design schooling/experience. Not a whole lot, but enough to get by if I need to.
As for Kiley avoiding the night, well, that's her secret, and knowing my luck it'll come out sooner rather than later, though there's a few huge clues in her character sheet. :P

Forgot to give the Roll20 link to Sasha, so here it is! Also putting it up in the campaign details for ease of access.
Also, with Kiley's small bonus on skills, I like handing out small things like that for good roleplay. Don't expect massive skill handouts for every skill any time you talk about one, but when appropriate I enjoy small specific bonuses like that.
Will we be told when we need to act in Roll20? Or should we be watching that as regularly as the forums here?
Edit: Also, I haven't talked about my animal companion yet, but he's out there watching and close. What do I need to do for you to manage him, @GM of the Moon?
I’m just using Roll20 for maps and tokens to help picture combat, the main gameplay thread here will have the initiative order. I’ll post whose turn it is and all that in the thread in the blue writing.

I don’t mind letting you handle your animal companion, never been a fan of GM’s being in control of them. If you want it to be following the caravan and join in now, or wait until later, both are fine with me.

Any order of Kiley/Lisyil/Ari, then bear, then any order of Shaggar/Sasha?
I'm assuming the latter to aid speed of play but please correct me if I'm wrong in my thinking.

Wha? Slander, lies, and calumny! I would totally never make fun of an arrow whiff from a GM who recently crit'd my character in the back with two arrows.

Oh I will. Now I'm wondering what's going to happen to my paladin in a Curse of the Crimson Throne game I'm in with Jacob Trier the next time she tries using a bow.
Unfortunately am not at my PC right now, so I can’t add tokens for Lisyil or Sasha, but I’ll get that handled tonight.
I saw another campaign using the Init tracker like I posted at the bottom of my post, to help everyone (including me) keep track of whose turn it is. The bolded characters are up, was the idea. I also usually do a “summary of actions” post at the end of the turn before the other half of the party goes, to update the situation. Does this all work for you guys?

I’ve just noticed combat is one of my weaker areas, and want to get better at running it. Hopefully this helps!
I'm fine with trackers and prefer the sort of initiative setup you have going. Anything to turn PbP combat into something that allows for flexible player posting rates is a good thing.

Combat in PF1e, much less PF1e PBP, is always going to be a bit of a slog, I think. Things like block initiative, letting really good rolls take out lots of mooks, and being willing to bend the rules helps out a lot.
And in case I don't get around to it tomorrow, Merry Christmas everybody. I hope you're all enjoying it with your families. :)

I think I'm paying for all of the good rolls I had in the Crypt of the Everflame game I'm running. Shaggar's player is in that one, and I knocked his character out with a double nat-20 crit by a goblin archer. I then almost killed another character with another crit by a skeletal archer.
That or the monkeys picking numbers really don't like Kiley for some reason. :P

Though it (technically) breaks up the rounds, may I suggest that all the PCs post together, without waiting for an end-of round wrap-up post from our GM?
Because we have essentially two blocks for initiative (the bear and everyone else) there isn't much reason to artificially delay posts from two PCs because they are on the "next" round.
Also, don't forget Pheliks! He's there! (He wasn't mentioned in the DM wrap-up post.)

Are we tracking equipment to the level of crossbow bolts, arrows, rations, etc...? If so, I need to pay attention, but I don't usually find it entertaining to worry to that level of detail. Will do if it's required, though.

I usually handwave over things like arrows or days of rations unless I’m specifically looking for a ‘survival’ arc, where supplies are extremely limited in your environment. While that may happen in this game at some point, you will have ample hints well in advance.
Of course, I won’t stop you from counting and roleplaying collecting arrows should you wish to do so.
A creature with the scent ability can attempt to follow tracks using Survival untrained. The typical DC for a fresh trail is 10. The DC increases or decreases depending on how strong the quarry’s odor is, the number of creatures, and the age of the trail. For each hour that the trail is cold, the DC increases by 2. The ability otherwise follows the rules for the Survival skill in regards to tracking. Creatures tracking by scent ignore the effects of surface conditions and poor visibility.
Seems as if you can have her track the new track with a DC 10 Survival check, Sasha, even untrained.
If you wanna throw a roll up for that, I can tell you what she finds alongside Shaggar.

It's all good - I might have done that in error.
I see that everyone else is posting multiple times a day. I may not be able to keep up with that, but am dedicated to getting a post up daily unless things are really hairy here at home. If I can warn about that and let you bot Sasha I will do so, but with a couple of little kids and working for the US Navy I sometimes don't get much warning. I'll do my best to keep up and not slow anything down, though!
Don’t worry about that at all! I only expect one post a day, no pressure on that front at all.
I think the main reason we’re going so fast so far is it’s mostly smaller description posts from me. You post at your own rate, don’t feel any need to post more than works for you.
And we also just started. I think we'll probably settle down once the "Oh! Shiny!" phase is over.

Also, unrelated but I've just learned how to turn off the snapping to grid and having to precisely edit maps to fit said grid issues I've been having with Roll20 the entire time I've used it. Didn't even know you could turn the grid off, this will save so much time!
I also learned how to use fog of war, it's amazing the things you can learn every day.

So, I mentioned Kiley having read some novels with Drizzt Dourden in them, and there's a question I have for the GM. Are you alright with those being pretty much the Legend of Drizzt books? I ask because between the tiger and the lightblindness, Kiley would be drawing some parallels.
