Katrina easily untangles herself from the vines, as does Compucast, though both of them seem a little weaker. Dr Tavan has a bit more issues, but seem to have the stronger resilience to the draining effect

It's abbility damage. Computers is unfortunately not an allowed check, unless you have the actual profession(vidgamer)...

I see now what Dr Tavan was trying to do..

The bluebell squox tries get out of the tangle by dashing, which just gets him clear of the tangle.

Benoit tries get through, but gets snared by the vines (The drone is part of your inventory, so don't worry about him)

Xin-Dar-Rik easily gets himself out of the vines, while Neroo uses Dr Tavan's example to glitch through the mess. Xiffany's excellent gaming skills get her clear of the thorny bushes as well.

This ends here! the evil voiceover shouts, as the whole area starts glitching heavily, revealing and hiding open pits, and random heavy objects falling from the sky.

I need a Reflex save, vidgamer check or perception check to avoid getting hurt by the objects. Creative solutions work as well

Compucast tries to avoid the falling objects, and though he is at an advantage not having to care about the pits, one of the objects from above manage to knock him out of his trajectory. Compucast also feels the weakening effect of the environment affecting him.

Neroo is having a bad moment, and is knocked to the ground

Neroo falls behind as the group clear the obstacles.

As the tortoiseshell house comes closer, the sandy beach sinks into the roiling ocean, leaving a 15-foot gap of 10-foot-deep water between the shore and the house. Steam rises from the boiling water, indicating that swimming is a poor choice.

Everyone needs to find a way across. Neroo should make another attempt at clearing the last obstacle. I also need another fort save for this round.

Neroo is nearly home-free as the full group makes it to the tortoishell house. The lseeping mats used to access the game menu are still there, but it is also still the case that the 'save and exit' menu has been disabled.

Xin-Da-Rik does not find anything that will allow him to quit, but Katrina and Compucast manage to find an exploit in the menu that give them access to the exit() statement.

Benoit manages to find a little pixels in the interface that, when clicked, allows him to quit the game...

Benoit, Katrina, Compucast:

There is an audible click that signals the release of the headset. Although there is a definite feeling of numbness, everybody who managed to exit has full control of their limbs, and find themselves adjusting to the dim light of the Arcade, and in their usual non-squox form. The limp bodies of Neroo, Tavan and Xin-Darik are dangling from their headset.

You can remove headsets forcefully as a standard action, but it could be a painful, disorienting experience for the player involved.

The group makes it out as a whole, but not before the environment does a real number on Compucast and Tavan. Xiffany is also there, just removing her headset as Katrina starts looking for her. The whole group finds themselves in the environment of the Arcadde, with the same Shirren dancing and soulless Lashuntas staring into their screens.

After removing her headset, Neroo says That was... something. then she quickly gets into the other Lashunta headset to make sure they are not brainwashed or brainless by some weird AI.

After removing his headset, Tavan will examine the team. (and Xiffany - is she here? If not, Tavan will try to find her).

Next, he will administer a formula to Compucast and the rest of the team (including Xiffany if we can find her) to help with the Con damage.

Gene Therapy:

Gene Therapy (Ex): As a standard action, you can create and deliver a medicinal formula to a living creature that suspends the effects of damage to their mind and body. When injected, the formula allows the target to ignore the effects of all ability score damage and drain for for 24 hours. We will still have the Con damage, but we will not have any penalties from it (lower fort save, etc).

Finally, Tavan will check his weapons. Did the shots he fired in the game use up charges and darts in the real world?

And then says in a voice full of terrible determination, I'm going to kill whoever put us in there. I'll do it right now. He looks around for Lecti. There is no doubt that this man is already a dead man.

Compucast takes arest, while Neroo hacks into the fellow player's feeds. The players look to be fully absorbed, and there are no evil voiceovers active at this point. All the feeds are centrally steered, though.

Dr Tavan administers a plasmid that strengthens the muscles, and the effect immediately seems to counteract the draining experience of being in that video game.

Xiffany is here as well, she looks to be relatively okay...
