Please make sure you have RPG Chronicles filled out, and add your information to the Slides, prior to the beginning of Gameday XII on September 4th.
I've been running PFS for a while now, but this is my first time GMing a SFS game and I have a lot less experience GMing Starfinder in general. Please bear with me and/or yell at me about everything I'm doing wrong as you feel is appropriate.
This is a Repeatable adventure with same variations available. Please let me know if you've played it before, and check this spoiler box:

I've played once before, over a year ago (and have read it more recently, to prep for running it myself someday). My notes from back then aren't clear on the variables except for

GM Super Zero |

Yeah, there's actually a fourth variable that I didn't even bother to ask about because... yeah, nobody is going to remember that. There's enough variation that the odds of picking the same combination somebody played are pretty low if I roll randomly. But I figured if somebody did remember something, easy enough to change it up.
Anyway...
Anyone who hasn't, please fill out RPGChronicles and add your info and token to the Slides.
Please make sure to include an e-mail address on RPGChronicles. In addition to being the easiest way for me to get you your Chronicles after the game, this event offers door prizes--but you can only win if you've submitted an e-mail address.
Feel free to start introducing your characters in the Gameplay thread.

RPG Chronicles and slides have been filled out for Zaradanth.
My partner (who is playing Zaradanth's bonded partner, Sijasi) will be back from a business trip tomorrow, so I will wait to introduce the big guy until she's back and recovered enough to join in.

GM Super Zero |

Po'ogan and Thistlecore, don't forget to fill out RPGChronicles and add your information to the Slides. Thank you!

I played and GM'd it, but running a new character through makes a fun opportunity to get inside their head and see it through their eyes. I'm good with whatever you choose to throw at us.
I'll add Thistlecore to the RPG Chronicles and slides tonight. Sorry about that oversight!

This scenario doesn't have the Starship tag, so it doesn't matter what our ship roles are (probably). It's just that Kalhoun would definitely have ideas about where he should sit in a ship full of recruits. He would just as quickly volunteer for holodeck cleanup duty if he were the lowest ranked Starfinder aboard.

FYI, Sijasi's player and I will be at a convention October 27-29, so we can't guarantee we'll have the time and energy to post that weekend. From what I can remember of this scenario, we have a good shot at being done by then, but I thought I'd mention it just in case we aren't.

GM Super Zero |

Please take a moment to double-check the information on RPG Chronicles, because I suspect I'll be sending those out soon.

Zaradanth is good.

![]() |

Info good. Po had .5 XP at start. It is not showing up on RPGChronicles, but I can fix afterwards.
Thanks all for a fun run!

![]() |

RPG Chronicles can't handle fractional XP. You'll have to add it in after the sheets are issued.
My information looks good.

Yes, thanks for running! I had a lot of fun trying out my new dragonkin PC!

GM Super Zero |

And that about concludes Intro 1: The First Test!
You found at least three pieces of evidence (there were six total--five to find through search checks and one shared by the Khyyrents after succeeding at peaceful contact), which is a success at your primary objective. You avoided combat with the Khyyrents, which is the secondary objective.
You earn 220 credits for defeating the skeletal Khyyrents, 260 for defeating the ardus, and 240 for negotiating with or defeating the Khyyrent explorers. All accomplished, for a total of 720.
And now, a slight issue: The Guide is down, and this is my first time running SFS. I'm supposed to... call for day job rolls, right?
Or does that work like PFS2, where players are responsible for handling their own downtime between sessions?

![]() |

Players are allowed to handle their own downtime now. I usually offer to let people roll in the thread and have it added to their chronicle, but it is not required.
And since you brought it up...
Profession (Musician): 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (16) + 12 = 28
Kalhoun's side gig as bassist for various opening acts or touring bands at Absalom Station goes well, possibly because of a very recognizable guitar.

![]() |

Profession (mercenary): 1d20 + 8 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 8 + 1 = 13
I haven't used his reroll yet, so I will now (including +2 for my 2 novas).
Profession (mercenary): 1d20 + 8 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 8 + 1 + 2 = 30
MUCH better!
(Edited to add the +1 to day job rolls for professional clothing.)

![]() |

Profession (mercenary)+clothing: 1d20 + 11 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 11 + 1 = 22
44 creds for day job.
Thank you for running! I had a great time playing with y'all.

No Day Job here. Thanks for running!
Fun run, all! I look forward to sharing a table with you in the future.

No day job here. :)
Really fun team to play with. I hope we can find each other around a table in the future!

GM Super Zero |

Okay. I'll get it submitted for reporting and distribute Chronicles as soon as I get home this evening.

Chronicle looks good.
