**HOUSE GM ANNOUNCEMENT**
Venture-Captain Viore Ciobanu stands at the altar where, not long ago, Serraleth stood performing her foul magic, a look of determined concentration on his face. Eando Kline gently hands him the amber pendant lent to the Pathfinders at the beginning of their journey, which Ciobanu stares at for a long moment before speaking. “To think, after all these years, I would be standing here surrounded by Pathfinders on a mission for the queen. There’s hardly a moment in the last decade I would have believed this to be possible.” He regards the item for another long moment, then looks up once more. “Well, I suppose we ought to begin.”
Ciobanu wipes the altar clean, laying the amber at the center of the inscribed circle on its surface. Saying a prayer to Yuelral in Elven, he picks up the stone and holds it up once more. A beam of sunlight pierces the clouds outside, streaming in through a high window and striking the amber, which casts a golden glow throughout the temple. As if in response, the altar seems to illuminate from below in red, blue, and green, the lights combining to bathe the whole temple in a beautiful, shimmering cascade of light. The corruption so evident a moment ago throughout the temple seems to melt away from the light, and by the time the sun passes once more behind a cloud and the light fades, no sign of it remains. In Ciobanu’s hands, the amber stone has taken on a murky, opaque appearance.
After another quiet moment, he hands the stone back to Eando Kline, who quickly secures it in a small wooden box. “Thank you, agents. You have done the people of Kyonin a great service today. Serraleth’s intentions were not good, and who knows what her scheme would have done to empower the schemes of the Tanglebriar should she have succeeded. More immediately, you have saved the people of this town from a horrible fate, and for that you should be commended twice over. I won’t soon forget what you have done this day, and hopefully neither will Iadara.”
“For now, agents,” Fola Barun says, joining Viore on the dais, “we can enjoy our victory! I understand the people of Folien are preparing a celebration as we speak! Rest, relax, and be comforted in the knowledge that you have done well. You deserve it!”
That’s the end! Thank you all for playing, and a huge thank you to all our table GMs and backup GMs for all your hard work making this happen!

Claps of lightning strike the hounds down as ethereal spirits descend from above. "Sorry about that, didn't notice the other two hounds." One of the elven scouts lifts her axe.
"Yuelral sent us here to thank you, personally, for your efforts. She also said she would uh... take care of Nathatel."
The other sister chuckles. "That dummy. He thinks it's an honor to have his efforts be recognized by a deity of elves. Anyway, we gotta go. Afterlife is kind of fun... Bye!" The spirits fade away just as Venture-Captain Viore Ciobanu comes rushing in, ready to cleanse the temple.
---
One last evening before you leave Fiolen and return home. You notice a familiar woman with unfamiliar guests. "Oh, howdy there!" The elven woman waves and stands up. "We're making some snacks before ya'll leave. Come sit with me, there's plenty of room."
The woman's family sits alongside Persea the dryad and Marlindae the jeweler. Opposite them you can see Venture-Captains Kline and Barun, trying out a confection of melted marshmallow, sandwiched between graham crackers and chocolate beans. "It's like you smooshed sugar between beans and grains..." Persea chews on it for a bit. "But it's hard to swallow?"
"Ooey, gooey oh so chewy." She turns to you with a mischievous grin. "Hungry?"
Thanks for playing, everyone. I'll try to get the chronicles out later today.

When the hounds are finally gone for good, Mork offers Nakgu his chalice. In orc, "Drink from magic cup?" Later at the evening bonfire, Mork sits next to Marilindae. "Good luck with shop, Madam. Mork would like to buy small crystal as souvenir of trip to Kyonin." He helps himself to the gooey snack and looks around for some more.
Thanks GM Chadius for keeping things moving us along and offering the optional encounters! Really fun playing with such a great group of players! Thanks all!!!

Isaku breathes a sigh of relief as the hounds finally stop coming. He writes up his report and closes his investigation before joining the celebration.
