Grimmylow Grunderbuff |
As I'm assuming in game division of money doesn't affect the chronicle sheets and there's nothing Grimmylow wants at this level, he will gladly leave his share in the pot to be divided amongst the others, if they can find a good use for it.
GM Watery Soup |
Oh - also, if anyone wants me to record Downtime on the Chronicle, post here or post the rolls here, and I'll include them. If not, those are optional.
Grimmylow Grunderbuff |
Underworld Lore (Downtime): 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Grimmylow goes to preach the forgiveness of Sarenrae to the sinners.
They are not very receptive to the message.
Kzem |
Esoteric Lore, Downtime: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7
Kzem gets lost in an antique shop and forgets to actually do anything during his time off.
GM Watery Soup |
Game has been submitted. Chronicles can be found HERE.
I'm ready to start Part 2 as soon as y'all are done shopping.
Martin Gale |
I haven't built the character yet, but I'm going to make flat rolls for my ITS.
Downtime (Upper Level): 1d20 ⇒ 4
Downtime (Lower Level): 1d20 ⇒ 4
Downtime (Sundered Waves): 1d20 ⇒ 1
Kzem |
If Grimmylow reduces his share, total is 25.59 for everyone.
20.47 otherwise.
I don't have any particular needs until I can get a +1 potency rune- though I may pick up a few expendables (just in case).
I'll be ready to go as soon as everyone else would be
Thorn Goldenoak |
Btw. Does going into the 2nd part mean that we should level up :) As I honestly do not remember :D
GM Watery Soup |
No level up here - there maaay be one at the very end, depending on how completionist you are.

+1 runes are the big items, and you as a group can almost afford 3 of them (not sure if any of you have leftover from character creation).
Updated sheet for Thorn int he same folder.
Meadow the Archer |
Looks to me like we will want to keep the minor healing potion, the everburning torch and the +1 rune but not the shortsword that it's attached to. It looks like the rune transfer will cost 3.5 gold and take one day, craft DC 16. Buzz should be able to do that.
Once we transfer the rune and sell the rest we have 75.79 -3.5 or 72.29gp remaining assuming Buzz manages to transfer the run without failing. another 35 gold gets a second +1 rune leaving us with 37.29 gold. I say we give these two runes to Kzem and Thorn. This brings them up to +7 to hit. Meadow has an 18 dex so she already has +7 to hit. With th remaining 37.29 we load up on minor healing potions, scrolls of healing, scrolls of magic weapon and maybe a potency crystal and whatever Buzz feels he needs.
Meadow would like the everburning torch since she can stick it in her belt or backpack and free up her hands for her bow.
Kzem |
Kzem has 4.5 left from character creation, and would be very happy to acquire a potency rune for his shield boss. That would cover the cost of the transfer.
Unless I hear otherwise, I'll update my character sheet and profile reflecting a 1.5 GP and a +1 potency rune.

Just to make it clear, when THorn shoots he has +8 to hit due to expert proficiency, at the same time his weapon has fatal => more damage on crits
GM Watery Soup |
It looks like there's plenty for 3 +1 runes. (Ignore the transfer Crafting check, but include the cost.)
Anything else people want to buy? If not, I'll start the lower level.

LET'S GET READY TO RUMBBBBBLE!
Fireworks erupt as Meadow and Silence enter the arena. They confidently make their way to the ring, high fiving audience members as they go. The ranger holds the ropes open for the owl who stares at her for a moment before flying over the ropes to enter the center of the ring. As the crowd laughs, Meadow gives Silence a cocky salute and vaults into the ring to join her friend.

Aight, I'm going to leave it up to you guys to figure out what was purchased. I assume three +1 runes but you'll need to update your sheets / macros.
Kzem |
I added mine to all the right spots, and deducted my 3.5 gold. Kzem is "even" with the purchases and doesn't require anything else.

@GM, today I was chatting on discord with someoen about GM'ing, and how I find nice when GM tries to adjust the story to the characters, this is the answer that I got
I've played in one or two Society games like that (GM Waterysoup on the Paizo boards did an amazing game of 1-03: Escaping the Grave for my Lastwall Refugee mage),
I just wanted to pass the credit along ;)
Meadow the Archer |
"Thanks, Meadow! Everyone knows the harder it is to tame an animal, the better pet it makes!" Grimmylow says.
"Go get it, Kzem! I'll keep protecting you and Sarenrae will guide your hand. Actually...she'll also be protecting you. Sorry Sarenrae, please forgive me for forgetting that my power comes through your glory!...thanks for forgiving me!"
◆ sustain Forbidding Ward on Kzem, ◆ Guidance on Kzem, ◆ Shield on Grimmylow
Ha! Fantastic bit of retroactive foreshadowing there Ebonfist. I'm playing this adventure as Meadows backstory before she travels to Absalom to join the pathfinder society so this is a fun lead into the gecko incident.

Aaaaand, true to form, I don't believe I have handed out a single Hero Point in the whole adventure, so I'm just going Oprah style.
YOU get a Hero Point! And YOU get a Hero Point! EVERYONE GETS A HERO POINT!
Grimmylow Grunderbuff |
I'm going to wait to see if the last Xulgath gets killed before deciding what to do (healing or fighting.)
But I have to say, the idea of the stench that would come off a burning xulgath...

Just as a heads up, this game will not be completed before PaizoCon.
GM Watery Soup |
On the wild assumption that this combat encounter doesn't end in a TPK, you will all level up to Level 2 after this combat, which will make the final encounters a little easier.
I'll tally up the treasure in case there's some stuff you want to buy.

In other news, I have recently finished playing Troubles in Otari, and I hear that Farol has finished GMing it.
I have set up a thread for my game HERE.
Re-iterating:
1. All five of you are invited.
2. I will not be offended if any of you choose to decline.
I'll need a bit of time to prepare, but there's a bit of adventure remaining here, anyway, so I don't think it'll be a limiting factor.

lol, I dotted into your campaign
GM Watery Soup |
Are we using the same characters?
You're not required to, but you can. The character creation rules are pretty much the same. I think you'll end up with a little more gold if you do, but some character options would be locked in.
---
I can't find evidence that anyone bought anything after the upper level. Is that correct?
If so, each character carries over 20.46 gp from upstairs, and then, so far, you've found:
Xulgaths: 7.8 gp cash
Fountain: 3.08 gp cash
Silk: 5 gp
Painting: 2 gp
Cash: 2 gp
Decanter: 1 gp
Token sell value: 1.5 gp
Healing Potion sell value: 4 gp
Total if all sold: 26.38 gp (5.28 gp per character)
Kzem |
I'm pretty sure we pooled our resources to buy some striking runes during the break between levels.
Kzem spent the money to transfer a rune and spent a few other smaller things

Having played an investigator in that very same group I'm afraid I will have to decline a replay. Meadow will move on to the big city of Absalom to take in the sights.

I'm sure I'll see Meadow in PFS games, and I'm sure I'll see you as a player in other games too.
I'm going to be running #2-02 after the second table of Menace is done, if you want a reserved seat, you're welcome to one.
