What treasure he finds, he hands over.
Why things have to be mean... He shakes his head.
Ratel Dier |
Chuckling at the goblins question, Ratel considers the fact that sometime it was just easier to stay mad at the world, not that it was exactly the same as 'mean' but certainly similar.
As they move around the rooms Ratel notes the descending stairs, both in the western room and the eastern. Pointing towards the east he asks, "Shall we check the eastern rooms before we descend."
Not waiting for an answer, keeping his long spear at the ready, Ratel moves back through the room 18 to see what was on the other side.

once again you are attempting the wrong knowledge : Local (legends, personalities, inhabitants, laws, customs, traditions, humanoids). If you were looking for humandoids this might be useful. You need Knowledge Nature for Montrous Humanoids and recalling specifie information like this is a standard action.
know nature on an 18 : Nothing holds a grudge like a minotaur. Scorned by the civilized races centuries ago and born from a deific curse, minotaurs have hunted, slain, and devoured lesser humanoids in retribution for real or imagined slights for as long as anyone can remember. Many cultures have legends of how the first minotaurs were created by vengeful or slighted gods who punished humans by twisting their forms, robbing them of their intellects and beauty, and giving them the heads of bulls. Yet most modern minotaurs hold these legends in contempt and believe that they are not divine mockeries but divine paragons created by a potent and cruel demon lord named Baphomet.[ooc]@Brvheart, my usual question: are these guys "followers of set"? no

Jim stepped to the south, allowing those behind him to bright their attacks to bear without him in the way. As he did so, he drew on the magic of several items. The first was his swordmaster's flair which magically enhanced his reach, and the other was the feather in his cap which gave him more oomph which he felt he was sure to need.
He then engages the middle target with a flurry of sword work.
This is mostly just flavor text, the plume of panache (the feather in his cap) doesn't take an action. The sword master's flair take a swift action.
