Jim followed Ciri along the corridor to the southern room. All the talk of wizardry had been above his head, but that didn't bother him too much, mostly he was grateful for Thoron's healing (even if he did feel a little stiff). As they walked he remarked to Ciri, "That wizard we fought earlier is going to be back, I'm sure of it. Probably need to set double watches when we rest."
As they drew close, Jim cautiously listened in case there was anything lurking nearby.

I think Jim is at 63 HP, although he's down to 12 on roll20.
| Ratel Dier |
Realizing Ciri and Jim were heading through the south room and into the hallway beyond, Ratel shifted his long spear to his shoulder turning to the dwarf he comments, "Come on Thoron, we're moving again." and hustled to catch up.
Hearing Jim recommend they 'double the guard' Ratel makes a mental note to ask him how the watch had been set and how he could help. Pausing at the entrance to room to the south, seeing the piles of straw? he asks, "Was this where the multi-headed beast was?"
As he asks he shifts his long spear and pokes around at the piles on the floor, making sure the room was safe.

Terodius joins with the others, moving on from the bedchamber. He chimes in "If we are lucky, we will be able to bring him to battle again before he rests - he has used many high level spells in that ambush, and with Mitra's grace, we are almost fully recovered. And he is weakened being down an ape, a hydra, and a swordsman..."

Trolls possess incredibly sharp claws and amazing regenerative powers, allowing them to recover from nearly any wound. They are stooped, fantastically ugly, and astonishingly strong—combined with their claws, their strength allows them to literally tear apart flesh to feed their voracious appetites. Trolls stand about 14 feet tall, but their hunched postures often make them appear shorter. An adult troll weighs around 1,000 pounds.
A troll’s appetite and its regenerative powers make it a fearless combatant, ever prepared to charge headlong at the nearest living creature and attack with all of its fury. Only fire seems to cause a troll to hesitate, but even this mortal threat is not enough to stop a troll’s advance. Those who commonly battle with trolls know to locate and burn any pieces after a fight, for even the smallest scrap of flesh can regrow a full-size troll given enough time. Fortunately, only the largest part of a troll regrows in this way.
Despite their cruelty in combat, trolls are surprisingly tender and kind to their own young. Female trolls work as a group, spending a great deal of time teaching young trolls to hunt and fend for themselves before sending them off to find their own territories. A male troll tends to live a solitary existence, partnering with a female for only a brief time to mate. All trolls spend most of their time hunting for food, as they must consume vast amounts each day or face starvation. Due to this need, most trolls stake out large territories as their own, and fights between rivals are quite common. While these are usually nonlethal, trolls are aware of each others’ weaknesses and will use such knowledge to kill their own kind if food is scarce.

Trolls can have a 10' reach all they want. If we pull 15 or 20' back in the corridor (say where Ciri's icon is), they can only put 1 troll on the front line attacking (2 if they squeeze, with the associated penalties)...
There is always next round, I just don't want Terodius to feel like we don't read the other people's posts or we do and then ignore them....
