Brvheart remember the belt has an magic circle protection from evil on it. With the ring it's a widened magic circle of protection from evil. Any evil creature suffers 1d8 smite evil damage per round.
Don't know the radius, but the regular magic circle of protection from evil has a 10' radius.

It does, however the belt with the ring gives you an anti-magic shell that does not allow magic in or out of the sphere so in order to cast spells or channel Thoron must surpress it for 1d6 rounds.

OCC: Note I have been keeping track of my damage and healing in my header and what I see associated with my icon on the map does not jive. With that last heal I have Rhaym at 71/59 not 71/26 ?? Did I miss some damage some where? I started the fight at 71/71 due to all the healing prior to or at the beginning of this fight
Rhaym focuses his deity's ire on Xor {Smite Evil} then steps up and attacks. Resolving to himself to bring this evil to an end.

The protection from evil is currently surpressed (see note on Thoron's post, I am familiar with these artifacts and they have some restrictions) so the crit confirmed. Also, he was not completely healed before the attack. I keep tract of that.
Your attack misses Xor's AC of 28.| brvheart |
The original text: THE GIRDING OF MITRA: (The Lion Belt) An actual relic, this is the belt worn by Mitra when he walked the earth as a man. It radiates a powerful 15' radius protection from evil and if combined with the amulet (Mitra's eye) it will form an anti-magic shell about the bearer. The shell may be dispelled only by re¬moving one of the items from the bearer's person or by depressing the topaz in the lion mouth of the amulet which will negate the anti-magic shell only for 1 - 6 melee rounds. If combined with the ring (Mitra's favor), it will extend the radius of its protection from evil power to a 20' radius. Any evil creature(s) within that radius will suffer 1 - 8 points of damage per round.
"Slim" Jim
Jim Gritted his teeth as the impact from trading blows from Xor rang up his arm, is was a little like smashing his sword into a giant boulder at full strength. He'd just have to push that little bit harder.
Flanking Xor with Sir Rhaym, Jim found several openings and pressed them home mercilessly! It was inevitable that Xor would counter attack, so Jim did what he could to be ready.

OCC: Okay so that we are on the same page after the last AoE heal how many hit points are you saying that Rhaym has. As I had, between his Lay on Hands used and Thoron's AoE Heals used he was at his full 71 HP prior to that last attack that did a heft amount of damage. Not debating just want to know where you have him situated at.

Are you posting your lay on hands rolls? I guess I missed seeing that, think I saw one back during the giant skeleton. Was there once since? It's a swift action for yourself in combat, and you still get full attack. I thank you for the blessing, it's very nice of you.

You used your Lay on Hands for Power of Faith. That does not give you healing also. It is something you can do in trade out for a lay on hands.
Sir Rhaym .
OCC: I must have dreamed doing it (or more likely a posting error) as I went back and scoured through the posts and found only 1 instance of me using Lay on Hands to heal myself where I explicitly remember doing it twice. Oh and no I did not heal myself when using Power of Faith, yes it does not do that. I will add back in the 1 Lay on Hands I used but did not use and move forward.

They can spend a use of their Lay on Hands ability to call upon the power of their faith as a Standard Action. This causes a nimbus of light to emanate from them in a 30-foot radius. This power lasts for 1 minute per use.
All allies (including the character), as long as they remain within the area of light, receive the following:
* +1 Morale Bonus to AC
* +1 Morale Bonus Attack rolls
* +1 Morale Bonus Damage rolls
* +1 Morale Bonus Save vs Fear
As a Swift Action, they choose one target within sight to smite. If this target is evil, they add their Charisma bonus (if any) to their Attack rolls and add thier Paladin level to all Damage rolls made against the target of their smite. If the target of smite is an evil outsider with the evil subtype, an evil-aligned dragon, or an undead creature, the bonus to damage on the first successful attack increases to 2 points of damage per Paladin level. Regardless of the target, smite evil attacks automatically bypass any DR that the creature might possess. In addition, while smite evil is in effect, the character gains a Deflection Bonus equal to their Charisma modifier (if any) to their AC against attacks made by the target of the smite. The smite evil effect remains until the target of the smite is dead or the next time the paladin rests and regains their uses of this ability.
* +3 Charisma Bonus Attack
* +7 Level Bonus Damage
* +3 Deflection Bonus AC

FWIW I think it's probably safer for Fralk if he's ranged sice Xor hits hard, Jim can parry if he's lucky which helps. Although if Fralk wants to risk it and try some sneak attacks Jim'll move.

Hey, in Recruitment I answered the call for a frontliner! :) 3 vs 1 is always better. With DM permission if you step into one of those half-spaces... I'll step into the flank.

The goblin does a little dance with some questionable gestures and hip thrusts.
...mud in yo eye. In yo face... Xor... pfft!
Tentatively, his foot kicks the sword and hammer from the fallen enemy's hands.
Sir Rhaym .
OCC: I suggest that since Xor's room has been vacated that we retire to that room, searching it thoroughly, to rest as it makes for an easier defensive position. Not sure but it might even have a door. Regardless it at least has beds and perhaps other safe ammenities. Oh and with Purify Food and Drink it even has food ;-)
Rhaym pulls out a small cloth and carefully cleans his blade before re-sheathing it. Letting the others more attuned to the tasks search the bodies for valuables and magic.

Yes the one at the top of the bend should be comfortable and safe.
I don't think our cleric prepared that spell, I asked once before.

Rhaym glances down at his belt and then replies to Ciri, "Oh that, well it can make me a large creature. Although the benfits to being large seems to me to be of a near to meaningless and next to useless situation for most situations especially when one takes in all the factors of being much bigger seems to incur. Still it might have been somewhat useful against that skeleton but it did not come to mind at the time and proved to be be unneeded."
OCC: For instance in this last fight I would be trading a +1 To Hit and +2 To Damage for a -1 To AC and I felt the AC was a wee bit more important and with the skeleton it seemed unnecessary. So basically for a medium sized creature becoming large with this belt would only benefit if one has to contend with certain Combat Maneuvers where the size bonus is more significant but these seem to rarely happen.

Stiff but grateful for the healing from the wand, Jim muttered to Fralk, "Xor certainly seemed to be crazy..."
Noting somebody tied up, Jim asked "Are you all right?" He didn't make any move to free them yet, hopefully the pious among them would determine if this person had evil in their heart or not.

The elf walks in the room with you and sees the guy tied up, "
Faffnyr, you are alive!!! I thought you dead with the others!"
Fralk ibn Sabbah
The goblin claps the dwarf on the back, Thanks, brotha'..!
He starts limbering up and feeling for any other ouchies, Hmm... I feel good.
Then he goes about searching the room, one eye still on this... Faffnyr fellow. As a child, a friend of his had a lizard by that name or something similar.
