With the cultist dead, Adigale turns to the demon, with dripping bits of cultist falling from her horns, and spitting out what she thinks is an ear. The ginger lady jumps at the demon, hacking, headbutting and biting as much as she can.

The witch laughs mockingly, pointing her finger at the demon.
Adigale tears into the demon, with three of her strikes connecting! The Schirs thick hide blocks a fair bit of the damage, it is now looking rather bruised.
Just as Adigale was about to complain about "EFFING DAMAGE RESISTANCE", Sevannas song kicks in, letting her deal
solid extra damage! The Shir is now barely standing!
Enraged, it strikes back at Adigale!
It wiffs in a most comical fashion, and looks back at Arrius

The remaining tieflings continue their tactic of throwing things, this time at Adigale as they arent that interested in acquiring "bloody mist form" the hard way.
One hits her with an alchemist fire

GREAT JOB BILL! The Schir shouts as he 5 feet steps away from the red headed whirwind of bloody mist forming!

Adigale is entangled, the Schir is badly hurt, near death even.
Thanks to the power of Iomedae, Constantine FINALLY hits SOMETHING!!!
Arrius expertly deflects the Schirs rapid blows, and then lunges into a diagonal slash, neatly decapaciating the demon.
Fun fact the closes cultist says
If a Schir is expertly decapaciated, the flesh on the rest of the body becomes no longer demon pox spreading, and if baked with a sizeable degree of garlic, chili and beets, is barely distinguishable from goat, and is even seen as a delicacy in some quarters. as he drones on the other cultists seeks to move towards one of the doors, and the dretch seems to be rather afraid of Arrius too.
As the sticky goo splatters all over Adigale, an angry shriek erupts from the red-headed young woman. She immediately starts tearing at the goo with her teeth and claws.

Sapphire 5' steps to the next one and smacks it each side of the head with a Mace on each side.
The Lawful evil Androids eyes glow red as it singing to itself a nice little dittie, what better way to slaughter organics and to sing a happy little song.

Sahala laughs merrily watching Schirs's severed head roll, then starts clapping her hands to the beat of Sapphire's song, and at the same time turns her expressive gaze to the last demon.
Constantine blushes under his helmet at Sapphire's choice of song.
Aurical did not think to blush, but his tail swayed behind him in minor agitation. "Look at the tinker's tart, oh how she titters, glad she's on my side, she can kill all those critters." he singsonged in a small voice. He gave a huff and tried to focus on his spell. The enemies were so wonderfully grouped, and they really shouldn't blink around Sapphire.

"Please keep some alive, I want to take them apart and see how the organic brain works. I think I can reprogram it with some cutting"
She says in her cold inhuman mechanical voice as she smacks the head of the one in front of her.
"Come on brain, come out so I can inspect you."
Constantine moves to attack the dretch allowing Sapphire to proceed with her 'experiment' although he's puzzled how a mace is going to open a head without damaging the brain...
THe group quickly dispatches the remaining foes, Aurical stops retching and Adigale frees herself.
The Schir wears a +1 Breastplate, still bearing signs of Iomedae, but with Abyssal scribblings turning the inscription from "Iomedae smites Deskaris" to "Iomedae sucks Deskaris swearword", he also has both a +1 Halberd and a +1 Bardiche.
Between them, the cultists have 3 remaining alchemist fire, 3 doses of holy water labeled with "if zombies get uppity", 2 thundertones, 3 tanglefoot bags and 2 nets. The nets detect as magical, and have the abyssal symbols of Mazzmezz, demonlord of spiders, on them.

You hear the voice of your all purpose tool, it seems to be reacting to the nets the cultist were using.
An eerie silence descends, as there are many doors yet unopened.
Constantine extricates himself from the net and assists the others in removing the useful items from the fallen.
"The holy water should prove to be quite the thirst quencher for any remaining demons. And we'll pass around the tanglefoot bags to prevent any escapees."
Constantine motions to the open door behind Adigale as the next area to check.
She gets one alive and bending down over him, looks him in the yes and she starts to open his skull.
"So tell me how dos this feel."
But he dies before she can start in his brain,
"Humm, I may have to rethink my approach."
She takes 3 remaining alchemist fire to replenish her stock, the 2 thundertones always handy for a ninja, 3 tanglefoot bags get tucked away as well but she hands the 2 nets to Aurical.
Adigale is more of a mess than in the previous battles. Blood and gore dripping from all over if one thing, but with the sticky gunk of a tanglefoot bomb the image is horrific.
Until the paste from the bag hardens and then sloughs off, taking most of the murder scene depicted on her body with it.
"Neat!" she whispers in awe, barely noticing the collection and distribution of goods. She's not one for throwing things though and doesn't miss the extra load.
She does notice the motion from Constantine, "Oh, back there. Okay." she turns and moves quietly (which is probably silly, given the screaming, crashing, flaming melee they just got done with).
What ever others do not take she places in her magic backpack.
Standing she notes Adigale sneaking off.
There is a shimmer of force and the muck, blood and grime fall off her.
Then she follows Adigale
Sahala, not stained with all this filth, carefully steps over the bodies, lifting the skirts of her dress.

Constantine activates his wand of Bless Weapon to 'recharge' his cold iron longsword, readies his shield, and leads the way.
Aurical inspects the nets with caution. "Are you sure contraption?" he asks with suspicion, "These are demon devices, would they not corrupt you? If they do, I will shatter you on a forge."
This briefly distracts him from Sapphire opening up the skull of a cultist. "That is cruel Sapphire, and not the actions of a crusader." he explains, "Save that for demons... they are more resilient to such things anyway."
He paws at her hip a moment, trying to get into her pack. "I require one of those vials of holy water." he pleads, "For when my crossbow fails me."
"Cruel... I now this word, it was used by some of you organics who where fighting for Mechs rights, that is contraption rights such as myself."
She corrects herself using his term.
"They said it was cruel that we where made slaves, lived and died as slaves. That we where ended on whims, some tomes for no other reasons than entreatment or sport. Humm interrupting Are you saying we are skilling these cultists for sport or entreatment?"
She hands him over a Holy water bottle,
"As for me being corrupted. I am hardwired in my systems check any technological upgrade compatibility with my core code. That of an Assassin kill-Bot. It is conceivable that someone with the right technical capabilities could over write them. But the vat lab and skilled technicians needed to undertake that task are currently"
She stops a moment to think.
"8,167.2 light years away form my current location."
She looks down at him and smile, its a fake smile but all her facale expressions are fake.
Adigale looks over at the exchange with a crease forming in her brow. "I didn't understand most of that" she admits with just a touch of embarrassment to Sapphire and Aurical. "But I also don't get the whole Don't Desecrate your enemies either. Dead is dead, the part of them that is them is in the river already, unless they become not dead again which then bashing them is Okay again. Why is one okay but not the other, and what if you do it to keep the other from happening, is it okay then?" Adigale may have been snapped at before because of overzealous destruction of a formally living being.

Ability to shoot restraints will prevent Kobold personel of Abadar from being forcefully ingested by chaotic entities!
If you let the multipurpose tool assimilate the nets, you can shoot a web, once per day, as a range touch attack. The DC to break free is 10+half your level + your cha mod. It isnt the web spell but a single range touch attack. Your multi purpose tool will offer upgrade paths for it later, should you wish to invest in it.

"My concern Adigale is for her causing the living undo pain by trying to poke around in their heads. I will say some evil rituals call on the desecration of the dead. If we take to mutilating corpses we might end up aiding our enemy."

It's important that we fight to win and not to cause unnecessary pain and suffering. The fiends could stop their destruction by leaving this world and going back to the Abyss - where they belong."
Turning to Sapphire, "I have never seen or met a being such as yourself. If there is a fight to make your people free I will be in the forefront to fight for your freedom and the right of self-determination. Killing your people just because you're inconvenient or obsolete is just as wanton and evil as the carnage wrought by these damnable demons. All sentient beings deserve freedom, independence, and protection. By the will of Iomedae may it be so for all."

"O I see the confusion, no I was trying to reprogram the living cultist. But the soft matter of the brain could not stand up to the most basic of inspection, and then it became dead. As I said, I will have to think about this, and work out a means to reprogram living brains with out harm to them. Once reprogrammed they would no longer be a threat to everything we value. It would be far more effective then using crude valiance to brake them unto death. More elegant and logical. There was a prosess called 'brain washing' I don't mean literally, it was more a psychological reprogramming of core beliefs"
She says, wondering why the small organic could not grasp the logic.
Turning to Sapphire, "I have never seen or met a being such as yourself. Aurical shakes his snot slowly. "Unfortunately brain washing causes much harm as well." he points out, "Us fleshy types are not so convenient to dissuade I am afraid."
Sapphire took off her haversack and placed the maces in it. Then took out her blades, one long one short, and placed them in her belt. They looked wickrly sharp and well made. Using some kind of magic she cleaned herself off head to toe. She took the longer out and looked at Aurical
"I am ready shall we?"
Constantine tilts his head as if listening to someone...or something...and nods his head.
He sheathes the cold iron longsword, stows the shield, and draws the odd cold iron nodachi he found what seemed so long ago. He could feel...something...different about the blade.
"It is time."
While Sapphire did say 'I don't mean literally', Adigale does crack a wide grin, imagining an old washer woman raking one of these lumps of irritation's brains over and over across a washing board. Simple pleasures. Of course, she'd simply prefer to kill them and be done with it.
As they prepare, the ginger tiefling stretches, pulling an arm hard enough to the side to pop, repeating with the other, arching her back until the same happens, so on, until she is properly limber. Lastly she adjusts her wide brimmed hat and announces "Ready and willing"
Aurical did not smile at Sapphire, but this was because much like her he did not express himself as a regular humanoid did. He did bob his head slightly, tail slowly drifting side to side behind him.
"Yes, there are more evil cultists and demons to destroy."
Sahala lets out a playful laugh and nods, smiling very slyly.
As you ener the room Stacks of scrolls, books, maps, and more sit atop a large
hexagonal table in this room. The walls are painted with detailed
maps of Sarkoris, over which features of the Worldwound have
been painted.
There is a fair bit of paperwork there.
