Physical Science: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (19) + 10 = 29 I'm on a roll, I guess. Dicebot will abandon me during combat, no doubt.
"Wow." Rilynn stands in awe of the massive cathedral, struggling to take it all in.
Two of the constellations on the ceiling are recognizable. "Those represent the Pact Worlds and the Veskarium," she points out.
"I would never have imagine such a place here. Now I understand Jadnura's fascination with this place. Dare we venture through those doors?"
Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 8 = 23

DICEBOT WILL NEVER ABANDON YOU
DM Kludde |
Now with updated map. I've marked doors in red to make them easier to see
Toknomonicon |
Tokno directs Wanda up the stairs once the crystal is rendered safe and the front door is opened. He quietly murmurs encouragement to the wolliped, who will need to some extra time and effort to pass through the person-sized doors of this building--though this place still seems roomy than most spacecraft the pair have traveled in. The gnome is certainly not willing to leave his pet behind in such a strange place.
Perception: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (2) + 10 = 12
Wanda the Wolliped |
Wanda briefly rumbles a complaint that her rider feels rather than hears due to the vacuum, but then docilely obeys Tokno. She makes some snuffling movements with her snout until she dimly realizes that her sense of smell doesn't carry beyond her environmental field here, either. She settles for looking around carefully with her four eyes, alert for danger to her or her rider.
Perception: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (10) + 10 = 20
Chrysanthemum Gabbro |
Chrysanthemum moves cautiously into the room, glancing at the ceiling for a moment before looking around for danger.
"And First Seeker Jadnura is supposed to be here, correct? Then let us be logical."
With that, she heads towards the nearest door...
Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10
...and opens it.
Velorum Knight Errant |
No Physical Science here. Do the Stars align to indicate the sky as seen from a particular place?
Walk in the Void states: In addition, whenever you can see the stars, you can determine your precise location.
Regardless, he will look around as he walks in to follow Chrysanthemum
Perception check walking into the room: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (17) + 13 = 30
Chadrah |
Chadrah enter the temple admiring the symbols just for their aesthetics, but instead of looking for meaning on the stars her attention turns towards the northern side of the room.
Perception: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (13) + 11 = 24
DM Kludde |
The stars look to have been drawn from this particular point in space, only ever so slightly offset, as if to show their positions a long time ago.
Chrystanthemum opens the side door. A secondary entry chamber connects to a long hallway. Several ten-foot-square chambers stand east and west of the hall. Simple doors connect to each of the smaller rooms, though the
southernmost rooms remain inaccessible due to fallen debris
Rilynn Rae |
"One door to go."
Rilynn walks forward and opens the golden door.
Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13
Chrysanthemum Gabbro |
Chrysanthemum nods and moves up behind Rilynn, ready in case something leaps out at her.
Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13
Apparently, we're on the same wavelength today, Rilynn.
DM Kludde |
Roughly forty feet long and fifteen feet wide, this chamber would appear austere if not for the collapsed hunks of rock along its western side. A vast crystal dome opens from the ceiling some thirty feet above. Starlight rebounds to form intricate, immense images of dragons, bull-headed monsters, stars, and indistinct humanoid figures. Three closed wooden doors are set along the southern walls here, with another wooden door slightly ajar to the west. A silver doorway leads out to the north. Stone seats lie shattered and broken along with the debris of the western ceiling.
the stone seats are not part of the original collapse along the western wall; they instead look as though they were thrown in that direction
The figures cast by the dome represent common outsiders and entities known to act on Ibra’s behalf, including several creatures known as animate constellations that often come to the service of Ibran priests
