Ok sounds like we have our 5 players! I would say I would be ok waiting but in respect to the five who were able to get their submissions in I want to take them.

With that said! If you all want to do the game play and discussion pages I should have an opening ready in the next couple of hours!

Will this game include level-ups?

I am willing to stab a doll multiple times, for practice of course!

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I made slight alterations here. Although I"m still debating Slashing Grace vs + spell focus dc upper. Or dropping both for the gold. (Training enchantment). I'll probably drop it for Healer's gloves actually..

healing advice reply~ (never shy away from advice!):

I have pondered healer's gloves. If I drop a few purchases, or get that instead of Healer's Satchel Specialized.

Concerning the skill unlock heal.
Yeah that other feat does do more healing for sure at this level. But the healing wasn't the main reason I wanted it.
Also as a note. Healer's hands won't work on the Dhampy. Could still 1/day 1hr treat wounds though.

5 Ranks: When you treat deadly wounds, the target recovers hit points and ability damage as if it had rested for a full day.

Recovering as if they rested for a full day is the main bit I wanted.
That is 2xLv hp damage. Which, is nice of course; Healer's Satchel can also give a bonus of Wis or Wisx2.
But the main draw is 2 ability point damage, per use, per score. (Natural healing temporary damage returns at a rate of 1 night of 8 hrs rest or 2 per day of rest)
We do not currently have healer with things like restoration, or any other removals. So being able to heal ability damage is pretty strong.

Healer's Satchel also gives an option to heal Drain via long term care. I don't beleive this works with Healer's Hands (Even if they are being healed as if they rested the entire day). But it does give an option for Drain healing. Even if it takes a whole day. I don't think we have any other method to heal drain atm.

I cannot even guess how many slots I blew on healin ability stat damage when I went from lv 1-17 as an oracle of life. So many. and drain was really expensive.

All of this stated. If we have a healer inclined person, I can totall snag spell focus improved spell focus instead to up the saves on my debuff spell Chill touch and Ghoul Touch

also Sounds like any continued conversations might be better in the Discussion chat instead of recruiting?

Is there still room? I'm a little new to play-by-post, but Zwordsman pointed this campaign out to me and it looked fun~

I'm thinking a sorcerer. Either a changeling with the Tattooed Sorcerer archetype or an ifrit with the Wishcrafter archetype. She's be semi-local. Grew up in the countryside outside of the city, but came to Caliphas to seek work.

(I have more details in mind for her background, but that's the basic jist)

Sorry, Meowvelous we just closed up, but if anyone needs to bow out I would be happy to reach out to your first!

Actually Meowvelous I miscounted, I had forgotten that Eliphas had bowed out and I haven't heard back from him. Yu are more than welcome to join us!

Sounds great! I need to figure out Matilda's (that's the name I'm going for) equipment, and how to type out a decent sheet for her here, but I'm excited.

Going with the wishcrafter ifrit idea. Red skin, small horns, dark hair, and a general slightly spooky air about her. Between that and the wish-granting-magic she might easily be mistaken for a lesser fiend.

Alignment wise, either neutral or good. I'm having trouble deciding if wish magic (in the spirit of genies) would lean more toward a chaotic or lawful nature, or somewhere in-between.

Mechanically, a lot of versatile spells, with a little bit of focus on ones that could resemble stage magic, as well as various fire-related effects. Versatile is somewhat key, since her archetype only gets a buff to its spells if she can fulfil a wish made by an ally in some way.

Wishing for enemies to be set alight (Burning Hands perhaps, or Snapdragon Fireworks). Wishing for onesself to have greater strength (various buffs), to be smaller (Reduce Person), and so on.

It's a cool archetype, and seems like it could be very fun here.

If you need help their is a website called mythweavers that offers a great template to draft the character. Then you can usually either link to it or output a draft of it and copy and paste.
