I'm guessing we're gonna have to be making some perform checks during the course of this play. Can I get some sort of synergy bonus from bluff and/or disguise? (It seems that those things would help with acting)

It seems to be a slow week all around. The universe is resolutely set on giving me nothing fun to do in lieu of my growing pile of uni work. Oy vey! It is a hard life. In all seriousness, take your time, Mug. I'm certainly not one to be complaining about unexplained dissapearances

Meanwhile, the dungeon crawl is all angst and cowardice (and irony). It's good to have a game on PFS-style hard mode, though.

Lucon doesn't approve of the promiscuity we have so far! He's a decent married man, after all...
So a dungeon crawl, huh? Would that be the Everflame game you two have in common? I've actually joined my first PFS games here on the forums as a magic-stone throwing halfling cleric. I think this is a lot like running Lucon with mwk carpentry tools and a light hammer. I'm a horrible masochist when it comes to first level characters.
Me and SurplusRaine also got into a killer (if slow moving) Reign of Winter game. Our GM had us (attempt) to write some skaldic verse as a part of our applications and our characters have some pretty fantastic back and forth. I could gush about that for days.
What other games do the rest of te party have running?

I've also got a Reign of Winter campaign that is an absolute blast. This character is probably one of my all time favorites. I took a lot of inspiration from Merlin/Archimedes in Disney's Sword and the Stone, and then threw in a dash of Iskaral Pust from the Malazan Book of the Fallen series. Having him unable to internalize any of his thoughts makes him a lot of fun to write (and I hope fun to read too!)
I'm really enjoying the Carrion Crown campaign I'm in as well. The first two CC's I joined petered out dishearteningly fast, but this one seems to have gotten its legs and the group is just really great. I'm playing a beastmorph alchemist, flavoring the mutagen/beastmorphiness as basically a relapse into lycanthropy. It's fun!
The Kingmaker game I'm in also warrants a mention. James Martin and I got recruited into that one at the same time (back during the first chapter) as replacement characters and we both made kobolds. Mine is a cavalier and let me tell you, that -4 racial penalty to strength is a doozy! Though he's a wimp, that little kobold can buff nearly as well as a bard thanks to his challenge and the back-and-forth with the rest of the party has been a blast. It's been a comedy of errors at times, but we're having a great time. =)

I'm running a CC game right now, and having fun.
I'm also painting a Visobaroness Halfway down the first page
The live game I'm playing a gnome wizard (evoker) and having fun with my mount- a riding dog named Wolflord Brimely.

I'm in a bunch of games, now that I've gotten the hang of finding good PbPs. A pretty good CotCT where I've been hexing up a storm as a witch. The Everflame dungeon crawl with Andrea up thar, where our characters are woefully unoptimized and we keep getting slapped down to 0 HP by undead (oh, and we don't have much in the way of holy water, ranged weapons, blunt weapons, or spells against undead). Not that I mind, really, because it's good training.
Lessee, a great homebrew game set in Abaddon, a stroll through Varisia on the way to Ravenmoor, with some modifications, a PbE of RotRL (all three of these games have player overlap, which is fun), and, like a PbP whore, I just picked up a Tomb of Horrors game. Sue me--I was 9 at the time and too young to play it when it came out, so it's long overdue.
I'm really enjoying all of these games--I'd say 1/3 for the mechanics and story, and 2/3rds on the roleplay. Certainly this CoT game is shining right now.

I've got this one, the Reign of Winter game with Twigs and my homebrew PbP which is basically just the continuation of a home game that we shifted to the internet - Speaking of which, I need to get my players back onto it, since we'd forgotten about it for about a month.
Also my home game, which for which I am the DM. I'm always the DM for home games, because nobody else can run a continuous campaign for some reason.
We've never used minis in my homegame...
Hey, we totally have minis! They're just made of paper, is all...

Enko, I didn't realize you were in so many games! As for me, I'm a cleric in the Abaddon campaign Enko mentioned (I didn't realize daemons were so WEIRD). I don't know if the question applies to tabletop games too... I'm the GM for a weekly tabletop Carrion Crown campaign (we're almost 2/3rd through vol. 3, Broken Moon) and every 4-6 weeks I run a game for my son and four other 8 and 9 year olds (the campaign started at Keep on the Borderlands, then shifted into Crown of the Kobold King, then a homebrew bit in Almas, and now I'm thinking of running them through the From Shore to Sea module).

No kidding! I wanted to get my son's brain wired into roleplaying before he got exposed to too many video games. His friends all love it too, and ask to play more often. Proof of the enduring power of the old fashioned RPG.

I'm here! Just got super busy at work and spring weather hit around here at the same time (meaning lots of time outdoors with family, soccer games, etc...) Apologies for the delay.
Let's have everyone sound off just to make sure my laziness/busy-ness hasn't caused anyone to be lost by the wayside. :)
People-check, One-two One-two?

Sorry if I'm a complete space cadet this week (and maybe next). I'm trying to finish up the semester with finals and grading, along with the newborn and traveling between states.
Enko Laberan |
I don't have time to do all the rolls right now, but, Sabinus, if you get me or yourself to the mouth, I have 20' of rope in the form of a rope dart. We can pull people out, first a strong person, then that person can pull out the lower HP folks first.
SurplusRaine |
@Viscount - Unfortunately, you won't be able to deal any damage with your acid darts, because you can't wear down Energy Resistance (It ignores 10 points of damage each time it's dealt acid damage, just like Damage Reduction).
You're thinking of the Protection from Energy spell, which gives it a flat number of points it can ignore before expiring.
