With the inspiration, Brie you are able to get a hit into rock as you slice off a chunk.
Felix your spectral fist misses its mark as this creature dodges out of the way.
Magas you bite down again eating more dirt. Unfortunately this creature is immune to crits.
As Magas coughs up some dirt and continues to rips into the rock until it crumbles to dust.

From the chat I think only Magas was hurt? If Magas is now healed, do we continue moving? - - when we start to continue forward, I will recast heightened awareness from my wand, put it away. I will again carry my rod of reach in one hand the other hand free. Going near the back - cause I'm squishy.

Jang as you take the lead you see a scattering of bones that you would guess are the earth elemental previous victims. Among the bones lie 78 gp, 210 sp, 384 cp, a bag of tricks (gray), a figurine of wondrous power (silver raven), and a scroll of fireball (CL 7th). There is a spilt in the cavern that has lead to two sets of doors. Left or right? Which way do you go?

I'm at the back - - rod of reach in one hand. As mentioned, I recast heightened awareness before we start moving - - I will use the heightened awareness to add 4 to the initiative roll. That said I will continue to re-cast it every 10 minutes. I just need to know so I can mark it off.

A smoking pit of hot coals and ash lies in the center of this room. Barbed cells line the walls, and a huddled figure sits within the largest enclosure in the southwest corner. The whimpering is coming from that figure. The figure looks like a lumberjack just based his clothes and appearance. This is clearly a dungeon.

How big is the enclosure? Any chance we could see it on the map? It may be possible that I could create a pit under the enclosure, or part of it, and then we could get him out. I have a scroll with 5 castings of levitate. Cast levitate on him before creating the pit then help him out. Just a thought?

Felix you try to crack the lock with little success. This is a well made lock on the cell door.
The man calms at Jangs words. “I am part of the lumberjack consortium. We were doing work in the forest when these little goblin things with roots attacked us. They grab us and I woke up in this cell. There is a satyr in the next room. I heard him refer to himself as Jaxir and it sounds like he is asking questions of the area outside of the forest. He’s killed so many of my friends.That’s all I know about this place.”

Vomer will ask the Lumberjack his name, then explain how he will get him out. First I will cast levitate on you from a scroll, then I will create a pit under you and the cell wall. That way you can lower yourself below and under the cell wall to the outside. Vomer will then draw out a scroll of levitate and cast it on the lumberjack and ask him to raise himself just off the ground - like a foot or so. Once he is levitated slightly Vomer will cast create pit under him, part of the cell and partially outside the cell -- that way the lumberjack can now lower himself and then using the bottom of the cell wall pull himself under it. Once on the other side of the cell wall he can levitate up to ground level and then one of us can pull him over the ground outside the cell.

According to the spell the caster is the one who controls the person or object going up and down so.... I would have had to raise lower him. After he is out I will lower him to the ground and leave him there until the spell ends.... 8 minutes .... unless I decide to raise him if needed or just for fun. :) -- could tie a rope to him and make him a kite - - lol
