Who is "Makki"? Also two people didn't join the Roll20 game yet.
It's me. I joined and changed Display Name.

Just noticed that I urgently need to redo my skill selection.
Reason: my insinuator powers require frequent knowledge diplomacy or knowledge religion checks to propitiate outsiders that are not Neutral Evil. DC for these is currently 16 (will increase to 17, where it will then stay most likely). I would need to switch my skill points over from intimidate to diplomacy if that is permitted.
Oh, sorry! Forgot I needed to confirm this. Sure!

Vellexia the illustrious |

Suddenly, the party has a vision of a circus. Rorek is in the middle, in a sad clown getup and looks confused.
Aand now for an episode of Munchkin talk! Lets start with the worst offender, Rorek, how dirty do you feel about having a wand of lead blades, an Orc Butchering axe and Vital strike?
Vellexia appears in a showmasters outfit and nearly decapaciates Rorek with a wand of Clarrion Call.
You know? F+%@, I meant to keep this a secret!
As if you could have secrets from me! Now, the expected damage pro round of 61 on a standard action, assuming you hit with a +14, is indeed suprisingly not-small, given that it is coming from you, but can I tell you 3 jokes? She asks in a seductive purr.
Does it matter at all what I answer? Rorek answers.
Flyers! Vellexia holds out one finger
Concealment! Vellexia holds out a second finger
Mirror Image! She holds out a third thinger
You! She wiggles her tounge at him.
At least no disarms, sunder, fatigue effects or rust monsters Thinks Rorek
DISARMING, SUNDERING RUSTMONSTER WITH A FATIGUE AURA! Shouts Vellexia, clearly reading his mind. As a disarming sundering rustmonster ith a fatigue aura appears!
You cannot disarm on sunder on the same turn, because while sunder is done in place of a melee attack, disarm requires a CMB unless please not a mythic rust monster!!!... Also, that was 4 jokes!
Oh my, someone thinks his int score is enough to count to 3! Let me fix that As she approaches Rorek. Who immidialy tries to roadrunner away.
It is looking great though She announces, Rorek is the tankiest party member! Which means we will see him suffer!!! Wohooo! And even better, enemies will focus him because his Axe is dangerous! This will be entertaining!
Rorek the thricedamned, psychopatch b$~+~ magnet.
More rationally though, if a battle goes in a way where I can do my thing, my thing being walking up to someone and vital striking it in the face, then things are great. Rorek is pretty tough (14 extra thp while raging, 5d6 from lay on hands, still has OK AC while raging at 20-24), has good reach and his like a truck. He can swift action heal himself and dispell fatigue effects while he does that, which is pretty useful, and his saves, are decent to excellent. But well, anything in the spoiler works pretty well against him.
My progression will be Insinuator 4 than the rest in Bloodrager.
Insinuator 4 gives me a useful bonus combat feat (probably improved critical Orc butchering axe), and ups my Lay on Hands from 5x1d6 to 6x2d6 and gives me two smites per day.
I can smite any demon or devil as long as I propitiate Gozreh, which is good.

Adventure.
Apologies in advance, my posting the rest of the week until Saturday will be limited, and likely bland. Busy, busy and a touch stressed. But I'm here, should still be able to post.

Query: Can Vellexia, in character, speak to people who are not Rorek or Mendax?
Vellexia can tell Rorek to say things to the rest of the party, might in a pinch be able to use Sending to communicate a simple message, anything else and she'd have to be physically present. Which Mendax would not be cool with.

BugbearDM |

How succesfull is Rorek in conveying the idea that Vellexia is not neccessarily an improvement over Mendax?
And, while Alyushinnyrra is more *fun* then hell the joke is ultimately always on you?
That would depend on 1) the other party members and 2) your Charisma based skills (which, given that Charisma is your second highest stat, you probably don't have to worry about that).

BugbearDM |

Ups, yeah, replace Abbadon with Abyss, thought it was on the borderlands, would make a fair bit of sense for clashes to be in Abbadon though.
You're all somewhat near Abaddon. You're probably never going to end up there, but you might get to interact with some of the natives *wink wink*.

Rorek Thricedamned |

We can go with the bluff attempt, what could possible go wrong?
Also, pretend that one of us is a Demon pretending to be a mortal because thats currently "in".
If they dispute it, Rorek will claim that they have no concept of whats in vouge and demand trial by murder sense.

Garidan Hemlock |

Let's go with the flow.

Rorek Thricedamned |

My bluff is at 9, at I may go around a certain impersonate thing because there is a bluff I can believably pull.
Out of character, Rorek will pretend he is a Demon pretending to be mortal, because he lost a bet with Vellexia, which is perhaps made more believable becaus Rorek is known to be dead since his death was hilarious and public.

Guys, please accept my apologies for putting this PbP on the bottom of my to-do list of priorities. I'm confident I can keep up with Gameplay but I do have to acknowledge to myself and admit to my fellow gamers that there will be times when a few days keeps me away. Work, life, and other games -- and so it goes.
I will gladly follow whatever plan, but I think my proposal of pulling back into the Ptoma Forest and waiting for a contingent of their deforesters and lumberjacks comes our way -- to spy on them and try our gambit on them-- from the relative safety of 'far away' from the forest -- may be a good idea.
Trying to spy on the Fortress is risky. .... Getting into the Fortress by bluffing the mooks (leaving them behind us) and then bluffing the leaders with so little intel, is risky. And we can run away sure, but we don't have anywhere to run to.
The flaw in my plan of patience is we don't know how long the little Zebub has in the prison. Augury and Divination spells are our friend!

Tariq Vestgeir |

Hey guys! (you may have read this message in other games) I'm on a weird schedule until about May 12th. There will be days (today) when I can be very active on the PbP, but there will be days when I won't be able to post here. I'm fine, just real life. From May 11-12, I return to my usual daily routine. I should have written about it a week ago, but I hoped that I could post every day anyway - but no )) Sorry for any delays. Feel free to bot me btw.

LOL
Meanwhile, shattered at the revelation about Augury, DM Ray will now squeamishly run to his Friday night and Sunday afternoon gaming groups, tail between his legs, and sheepishly admit he learned Augury's limitations.
I hate it when that happens!

Things have been stressful this week and I was half paying attention, yes, but I honestly was waiting on the DM to describe the entrance and introduce an NPC for us to make our Bluff. I didn't think to just shout at the gate. Sorry. I'll try to pay more attention.

Understandable. I suppose I could have made that more clear.
