If you have a look at the cover art of the scenario that has the image of the train :)
All good - but getting onto the train isn't the complicated part, hence why there isn't a lot of crunch yet or need for a map (yet). The train is an unarmoured and unarmed bunch of carriages, so getting aboard should be a piece of cake, what happens after that will be the thrust of the story :)
When there is a new map or image I will call it out in the gameplay thread so you know to check.
@ExperimentalGM - mate just noticed you are a fellow VC, could I trouble you for a '5 Nova Rubric' review at the end of the scenario?
I'm 140 tables in and only have my first rubric done, my nearest VC is like 900km away :)

In essence you are all getting a Surprise round, but your and Barat's Surprise move actions (as I understand them) are jumping through the hatch - as opposed to Aramesh and LNA who will also be able to act, but are already inside the carriage in their desired locations.
Once you have had your move to 'drop bear' along with the flying squid monster, and LNA & Aramesh have fired, we move to initiative.
The poor Nuar will get their chance to respond in R1...

Depends on how you set it up - there's going to be a need for some sleight of hand most likely - just remember if you get caught it would probably have some pretty significant implications :)
An unconscious person (when they shouldn't be) could also draw a lot of unwanted attention.

Hey guys! I'm on a weird schedule until about May 12th. There will be days (today) when I can be very active on the PbP, but there will be days when I won't be able to post here. I'm fine, just real life. From May 11-12, I return to my usual daily routine. I hope I understood the mechanics correctly. A bit like Blades in the Dark. There you can describe your preparation process, which happened a lot before the operation. In principle, I did not see here in the description that the flashback events only on this day of the train robbery.
You are correct on both observations - you are describing your preparation ahead of the heist, and there is no time limit, Aramesh might have organised all sorts of cover identities prior to this :)

Yeah i was wondering if i should not pay dumb and say that we were drinking in the train cart, but...
I suggested the plan and heard no alternatives, it seemed bald and ballsy, on the similar note i hope to throw all of the guilt on the other thief as i don't like that dude.

@Shifty thanks for running the game I loved it! Great one-shot scenario, I really enjoyed it.
Just for completeness, if you went the action movie route you had the option to either get a car and use the vehicle chase mechanics to try flee, or you could get a small mecha and try fight your way out.
The fight scene makes the least sense, given that the party is supposed to be smooth, not violent.
Also there is the potential to trigger another small combat after the enercopter crashes and you head back to the other carriage, but the trigger conditions don't make sense, can be easily avoided, and actually ruins the flow of the mod.
It's otherwise a good scenario and I have now run it five times.
