He nods at Isaku. "Let's go. The faster se find where they came from, the faster the goblins are safe." The medic seems quite angry as his lack of ability to help the goblins.

Everyone follows Isaku as he tracks what is left by the feline creatures you just encountered. You find yourselves in a damp, dark, and musty lair. See MAP.
You hear a voice coming from inside the lair but you can't see yet who or what is the source of the voice.
”Hmmm... Not my leopards. Smell of humans. Ahhh, distinctive smell of goblin, tasty, I will take your head. Hmm, I don't recognize the others, but it doesn't matter. I will add you bones in the heap I already have here. It seems you have defeated my minions, such a waste. Maybe I could look for more and better animals to control.” the voice muses with its thoughts of creating a kingdom. ”Well, what brings you here except for your deathbed?” the voice asks.

"And those poor cats!" adds in an indignant Slipp.
"You are responsible for their deaths too." And then after a moment adds
"What heap?"

"If you are responsible for all this carnage, then we will put an end to your reign of terror!" Isaku growls, drawing his pistol.

"Problem? No, not a problem. I just find them, or you, as lesser beings, not worthy to live. You see, I find myself an awareness, or should I say, self-conciousness(?) after a wizard made experiment upon me. Having learned of myself and my kind as I travel, I begin to study magic when there is opportunity. But why stop there? Why not awaken the others by myself? Yes, you see now those leopards. And what a perfect timing those goblins begin to build a bridge, why not experiment on them my minions' strength? After all, goblins are just little puny creatures. Unfortunate for the leopards they are too weak for me." the voice explains. "But now you are here, why not add you all too in these heap of goblin heads and bones? I will begin by tearing your flesh from your bones!" the voice says with finality. And you perceive some movement somewhere, either by sight or hearing.

Desmond finds himself in the odd position of being in the lead. He is concerned about wounded or dying goblins in the cave, so he tries to sneak forward using the rocks to hide behind. He tries to scan for any sign of wounded.

Desmond rushes around the stone, intending to use the combat as a distraction to find any hurt victims. However, once he steps out, he sees the lion attack Zror. The half-orc's eyes do wide as he sees more goblin blood being spilled. "No! Why do you hurt goblins so much! You don't even eat them!"

Zror manages to block Keff's attack, grazing its claws into his steel shield. Zror raises shield and retaliates, striking twice but only the second one makes it through. Desmond flanks Keff, angryily kicking the lion with his reinforced boots into the lion's butts, in which it yelps in pain by surprise. Isaku throws a knife but just goes overhead the lion. Rafe makes his way beside the lion to flank as well, whereas Tarkii summons another corpse that punches the lion into its face squarely.
Keff, being surrounded, begins to claw randomly on them.

Roxz flanks while Zror strikes with his longsword but it misses. He raises his shield after. Rafe knocks one of Keff's knees with his kopesh and the lion falls to the ground. He seems he is beyond help now. Not only that, Keff gets hit with the kopesh again, but not with the shield. Isaku, on the other hand, flies a bullet through its head. The lion stops moving as it tries to get out everyone of his way, and his head falls to the ground with his tongue out. Isaku throws a knife into the lion to make sure it's dead.

With Keff gone, you begin to search the place. You find the feline’s lair is filled with the bodies of goblins and other creatures that have been killed by the group of felines. A variety of odds and ends can be found among the fallen, including 36 gp in assorted coins. You return to Yigrig and report what happened. Now that the hostilities are ended, the bridge is completed and he rewards you with a sack of gold.
