Let's talk out-of-character stuff here.

I've played this before as well... Hi Tarkii! No Init modifier of 6.5 in the macros now... :)
| GM Frost |
Hello, everyone! GM Frost here. Thank you for joining in on this game with me and welcome to GM Frost's Lions of Katapesh [Outpost V] PbP Game. As we start, kindly fill up the Macros for the secret checks and Slides for your character information and tokens. Kindly update the RPG Chronicles to sign up for the game and if you need some changes to make. The links are posted just above the game thread.
Here are some rules:
1. Please post at least once a day every day and at least once during the weekend. If you are absent for 24 hours, especially during combat, I will simply place your character on infinite delay just to keep things moving. If you're missing for 36 hours I'll mark you inactive and your Player Character (PC) will simply delay and that's not fun! For your information, I am based in Southeast Asia (UTC+8) so my posting hours may be unusual (especially for those in North America & Europe). I usually update at least once or twice per day.
2. Under your name, please add a stat block, so I can quickly find your stats and keep the game moving. You can edit your character's Race, Class/Levels and Gender fields to include information such as Hit Points (HP), Armor Class (AC), Saving Throws (Fortitude, Reflex, Will), Perception Bonus, etc.
3. Pathfinder 2e has a lot of secret rolls the GM is supposed to make for the players, so the PCs can't react to a bad roll. Any skill with the Secret tag should be rolled privately. If I show the DC, feel free to make the roll openly. Otherwise, there are two ways to do this in my games:
- You can say which skill and which bonus you want to apply. (Example: "I use Occultism +5 to investigate the skull's mystic origin.")
- Or you can spoiler your dice roll and everyone sticks to the honor system of not opening it.
4. As we play the game, I would like to remind everyone that as per the Organized Play Foundation Community Standards and Expectations, it reads:
No Character-versus-Character Combat
In keeping with the “Explore, Report, Cooperate” motto of the Pathfinder Society, engaging in non-consensual character-versus-character conflict is prohibited. While accidental friendly fire happens due to missed attack rolls or other factors, players must obtain the consent of other players before deliberately including fellow PCs in damaging effects [emphasis mine]. Engaging in character-versus-character conflict will award Infamy points and may render a character unplayable. This rule does not apply in situations where a character is not acting of their own free will, such as if they’re being mind-controlled by an NPC and forced to attack a fellow Pathfinder.
You can click the links to read more about the Organized Play Foundation Community Standards and Expectations and the Paizo Organized Play Code of Conduct.
If you have questions or concerns, feel free to share them here in the Discussion tab. Let's have some fun and tell a great story together! After all, that's what we are here for.

Yup, Tarkii retrained, and that didn't actually work in the paizo dice roller anyway.
Yes... It practically guaranteed you initiative because it ignored the decimal point :)

friendly fire ok as long as I'm not dying or in danger of same.
Desmond Vilks
|
Desmond is finished with his scenario and I will try to level him this weekend. He's a real Medic now!
I'm ok with friendly fire as long as Des isn't dying.
Isaku Beru

Ah Desmond! Zhamie shared some good things about you. I hope your treatment methods aren't as painful as hers!
| GM Frost |
Hello, everyone! I would like to remind everyone to fill up the necessary information on the RPG Chronicles, Macros and Slides before we start the game, which will be on March 6, 2022. The links are displayed above. Thank you!
It seems Tarkii and Callistos have not dotted in yet. I will try to find them.
Tarkii

I'm here and have previously posted in discussion, Even filled out RPG chronicles and the slides etc.
I've now dooted in on the gameplay thread so you should see me there now.
| GM Frost |
Oh. Yes, I did not notice, I'm sorry. Thank you. We will begin the game soon.
Isaku Beru
|
Out of curiosity, how do you track these things?
Tarkii
|
I bookmark each campaign page and put them in a folder. I also use an RSS aggregator to track new posts. If I just have a few posts I open them all in new tabs from the RSS. If I have a bunch of posts I open the folder with all my games, getting me a tab for each one. I then work through the tabs etc.
If there are only posts in 1 category I just open it. If I have discussion and gameplay, I open the gameplay in a new tab, and open discussion in the current tab.
So when I got to my computer this morning I see 25 new posts on my little RSS icon. If it was only a few posts I'd just open all tabs from there and then work my way through it. 25 is a bit much though so I go to my book marks where I have each campaign page bookmarked, I work through those opening and Gameplay or Discussion links with new posts listed.
| GM Frost |
Okay then. Please fill up thr RPG Chronicles, Macros and Slides linked above the thread when you can. Thank you!

Starting tonight, I will be away at a in person convention this weekend. I am running 6 of the 8 slots, and playing in the other 2. So I will not have a lot of time to post, but will try from my phone.

| GM Frost |
I will bot you if I find it necessary to keep things moving. And have fun!

Now that we're stacked up behind Desmond, I'm half expecting to hear "Breaching! Breaching!" followed by orders to "Get down! police!"
| GM Frost |
You can roll your downtime if like it to be added in your chronicle sheet.

Isaku decides to give a talk on the history of the Pathfinder Society.
PFS Lore, Downtime: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13
Unfortunately, he brings the wrong set of slides and it flops. 8 cp.

Don't mind me, just rolling.
Academia Lore: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10

Here are your chronicle sheets. This game will be reported for Outpost V. Thank you for playing the game!
