Kosigan changes its array to the holographic sashimono, displaying a "Welcome home!" message as it assists the prisoners in disembarking from the shuttle. <Primary and secondary mission objectives completed. The robots have been neutralized, the ship is yours, and we have rescued the Pact World prisoners.> It then escorts Zigvigix out, giving Ixthia et al. an opportunity to be appropriately shocked. <Including one sorely missed VIP.>

Opening her eyes, Yarameh sees a fallen super robot. I think I missed part of the party. I remember I had this a couple of times in my youth when I was too pumped up with orc beer...

To be honest, I thought that maybe they would put us all in death here. Definitely a great battle, thanks all and especially GM!

Exo-Guardians

When the final robot falls, Chk'tarlsh doubles over, hands on knees. Unsteady on his feet and breathing hard, the shirren shuffles over to reclaim his laser rifle from the floor. "Thinhksh looked grim for a moment then. Well fought."

Despite obvious injury and fatigue, he agrees with the assesment to keep moving. As the party secures the ship and inactivates the bot forces, he insists on aiding the extraction of the prisoners.

Once aboard the Starfinder flagship, Chk'tarlsh is appreciative of the much needed medical attention and looks somewhat recovered when they gather for debriefing.

I wasn't sure we were all making it out of that one. Nicely done all.

Nomoline checks each of the prisoners as they are released from their cells and offers up a few channels so that everyone is feeling much better when the shuttle arrives.

Nomoline seems content to let the other starfinders report the events of the mission, but thanks them each for their efforts once the meeting is adjourned.

You get debriefed on the way back to Absalom station, recovering from your wounds as you do so. Once back you travel with Ixthia, Zigvigix and the other rescued starfinders on one of the first shuttles back into the station proper. A quick train trip has you back in the Lorespire complex.

Zigvigix is the last to disembark the train that carried the recovered Starfinders, along with their rescuers, from Absalom Station’s docks to the Lorespire Complex. Weary and in obvious pain, the shirren nevertheless smiles as they gaze upon the familiar sight. Before they can speak, there’s an audible gasp as a figure in a black coat rushes forward. Celita, her hair a streak of vivid blue, envelops Zigvigix in a powerful hug, nearly knocking them over. Several minutes pass without either speaking aloud, any conversation between them kept private via the shirren’s telepathy. Finally, the android releases her embrace and turns to Zigvigix’s rescuers.

Thank you. I thought…I…” Zigvigix places a hand on her shoulder as she struggles for words, and it’s as if a mountain of worry, carefully concealed by the normally stoic android, sloughs away. She smiles and puts an arm around Zigvigix, supporting them as the pair walk, together, into the Lorespire Complex.

Are they a couple? Seriously? It's soooo cute. Why didn't anyone tell me? - Yarameh asks in a whisper, elbowing her neighbor and smiling.

And you through it was a wrap...

Without warning a blaring alarm sounds, followed by shouts and the sound of hurried footsteps from within the Lorespire Complex. Through it all, a wordless, agonized psychic scream slices through your thoughts.

Zigvigix staggers back out of the Lorespire Complex, a host of worried Starfinders sprinting to catch up to them. All of their cybernetics have been torn from their body, and they’re covered in fresh injuries. They rip the final augmentation from their own leg with a shudder. Inside, an automated voice announces:

Warning. Malware detected. Main server compromised. Initiating forced reboot of Guidance. Progress 1%...2%...

Cybernetics—corrupted. I—I’m sorry,” Zigvigix groans before
collapsing in the doorway. “Ziggy!” Celita screams, catching them before they hit the ground. She hoists their body in both arms and turns her eyes to the sky, tears streaming down her face.

Estimated time to forced reboot: approximately 75 minutes.

Kosigan, its telepathic senses open to enjoy the emotions from the successful mission, doubles over as Ziggy's shout echoes through their minds. <Zigvigix? Are you well? What's...>

It pauses as Celita tends to the shirren and the announcement blares. <Rebooting Guidance? That can't be good. But I do know someone who is at the data center now.> It pulls out a datapad and sends a text message. Almost immediately, a computerized voice responds, "K.I.N.A.A. is currently offline."

<Beetles and blazes! Looks like the job isn't over.> It turns to Celita, wondering if she will be able to respond to this emergency.
