In rebuttal, the wounded leopard beside the column pounces upon Alaric as he nears. The great cat sinks his fangs into the Hellknight, finding a gap in his armor. The second leopard also pounces, but Alaric is able to fend that one off. However, he moves around to use his brother as a distraction and grabs hold of the oracle's leg in his mouth, crushing the vambrace and holding on tight.

Even though infernal fire explodes beside Alaric as the leopard bites into him, the great cat twists and rolls out of the way with incredible grace (critical success).

Francine grazes the leopard holding onto Alaric's leg with her fancy knife throwing. Dyner tries to electrocute the cats, but they manage to avoid some of the crackling energy. The cats seem disinclined to flee from these home invaders.

Kondai charges in and slams his blazing fist into the leopard's back. The strike leaves a patch hairless and badly burned, but it is not enough to kill the predator.

Samna releases a flurry of metal stars, but only one of them grazes the leopard clutching tightly to the Hellknight.

Jaxon hustles forward and knocks out the leopard holding onto Alaric's leg. The cat falls to the ground, smoldering within the cursed air. He is not as intimidating as he hopes to be, though.

"Take out the fire wizard," the lion says and then waits for the leopard to dash around Alaric to pounce upon Kondai. The great cat's teeth dig deep into Kondai's shoulder (critical hit) and hold on tight. He rakes at his prey, but his claws catch on a buckle on the magus' armor.

Then the giant lion pounces upon Alaric, but his jaws clamp shut upon empty air. Then he speaks a string of eldritch words and brilliant light erupts out of his mouth, threatening to blind Alaric, Kondai, and Jaxon.

ugh, was just crit to almost down in my other game as well. Just checked this out, teleport effects do NOT have the move tag, so you can teleport out of grapples. And dimensional assault does NOT have the manipulate trait, so no flat check. When he teleports he will punch a random square in case there is an invisible enemy as he has to attack after dim assault.

Blinded and stunned, Knondai teleports out of the grapple and then stumbles back.

Can someone move me, on my phone.

Jaxon shields his eyes from the blast of light, then blinks several times. Things were a bit blurry, but he could still see. He steps over and grabs at the smaller were-leopard. Once he has a fist full of fur, he tries to punch it in the head. "Hey! I got me a were-kitty! I'll hold 'em while you wreck 'em!"

Dyner, a bit unsure about what to do, decides to use up her last damaging spell she has prepared. She traces a magic circle with a claw in the air as she chants something in Hallit about water and waves.

The spell circle falters for a second, before she realizes she messed up and didn't finish the circle. With a quick gesture she completes the circle as a torrent of water washes out from it and over the were-lion.

She then raises a claw and draws a different circle with a single word that roughly translate to 'steam' that rapidly heats the water into burning vapors in mere seconds, effectively blanching the cat and leaving it even more vulnerable to burns in the future. "Hit the kitty with fire! It's going to burn extra well now!"

Kondai speaks a word of power and disappears from the leopard's grasp. He reappears next to an ally and stumbles away.

Jaxon moves up to the remaining leopard and uses the animal's tactic against it, in a sense. He grabs hold of the great cat around the neck, but his prey is feisty. The bucking makes it hard to land a punch with much force.

Dyner summons a gout of water and manages to force the giant lion back a step. She then curses him with fire's betrayal.

Jaxon holds tight while the leopard struggles. Frustrated, the cat begins to rake at his captor, but the claws do not penetrate the ruffian's armor.

The lion pounces past Dyner and then turns to snap at her from behind, but the great cat is too frustrated by his anger to catch the Tengu. He growls a series of eldritch sounding words, and then electricity arcs between Dyner and Kondai.

Dyner puts the fight back in Kondai with a glowing ball of salt in his wounds.

"Help me finish this one!" the lion king growls.

Free of Jaxon's hold but badly bloodied, the leopard dashes past the ruffian and the Hellknight to pounce on Dyner. The hunting cat sinks his teeth deep into the tengu and nearly bowls her over (critical). He holds on tight and tries to rake her with his hind claws, but she is able to fend the paws off for the moment.

"I'll finish her off," the lion growls before speaking arcane words and summoning lightning that arcs between Dyner and Kondai. Alive or dead, the giant lion breaks away from her and pounces on Kondai, but the abrasive magus manages to fend off the dagger-like fangs.
