GM Rutseg wrote: Note your class feature just brings you back an animal companion by free after a week of mourning. The exact process is not defined. Let's just say the gods brought back from death your loyal companion to help Athelstan accomplish his rightful goals. So no reason to charge anyone with costly gold handicaps. Sadly disagree. Taking to PMs.

It depends on what the source of the Animal Companion is. If I recall correctly, Paladins get them back for free (though they have only their bonus tricks trained, and John Compton clarified to me at a con one time that you can't train them in more tricks until *after* you play another scenario, so that's sort of a nuisance) but other classes do have to pay. Athelstan's profile doesn't actually indicate what class(es) he has or what the source of his mount is so it's hard to know without more info.
That said, if there is a cost to be borne in raising Duncan, Dawa is happy to contribute.

Thanks for running, GM! An exciting adventure that definitely felt tough at times!

I will wait a few days before marking the campaign as completed to make sure everyone manages to notice the chronicles are up.
Thanks everyone for playing, it was an interesting game! :)

Sorithar would chip in as well. Just let me know how much it is and I'll take it off the chronicle.
Please rolling with you lot. Thank you for running and moderating @GM Rutseg, a pleasure, well done!
Just read the synopsis for The Waking Rune, which I assume some of you are referring to and it sounds exciting, would look forward to running through that some time, maybe after Sorithar hits 11th.

If anyone wants to confirm the amount they're spending, you can do so either in this thread or via PM. If I don't hear anything for a week, I'll assume 575gp.

It's a fitting challenge and end to the season 4 metaplot. My own wizard had it as his final adventure before hitting 12th.
Thanks for running this, and thanks for everyone else that played.
It was interesting. Unfairly balanced, yes, but everyone came together well for that.
For faction card purposes:
Would you consider the runeplates to be a "named text"?

I will confirm that I am spending 575 GP.

That completes his season7 faction card.

Sorry to post so late - I was on vacation. Dawa is also happy to chip in 575 gp for the raising of Duncan.
