Pretty sure that White Rose is going to be The Distraction™ later in this scenario.

We need the crypts right? I THINK white rose if you can convince them to show us where it is I can maybe get us in or get a look at it

I don't know how high a Diplomacy check I need to get them to violate their values.

I hate to split the party, but Goe Lem is NOT sneaky. However, Serata and White Rose could say they are going back to copy documents, while the rest of us keep our guide busy.

If we can get a moment unobserved, I can cast Hide from Undead on any (up to 5) going into the crypts. Will last for 50 minutes.

Unless thwy have a way to dispel darkness as we leave or at the crypt door we might be able to sneak away

Are you REALLY and TRULY sure you want to split the party like that. Totally meta-gaming here, but with the briefing and hints, there is almost certainly guards and/or undead in there.

Just so there are no hurt feelings, I would like a positive statement from the sneaky people that "Yes, I want to go in without full party backup."

It is a suggestion, if I can say yes no full party it would ve a meta game answer, serata is good but not great at getting informatiob like that, I mentioned it as one option and not one that was ment for engaging in combat

I've been in other PbP games where someone wasn't paying real close attention to the planning. Then they got really PO'd when suddenly realizing they were doing something dangerous without support. Everyone was mad at someone else and the group almost broke up over the whole thing. Don't want to see anything like that again.

I understand what you are saying and I have seen it happen as well, but also have to figure its not always best to group move also, your rogue is a shadow rogue, controls darkness and works her way around. The bit of help she can do for the is letting them move in cover of darkness, and sneak in to get the rubbings

Sorry for the slow posting folks. RL has been kicking my butt lately. Work has been rough and my Dad has a bad case of Covid. I will try to do better, but no promises.

D'oh! Piotr's perception is +11. I'm using his "Piercing the Veil" boon for this scenario and totally forgot.
(+1 Perception & Sense Motive checks and +1 Will saves vs. illusions for entire scenario).

For the record, I won't edit posts with die rolls anymore. If I need to reroll or roll for a crit confirm and damage, it will be in a new post.

@GM, My original Religion check failed (badly) and my second attack was a crit. The rolls changed when I edited the post to do a reroll on Will save. Only those rolls stayed correct (the original will save & the reroll). I guess nevermind. It is what it is.

Hey folks, sorry I vanished on you. I had a bad case of very resistant pneumonia. My various meds started interacting and things spiraled pretty far. I'm back home and sorta working, but I think I will stay out of PbP for a while. At least until I more fully recover. Maybe we will meet again in the future. Again, sorry to go AWOL on you.
