Shouts through the door, you hear the serpent say “What?!?”
“Pretender!”
“Only I am the true Bun the Black, spirit of the great Bunkatsu river!”
In a much quieter voice, you hear the same creature ask “How would you like a contract on that pretender? Bring back the ears as proof, you will get your raise!”
It does not seem any of them are coming through the door immediately.
I now have notes on three out of three villains. Might want to stall once one of you opens the door.

Professor Bun Bun QTE is the inspiration for this character.

Eddie looks back and forth between the door and Bun, wondering what to do, and what exactly made Bun so mad! "So.. now what?"
[ooc]I didn't mean to throw things off the rails, and Eddie totally is not the one to take the lead on any combat decisions! Best they can do is summon something to explode in a ball of fire..

Sal'era, get ready. Hopefully they bunched up near the door. Jiggo thinks, knowing Sal'era will get the gist.
Sure, I'll take the brunt. Veiled Lady seems to be able to protect others. Sal'era shrugs. And Jiggs, we're linked telepathically. I "get the gist."

The Veiled Lady raises her shield and gets ready to attack if someone comes for her.
Soddy opens the door to see that the halfling and the naginata are both doing a horrible job of hiding. She can’t see the dragon from her position.
Two stealth checks, the highest was a 10.
She lobs an alchemical fire at the halfling, but it hits the wall and only splashes them.
Nothing is in reach of Sal’era.
Bun Helsing waits for something to come through the door.
Bun the Black says “Bah! Hiding like that will not save you.”
He swims over between the docked boats and then spits a god of viscous acid through the door all the way to the other side of the room where Bun Helsing and Eddie are hiding behind a table.

Both doors are open.
Bun Helsing makes the save because of cover from the table.
Bun Helsing avoids the worst of the acid.
Sal’era recalls a few religious phrases that seem to have effect on the haunt.
Her attempt to intimidate Bun the Black is completely ignored by the creature. The sword says to her “Are you pouting? I hope that wasn’t mean to be scary!”
Jiggo figures out that although the sword is an object, since there is a spirit animating it Spirit damage should be effective against it. It would still have the other immunities common to objects. He also realizes this is probably the thing that has Sakura so enraged.

It does say “How disrespectful! I am the weapon of a god and you throw random sticky threads at me? Don’t you realize who I am?!?”
Yeah, this sword definitely has an ego.

Suddenly seeing Bun the Black in his face, and seeing his stuffing sticking out of him, Bun wonders if he's bitten off more than he could chew.
"My, but you're a thlimy thing..." he says. He crawls away from the other Bun and pulls out a healing potion.

Bun the Black sucks in his breath only to realize that he doesn’t have enough mucus to spit it out again.
Bun the Black looks at Eddie and says “You’re turn to experience the awesome might of Bun the Black!”
It is a flurry of fang and tail attacks against Eddie, but none of them connect.

Zot!
After drinking a healing potion much too close to its expiration date, Bun pulls out a bottle of lightning. His throw is perfectly on target. Bun the Black’s serpent coils contract suddenly.
The bottle also splashes Eddie and Jiggo for minimal damage.

Eddie closes their eyes as the attacks come fast and furious. They feel some bumps and pokes, but when they open their eyes everything seems to be still attached. "Woah!" They grip their staff tightly and nod to themselves.
Eddie ◆ grips their staff in both hands and swings with all their shroomy might at Bun the Black.

The swings are overly dramatic but weak and poorly aimed.. its no wonder they never swing that thing.
