Lokoloko
|
Lokoloko sprints up to the cauldron and begins figuring out how to turn it off. Though he would rather burn his enemies, he also knows that harming his friends isn't a good idea.

Desmond looks in horror as the rockswarm pulls Garrace down and pummels him. "Hey! That's hurting him! I'm going to have to fix that! Stop hurting him!" He drops into a lower stance and then repeatedly kicks at the rocks surrounding the Lastwall survivor with his boots. He raises his shield in case the rocks come after him next.

Drazzel the Magnificent

Drazzel runs up to the cauldron after Lokoloko and Kito. With deft hands, he tries to shift the runic symbols in the correct order.
"Lessa try movin' this one over here."

Desmond drops into a low stance as he begins to kick small stones off of Garrace. Each stone kicked is definitely going to break a toe and feeling that later. Resistance 6 to your flurry attack.
Kito, Drazzel, and Lokoloko all rush to the cauldron. It takes a concerted effort from all three to set the runes right. Immediately cobblestones cease to multiply as the cauldron is fixed.

"We's gotta helps our friends!"
He shouts as he points at the warriors fighting the living stones.

"What sort of stone devilry is this?!" Garrace cries as the stones pummel him and bring him to the ground.
He struggled to get free.

Dinardin is up. If nothing by this evening then I will GMPC.

Apologies for my absence. Been an interesting couple of days.
Dinardin holds aloft his halberd and shouts a prayer to Iomedae, then strikes at the cobbleswarm!

Dinardin olds his halberd up and swipes it across the cobbleswarm, trying to knock as many stones off of Garrace as possible. It is able to cleave through a couple of the stones but ends up dulling his blade. Resistance.
The cobble swarm rolls and twists over Garrace's body, bludgeoning and bruising his skin.

You are still up and conscious Garrace. You have only taken 15 damage total.

Lokoloko pulls a vial from his bandolier and throws it at a spot short of the Cobbleswarm. He hopes to use the splash damage against the magical creature. He also wants to prevent hurting Garrace.

Garrace's body aches under the assault. He considers calling upon the healing power of Iomadae, then mutters, "[smaller]You ignored my pleas to keep my allies alive in Lastwall, I will not waste my precious breath now."

Garrace smashes his shield around at the rocks, his first swing tossing a few of the flesh-eating stones into the woods. You second attack missed as while you are prone you suffer a -2 penalty to attacks.
Lokoloko slams a couple vials into the ground. They explode and splash all over the cobbleswarm and Garrace. The alchemist's fire seems to be very effective as it scorches the stones.
Drazzel magcal picks up a very large stone. It cracks against the cobbleswarm, breaking apart the remainder of the stones as it falls still once more.
Upon returning to her cottage with the meat for the stew, Kupyn is initially shocked at the mess "What happened here!?"

"When we's show up with stew ingredients, we notice cauldron was acting crazy. We's discover magic symbols were out of whack and caused pot to create stone monsters."
"We's fix it, though!"
He says proudly.

Kupyn seems surprised and even a bit embarrassed at having messed up the runes. "Oh no! Thank you for helping fix that. That would have been awful!"
Upon hearing what happened at Kupyn’s cottage, everyone in Scallion’s Wrap comes to help her rebuild and make rock stew in a show of Winter Week spirit,
even without the magic cauldron. As a reward for saving the town, you each receive your payment, along with a generous helping of rock stew.
That is the end of this Bounty. I will have this reported and chronicles completed this evening when I am able to get back to my home PC. I hope you all had fun and please feel free to continue roleplaying as much as you wish to.

Desmond drops his medic kit and kicks off his heavy boots. He sits down at one of the festival tables and heartily begins slurping his rock stew. "Oh, this is pretty good. The scallions add a good flavor to it." He toasts the odd witch with his spoon.
