I'm going to try to run Grehunde's Gorget in the second half of Gameday (so starting after this one on October 10th) if anyone needs another quest. Sign up here

![]() |

I would, but unfortunately its not repeatable as far as I am aware.

![]() |

Unfortunately, it's not. The only quests that are repeatable are The Sandstone Secret, Port Peril Pub Crawl, and Wayfinder Origins.

![]() |

I've swapped out Klank for Eddie here. Klank needed another full scenario of xp to level up and Eddie needs some love.
Who doesn't love mushrooms?

Who doesn't love mushrooms?
I've heard some people don't like the texture.
Asketell is just a good Ulfen lad, punching his way across the Inner Seas as he searches every tap house and tavern he can find for the secret of making the perfect ale.

Will likely finish in about 2-3 weeks (with posts once a day on average).
My own PbP combat style is to try and respect initiative order in resolving actions rather than just simple posting order (unless the sequence of events would benefit significantly otherwise). I'll roll initiatives at the start and some saves (or opportunity attacks) if I think they will affect my further actions in the turn to keep things moving. If you wish to delay on purpose, let me know, don't just wait on me. I will usually only update the combat narrative when everyone who can go has gone.
Make sure you roll for your actions in the order they occur in your turn. (Requested saves first...)
Make sure you keep your tagline updated with the current value for your Saves, Perception, Initiative, and Armor Class, considering your spells cast. Treat it as your verbal response if I were to ask you what the value was in a face to face game, because that is how I'll treat it. But don't worry about conditional modifiers like cover or prone, I'll handle that stuff.
I will try to keep track of everyone's ongoing buffs in the combat tracker during combats and will also show you enemy conditions (and heights, if they are flying), so we are all on the same page. Let me know if I missed something.
Feel free to ask about anything in the discussion threads or if you think I've ruled incorrectly or just made a mistake. You likely know your character better than I will. I'll make corrections as necessary, but I think we all know there are still some rules that are up to the GM's discretion. I try to rule by RAW for PFS, and stick to written tactics unless they are obviously illogical as the combat progresses.
Also, let me know if you need to take a short break from the game for any reason.

Just waiting to hear back from the 6th player, but we will soldier on. Won't affect the subtier, just the challenge points for now.

![]() |

You all have a hero point to begin the adventure. If there are any others available, feel free to distribute.

I think now is a great time to find out just what we have for healing ability in the group after that huge pile of falling damage.
Eddie is a druid, but doesn't normally prepare the heal spell. He does take a heal scroll as his PFS freebie. He also has the goodberry focus spell which is good but takes 10mins to refocus each time after he uses it. He also can treat wounds with nature, again, at 10 minutes an attempt.
Anyone else have the heal spell? Just looking to see the most efficient way to fix up so much group damage without burning time, since that's important here.

![]() |

I heard that Quests now don't give any freebies. Not sure if that's true or not.
Landitho does have Soothe and can upcast it if needed.

![]() |

I admit I don't know that one way or another. I learned the PFS rules when 2e went live then haven't played much in a while and am learning about changes lately...

![]() |

I heard that Quests now don't give any freebies
That does seem to be what the Guide suggests.

![]() |

Hrm, had I known that I would have prepared a heal spell. Is it acceptable for me to swap out my shocking grasp for that spent heal?

![]() |

Landitho can also use Soothe one last time (or cast it at 2nd level) if you want instead.
Actually, I'll go ahead and do that.

![]() |

@Eddie Probably should keep the shocking grasp (you may need it later) but if you want to I'll allow it. I'd also let you purchase a scroll of heal in camp if you wanted (4 gp I believe). Looks like Landitho is soothing the worst of it for everyone.

Ok, I'll purchase the scroll and use it, saving some soothes from Landitho.
The 8hp group heal stands so please adjust casts/hp. Thanks

![]() |

Ya I also have options for healing with my focus and heal checks, but in the spirit of saving time, since this seems to be a time sensitive mission, I'm hoping to avoid that. If we have another pile of damage come through we'll need to spend at least 10 minutes for that.

With the duergars dropping like flies, we are nearly done!
Make sure your player and character information is correct above and feel free to roll your earn income (or other downtime rolls) here for posterity. I will let you record the results of those on your chronicles yourself.

![]() |

Herb Lore: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 = 14
Eddie tries to sell off a few extra herbs to the encampment outside of the caverns. "Yes, some of these will make you see funny things if that is what you're hoping for. They must be eaten fresh or dried, composted does not work." The look slightly defeated at the last bit of the statement.

![]() |

Perform: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (8) + 13 = 21
Landitho joins in the Absalom Symphony, first chair violin. The pay isn't great, but it's better than nothing..

![]() |

Morrin catalogues found treasure from duergars and pays agents their earnings.
Accounting lore: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23

![]() |

Asketell finds some mushrooms in the Darklands and experiments with fermenting them into liquor.
Lore-Alcohol: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9
Sadly, the results are not very promising.

A little swamped at work, so I'll report this and get the chronicles out by late tomorrow. Check back here.
Feel free to role-play your way out of the adventure if you wish and I will close this game up in a few days.
If you are playing Grehunde's Gorget with me, we will begin on or around October 10th.
Thank you all for playing and sweating through all the persistent damage. Best of luck in your future adventures!

![]() |

Okay, the game is reported to the Gameday overseers and your chronicles are here. Let me know if there are any issues.
Cheers all!

![]() |

Looks good, thanks for the game. Glad we didn't all die!
Do you happen to know off the top of your head how much down time we get for a quest? Adding in my level boost I guess I hit DC15. I'm not super versed in the downtime stuff yet.

![]() |

You get 2 days instead of the normal 8. Here is the table you can use to see what you earn.

1s, thanks Erich for organizing and running the fun.
Thanks everyone else for being part of the fun!
