Awesome GMing. Please ping me anytime you are looking for players.
Also, would Ulrich have been considered a captive of the Reaver?

I don't suppose the helmet has any tie to the elements? Probably spending 1 PP to check a box on the faction journal card, but if I can check a box for free, you will get to hear the comedy stylings of a paladin.
This was a great game. I hope everyone enjoyed their delve into the wonders of Google Translate with obscure languages. Especially thanks to Nowruz for running!
The helmet has no connection to the elements unfortunately. :-(

Chronicle looks good (though I kind of wish I could read what would have happened to me if I didn't get the restoration).
Yeah, the over-marking out of boons is a weird habit I've seen around.

Argent Allies of the Burning Sun (Silver Crusade): Mahja Firehair’s Burning Sun tribe consists primarily of orcs seeking to abandon the evil traditions common to the orcs of Belkzen, and many of its members are worshippers of Sarenrae like their chieftain. By sparing and healing the orc Uirch, you have created a bond that could lead to future alliances between the Silver Crusade and the Burning Suns. You can purchase or craft war spirit pouches (Pathfinder RPG Advanced Race Guide 141) as though they were approved items on the Additional Resources list. You must bring a copy of the Advanced Race Guide to all sessions in which this boon is used (including any session wherein you intend to use a previously purchased war spirit pouch.)
In addition, you gain a +2 circumstance bonus on all Diplomacy checks made when interacting with orcs from the Burning Sun tribe and a +1 circumstance bonus on all Intimidate checks made against all other orcs.
Lost Limb ( ▫ Arm; ▫ Leg): You did not escape your encounter with the reaver of Roslar’s Coffer unscathed. Check the box next to this boon corresponding with the limb that was mutilated by the red reaver. If you lost an arm, you cannot perform actions requiring two arms or two hands and suffer a 20% spell failure chance when casting any spell with a material component. If you lost a leg you must use a crutch or prosthetic; if you use a crutch you suffer the same restrictions as though you had lost an arm, and if you use a prosthetic your movement speed is reduced by 10 feet. When you are the target of a regeneration spell, cross this boon off this Chronicle sheet This boon supercedes the normal requirements for resolving negative conditions at the end of a scenario.
Preservationist: Even while being stalked by a red reaver in its lair, you were able to keep calm and protect the valuable historical and religious relics contained within the Bastion of Light. You gain a +1 bonus to your CMD against disarm and sunder attempts, and spells you cast that would damage unattended objects in their area, such as fireball, do so only when you want them to.
Reaver of Reavers: Successfully slaying the fearsome red reaver of Roslar’s Coffer was no mean feat, and word of your victory has spread throughout all of Lastwall and beyond. When staying at an inn, you can almost always secure common quality lodging, meals, and stable services for free.

I use PDFEscape, which just lets me line through boons. Still readable, but it's clear you did not earn them.

I fail to see how it's "overmarking" or there's anything "weird' about it. GMs are suppose to cross out the boons that don't apply. That's what he did. I've seen some GMs completely black out the area. Some people have more editing optionis and some don't. But there's nothing "weird' about blacking out the boons that don't apply.

It's just a question of whether you think it's appropriate for players to see unearned boons. I have no problem with it when I am GMing, but I can see the opposite argument. Of course, a determined player could find out anything about PF1 pretty easily by now.
Elby is Concordance mostly because of something dumb I did when she was new. I assume I can fluff her as an ally even without the official boon.

If you want to know what the other boon was, you can just ask. Nowruz didn't have a problem posting it. He also gave us access to all the chronicles and ou can download it from someone who didn't have it marked off.
I don't think GMs are trying to stop players from seeing it, they are just crossing it off to the best of their ability. As a GM, I actually prefer when the text is blacked/whited out, so the chronicles are easier to read.
Calling it "weird" or labeling it "overmarking" comes across as inflammatory.
