Botting Victoria. Hopefully this will be fun next round. And won't attract Razethka's attention.
Victoria begins casting summon monster v.
Tessara heals Trokkus, and Dana turns him invisible-ish again.
Razethka tries to murder the invisible-ish paladin.

| cmlobue |
Pre-rolling Yellow: 1d100 ⇒ 79
Bite: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13
Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Razethka will be locked on Yellow on her last turn before confusion wears off. Use this well.
Ranalus
|
Ranalus heals Trokkus.
"Everyone fall back and heal Trokkus if you can. I will buy you some time. And we will keep moving."
To deny it full attacks. Ranalus can be the rearguard while we kite it.
Breath of Life: 5d8 + 11 ⇒ (3, 1, 2, 3, 6) + 11 = 26
01-20 miss: 1d100 ⇒ 51
Because Trokkus was not dead, he does not take the negative level. I don't imagine that he is prone from being unconscious, since we are swimming, but if he is then he can stand as a swift action that does not provoke due to Blessing of Fervor. The dragon won't take AOOs on him anyway because it is locked on Yellow.
Ingrge
|
Since it’s confused for one more round, I’ll fire this round and then fall back the next round…
Ingrge will load and fire at the dragon again…
To Hit: Dex+Base, Magic, PBS, Precise Shot, Improved Precise Shot, Deadly Aim
Damage: Strength, Magic, Deadly Aim, Fervor
+2 Light Crossbow: 1d20 + 15 + 2 + 1 - 3 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 15 + 2 + 1 - 3 + 2 = 34
Magic/Cold Iron Damage: 1d7 + 3 + 2 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 3 + 2 + 6 = 17
Current AC: 29

Victoria will re-cast glitterdust to catch the dragon, hoping to blind it for a bit longer.
Sorry, I am getting low on...well, just about everything.
DC19 will
Trokkus
|
The grace of Sarenrae fills Trokkus as the dragon batters him yet again! Although badly wounded, the paladin shouts his defiance and continues to attack! "In the name of the light, fall you monster!"
My hero's defiance spell will trigger as an immediate action the moment I hit zero to use up my last lay on hands and provide 1d6 extra healing. Fortunately, it's enough that I keep my feet and with Renalus' extra healing, should have 43 HP.
Another full round attack w/ smite. It's either me or the dragon! (AC 28 vs it). Please add 11 points of damage to the first attack that hits it.
Healing: 6d6 ⇒ (5, 6, 1, 2, 4, 5) = 23
My AC vs Razethka is now 28.

damage (w/enlarge person, smite): 1d6 + 14 + 11 ⇒ (5) + 14 + 11 = 30
Attack # 1 (w/ haste, bless fervor, heroism, smite): 1d20 + 15 + 1 + 2 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 15 + 1 + 2 + 2 + 2 = 28
damage (w/enlarge person & smite): 1d6 + 14 + 11 ⇒ (3) + 14 + 11 = 28

Tessara Omelion PFS
|
Tess continues cackling to maintain her evil eye hex and tries her most powerful hex and tries to put the dragon to sleep.
Slumber Hex. DC 21 Will save

Dragons are immune to sleep.

Dragons are immune to sleep.
Dangit. You are right. Completely blanked on that.

Ingrge softens up the dragon with another bolt, and Trokkus pummels her until she stops moving.
Going to skip the rest of the combat, because the sahuagin flees when Razethka dies and the only other enemy is CR 1. You can kill the sahuagin or not; it has no effect on your results.
Razethka was carrying two elixirs that seem to be based on her own breath weapon (as the black dragon version, but deal 10d6 damage). The sahuagin have standard baron gear, and the sharks have nothing as expected.
So, finishing up slightly past the end of Gameday...
With the defeat of Razethka, you are free to return to Vialesk in triumph. Behind you, the shell of Riam begins to slowly drift and sink now that it is untethered from The Breath of Lysianassa. A funeral feast is held for those lost. After the feast, coral sculptures are commissioned in honor of each of you. Back at the Grand Lodge, Master of Spells Sorrina Westyr personally thanks you for bringing such a powerful artifact under Pathfinder influence.
Ranalus
|
| 1 person marked this as a favorite. |
Ranalus gives a weary smile to the paladin.
"Most impressive. Well done, Bringer of Light."
At times like this, he almost wishes that he could be as idealistic as these Sarenrites.
But that is not his path. Still, he is grateful that the world has such people.
Ingrge
|
Ingrge nods to Trokkus and then to the rest of his companions. ”Well done. I’ll be glad to get outta this water and trade this thing back in for my longbow. Don’t think I’m cut out for underwater missions…”
He gathers the bolts he fired and then is ready to leave…
Dana Katsu

Dana is so happy about the sculpture and the praise.
“We really made a difference here!!! Thanks everyone!“
Trokkus
|
Trokkus sinks to his knees, breathing with exertion after the final blow. After a silent prayer of gratitude to his goddess, he clambers back up to his feet. "That wuz about as close as it gets an' still come outta the other side! Renalus, thanks pal! And the rest of ya, too, think we did the Society proud with that whole 'cooperation' bit of the motto. Now I don't know 'bout the rest of ya, but I'm anglin' to get my feet back on solid ground for a while . . ."
Sincere thanks to everyone for the help. Like I said, Trokkus wasn't designed as a frontliner, so every single buff was vital to make that work. This was a game I won't soon forget. And GM, many thanks for your patience!

Victoria adds.. Seeing a dragon that close was a thrill...until it betrayed us! I will be glad to be back in the open air and dry off!
