Meylara charges down the first of the half-orcs, but their spiked plate proves to provide a far greater defense and deflects a number of the blows and even dulls the blow from one of the more potentially lethal hits. As she gets close it is clear the warrior has spells warding himself, likely providing some defense against ranged attacks, but the magic so far has does little to stop the damage he is taking from bites, talons, and claws.
63 damage from Meylara and 13 more from Petal

This sends the warrior staggering back a step and all that holds him up is his own ferocity.

A spray of glitter coats the bit of the tavern. Some among the brawl now are struggling to regain sight as they throw wild haymakers. One of the pair of Aspis catches the worst of it as he loses is sight in a brief moment of concern as he looks out for an Pathfinder that lies just out of sight.

Katrina is able to cast her magic successfully and the half-orcs attempt to do something similar.

Katrina's starknife curves through the air and connects with one of the freshly healed wounds before returning back through the air. Tooth follows up and immediately kills the cleric of Gorum with a set of quick attacks.

Since blue is down, I'm shifting Saya slightly and redirecting attack against red.

However both Claw and Saya's attacks aren't able to break through the other priest's defenses. He holds firm deflecting attacks with his greatsword relying on his solid plate.

Undy uses a pearl of power to recover his Vanish spell. Both he and Riddy are now visible. He encourages the dragon to hunker down on his shoulder and they both do their best to put the burlier pathfinders between them and the rowdy crowd.

Saya gets the impression that the surrender is sincere, at least within this battle. His focus seems to be making his way out of the melee. Even as he casts the healing spell, while it does restore life and breathing to the other Aspis, they aren't conscious and it would take significant time to be ready to fight once more.

"You can claim what you want servant of the Blood God. Strength earns the right to take what you will." He lifts up his fellow looking toward Tooth and declares, "if we face each other once more, I accept your lethal intent, but I will not avoid it. If I halted myself in fear of any chance of failure, I would be a disgrace before the Lord in Iron."

The party does recover and restore their spells, but Tooth's question hands on the air if the Pathfinder wishes to continue fighting or vacate the chaotic tavern.

Meanwhile the party hasn't escaped notice even as they plan to leave. A heavily armored warrior with a blade in hand takes position with his blade ready. The drop to the water is 15 feet down and it is about a dozen feet deep.

Undy and Riddy fly forward - Undy draws his rod of intensified metamagic as he moves - and each casts a spell - Burning Hands in Undy's case and Shock Shield for Riddy, though the dragon's spell is somehow absorbed by the wizard's and does not have its usual effect; instead its electrical energy is channeled into the blast of fire ushering from Undy's hands. For good measure, Undy adds an alchemist's flask as a material component.

Intensified Burning Hands, fire dmg: 10d4 ⇒ (4, 2, 3, 2, 4, 2, 4, 3, 1, 3) = 28 Reflex DC 21 for half dmg
Alchemist's Flask Material Component: if he fails his Reflex save he also catches on fire (1d6 fire dmg/round until he puts it out).
Secondary effect from Elemental Commixture (Smoke): Fort DC 21 or nauseated for 1 round and blinded for 1d4 rounds; on a success: still blinded for 1 round and nausea is negated. If he's immune to fire then he's immune to the nausea effect.

At the end of the attack, Tooth slips his hand into his shield and holds it up to protect against a counterattack. The massive axe sinks low in the Baron's other hand, too weighty to be wielded in one hand. Tooth still threatens with his beak ;)

If Tooth is hit by a weapon attack, the wielder must make a DC17 Reflex save or the weapon is stuck to Tooth's resinous skin. Weapons stuck in this way can be removed with a DC17 STR check - a standard action.

I do believe inspire courage bonuses have lapsed.

The warrior while stalwart and defiant, is at a severe disadvantage lacking sight. Claw grabs the warrior and Tooth brings a swift end with a pair of swings with his axe. While the blows are slowed down by the chaos of the tavern, that advantage does little to protect the blinded and grappled opponent.

Everyone is able to act. You have a least a few moments to act freely as people focus on each other as the tavern fills with battle cries and flashing steel.

The Baron scans the crowd for anyone else who feels like trying to steal his shinies.

I imagine we can keep on fighting until the overseer calls time, or fight our way out. Tooth and Claw can fly out any time through the gap over the water, but I'm not going to leave the squishies behind.

You can continue fighting until the overseer calls time. However the melee doesn't seem to be dying down terribly quickly. While many are dead or unconscious on the ground, there are a great many still standing and no sign of halting their fight that are crowding the tavern.

The combat is not dying out and it is likely delaying will see the chance to escape (through the hole in the floor) is unlikely to be easier than it is now.


Season of Ghosts

**HOUSE GM ANNOUNCEMENT**

Without warning, loud slamming noises echo through the tavern, even over the fray of the combat within. Moments later, the front doors rupture in a shower of splinters. In full battle regalia, a contingent of Absalom’s First Guard rush into the room. Swinging heavy chains and nets, they beat into the brawlers en masse, dragging dozens to the floor. The remainder of the contestants break from their opponents, and the crowd devolves into a raging mob as all race frantically for the nearest exit to avoid arrest!

The rush of the crowd as they switch from combat to escape is near instantaneous the people are now pouring away from the town guard to any exit that can be managed. Katrina is ahead of the wave of adventurers and potential champions that are opting to throw themselves through the same exit in the floor; some bolstered by magical flight and some without.

You are now going to need to escape somehow from the tavern. Everyone can act. You are going to need to get out the building.

Terrain: Everyone besides Katrina is now trapped in the raging, fleeing mob. You each can only take standard actions.
Movement requires a standard action paired with a successful Strength, Acrobatics, or Escape Artist check (DC 21). If you succeed, you can move your full move speed.
As an option, you can attempt to fight the crowd, primarily with a Combat Maneuver check as a Standard Action. If you succeed you can clear one 5 foot square for movement for a round. Doing this though may earn the ire of the crowd if you are not successful in clearing the space. If a space is clear, you can move through it normally without a check.

Katrina can still use her abilities to aid the party (or continue moving away) without any checks. She is already out of the tavern and is safe unless she attempts to reenter.

I want to try to answer a few questions, but if there are any questions or elements you think I'm incorrect on let me know.
Flight: The air is nearly as just as crowded as the ground. You still need to make checks to escape. You may use Fly in place of the other skills to move.
Freedom of Movement: You will be able to take your move action, but the other restrictions still apply. You will only be able to move through the crowd by taking a standard action with one of the skill checks.
Spellcasting: Within the mob is full of violet motion. Spellcasting will require a DC 15 + spell level concentration check to cast.

Katrina is still under the water picking up that ruby and putting it away as the splashing starts. She elects to stay underwater, still holding her breath, staying out of the way, but keeping an eye on the new arrivals in case one of them gets into trouble. It doesn't matter to her at the moment whether or not they are friend or foe, the sea itself doesn't care.

She does keep an eye out for any of her team that does decide to jump in.

She then decides to cast Alter Self on herself and transforms into a rainbow tailed mermaid. She then settles down on the seabed to wait, leaning on one of the support poles.
