Human Druid 7
Chui also has a Large allosaur companion, and has mainly prepped area control spells (Entangle, Stone Call) as well as party movement buffs (mass spider climb, mass feather step). I'd put us in the 2nd rank, behind anyone with darkvision and ahead of anyone squishy.
M Tiefling Magus 1 | HP 11/11 | AC 18 TAC 14 FF 14 | F+4 R+4 W+2 | Init+4 | Percep+6, darkvision | Current effects:
Takeda is willing to be frontline. He needs to be close enough to punch and kick anyway.
Male Grippli Shaman 7
Hanuhpah is very much a midrange type caster and rhus is very much in the middle so he can still reach out and mess things up.
M Tiefling Magus 1 | HP 11/11 | AC 18 TAC 14 FF 14 | F+4 R+4 W+2 | Init+4 | Percep+6, darkvision | Current effects:
If we go trap finders up front, Takeda can hang back and should have enough mobility (50’ move) to close the gap when things go bad.
Male Human Psion 10/Atlanteologist 10
Okay. Since there are eight of you, and the cave is narrow, not everyone can be in the front. Takada, Jaidu, and Tyugu have darkvision, they could go in front. However, only two people can take point.
M Tiefling Magus 1 | HP 11/11 | AC 18 TAC 14 FF 14 | F+4 R+4 W+2 | Init+4 | Percep+6, darkvision | Current effects:
I would think Jaidu due to darkvision and trapfinding plus Tyugu with his 120’ darkvision for scanning ahead. Takeda has the movement to engage from most anywhere in the lineup. Recommend those with reach weapons be the second line.
Male Grippli Shaman 7
Jus stack them on top of eachother and ill push them down the way like an angry adventurer slug.

10' wide
Jaidu Phoibe
Tyug’u Timerus
Nuriyah Hanuhpah
Takeda Chui
Chui's AC
Tyg'u can use his Reach easily over Jaidu.
Phoibe does have Trap Spotter.
Takeda has good Speed and good perception, along with DV for rearguard duties.
Windaghi has pounce with Speed 50; so go boy; get'em!
My 2 cents.
Male Half Elf 7th Sorcerer {Destined Bloodline} [ HP: 52/52 AC: 17 T: 15 FF: 13 | Fort +4, Ref +5, Will +5| Init +3 Perc:+4]
Im good with that or even Tim in the 3rd rank. if someone else feels they need to be in second.
Fireball can be cast from a good long ways away ;)
F Fire Genasi (Ifrit) Swashbuckler 7 | HP 54/61 | AC: 23 (18 tch, 15 ff) | CMB +12/+7, CMD +28 | F +6, R +11, W +3 | Init +7 | Perc +10, SM +10 | Panache 4/4 | Charmed Life 3/4
I would put Nuriyah in the second rank in place of Timerus, since he's a ranged caster and she's a melee type with darkvision. (Darkvision will probably be moot though, since Phoibe needs light in order to spot traps.) Other than that the marching order looks good to me.
Male Human Psion 10/Atlanteologist 10
Alright. Looks good to me, does anyone have a different proposal?
Female Human Slayer (ankou's shadow) 7: max hp 67, init +6, perc +13, F+10, R+11, W+7, trap sense +2
I have reach as well and combat reflexes
Male Human Psion 10/Atlanteologist 10
That Phoibe does. She has the combat reflexes feat and has reach.

Exactly! I figured she would get AoOs as the come to us.
Plus, it gives Jaidu a bit of a laugh before getting clawed, bitten, horned, slammed, or otherwised mauled.
Human Druid 7
Does she have Improved Trip? If so we will have quite the hammer and anvil thing in the open field.
F Fire Genasi (Ifrit) Swashbuckler 7 | HP 54/61 | AC: 23 (18 tch, 15 ff) | CMB +12/+7, CMD +28 | F +6, R +11, W +3 | Init +7 | Perc +10, SM +10 | Panache 4/4 | Charmed Life 3/4
Wow, I am having zero luck with Perception checks so far.
Male Human Psion 10/Atlanteologist 10
Yeah. Maybe you should clear your cache and cookies.

I'm playing several other games here, and the rolls for all of those are coming out normal. Maybe it's just bad luck.

For those that have not played a game with me; My characters (even the casters much to their frustration) tend to be a bit reckless, excitable and a bit Deadpool...ish.
Some are actually made for that playing style.
I have been gaming since I was 9. Before the Red, Blue and Purple Box Sets. I actually just found a bunch of my old D&D PHB, DMG, UA, FF plus a couple of modules.
Ah the memories!
That is why I wished to play this ol' school game!
Plus, it's a Hydra!

Don't worry, you'll get to kill something pretty soon. Though I don't think it's a hydra.

I almost TPKed my old home group with a terrain like this with a Hydra.
The Paly got pushed off the ledge into the water in his full plate. He was walking the bottom, holding his breath for like 9 rounds before he made his climb checks!
The Bard jumped in to save him (in breastplate). He couldn't make his Swim or Climb checks!
Hilarious!

DM, meant to ask earlier. One of his monk abilities is to spend a point of Ki to activate barkskin. Since he is a Garuda blooded Aasimar, could I have that be full body plumage instead of the classic bark skin look?

Hey Elton, can you put the map link in the header,

rather than have it hiding on page 2?

Done, you can click on Map A to get the entrance to the city where you are traveling through. Just click on Map A.

We do that in my Rappan Athuk PbP for years.

A couple questions.
Are we on a new turn now? And does Nuriyah have to move to get to another enemy, or can she make a full attack?
Male Human Psion 10/Atlanteologist 10
Yep new turn.
Nuriyah has to move to get another enemy, and she has the option of a full attack with her sword.

Yes.

Things are a little chaotic now so im trying to figure out whose turn is who's and where im at.

Ok I was waiting for the init and surprise and all that to go man what a lot of stuff hitting at once
Male Human Psion 10/Atlanteologist 10
Maybe I'm not trying hard enough.
Human Druid 7
I am getting a good picture of a fairly chaotic battle, what with our mobility and reach, the low and irregular light, the narrow confines of the cavern, and the rushing speed with which we're trying to advance.

Only you can make that call.
I am in 15 PbP. I run one of them. Every game's DM has their own style. Every player does also. It usually takes a bit to mesh well.
Game on!

Yes, it did. All bugbears are dead.

Also, as a Q, are these actually bugbears we are fighting, or is that you writing in a replacement for Tasloi? Because if these are actual bugbears, there's going to be another round of knowledge checks a la Miya...
Male Human Psion 10/Atlanteologist 10
These were actual bugbears. They're more dangerous for a party of 4th level characters.

My apologies for being absent for a few days. Been moving since Friday. And no internet connection in the new house (even though I'm in the middle of the city and my cell signal for inet was also nonexistent.
Cable Guy installed a modem this morning...and voila
I'm back
