"Owlbear Outlook?" Lup parrots as Kelda nd her father bring it up.
"Oh yes! I'm sorry I was just lost in thought there. What's are you serving this fine morning?" Astoria asks politely.
"Wheat cakes, toast, eggs, some meat and fruit," Ewan answers. "My wife, Henrietta, can tell you what exactly. She keeps me out of the kitchen for good reason."

The woman who took your order returns with your food and drinks. "Enjoy."
Gavril hums. "It's an inn about half a day out from here, more or less. You can see the woods from there. There's an old rumor that owlbears roam those woods. Of course, no one's ever seen one."
"I see... I'll have to check it out some time." Lup replies with a grin.

Kelda looks at him, "Yeah, like when we stop there for lunch later today." She says, while shaking her head and chuckling quietly.
Astoria smiles and says. "That sounds lovely. Thank you."
Turning to Celanna she points to a nearby table. "How about this table here?" She asks.
"Yes!" he can't help hissing through his teeth.

The chuckling turns into a hearty laugh at her new friends exuberance over eating at a restaurant. She couldn't believe he was so excited to eat somewhere, just because it had Owlbear in the name. To be fair, they did have very good food...from what she could remember anyways.

Lysithia smiles, sure that Lup was more exited about the prospect of hunting olwbears than the highly recommended food.

Wiping her eyes as she gets her laughing under control, "Oh Lup, you're so silly."
Lup just grins and shrugs unapologetically.
"Let's eat," Gavril says. "We have many miles ahead of us."
Kelda mods, and as she starts eating, she finds Lysithia's hand under the table, and gives it a gentle squeeze.
Letting go of her hand, Kelda concentrates on her meal.
Squeezing back, Lysithia smiles as she enjoys her meal.
Astoria smiles and says. "That sounds lovely. Thank you."
Turning to Celanna she points to a nearby table. "How about this table here?" She asks.
Still mulling over her newest bizarre dream, Celanna simply nodded.
As Celanna and Astoria sit down, they are approached by Henrietta. "Good morning, ladies. We have wheat cakes, toast, sausage, a little bacon, eggs, oatmeal, figs, apricots, plums, cider, ale, milk and lemonade."
"Good morning. I think we'll try a little of everything if that's alright?" Astoria answers quickly.
Henrietta seems a little taken aback before composing herself. "If you're sure."

Astoria nods. "Yes please."
"Toast, sausage, eggs, and cider for me please," Celanna responded.
Henrietta nods and departs. She returns a few minutes later with a large tray carrying several platters and drinks. "I think that's all of it."
Gelda's eyes widen as she looks across and sees the amount of food taken to the table with just two people.
Astoria digs into her breakfast oblivious to any strange looks directed her way.
Celanna glanced at her companion before starting to eat her own food.
Noting the look on Gelda's face, "What is it Gelda? Is something wrong?"
Gelda subtly gestures to the table with the two half-elves. "I've never seen someone order so much food...I wonder if she's going to eat it all..."

Kelda takes a moment to look in the direction that her cousin gestures, before shrugging, "I don't know, but it would be impolite to ask her about her eating habits. She might just be one of those people who expend a lot of energy, and need more fuel than we do."
Kelda goes back to enjoying her own hearty meal, a small smile playing at the corner of her lips, as she thinks about how she expended her own energy the other night.
After finishing his food, Gavril wipes his mouth with a napkin. "We'll get ready and meet you at the north gate in two hours or so."
Kelda nods, "Alright, we'll make sure we have everything we need, and we'll meet you there. Maybe we'll get lucky and run into a couple more people before we head out of town to Cooperton."

Astoria's ears twitch at the mention of Cooperton. She glances up at the group seated nearby, her cheeks still puffed with mouthfuls of breakfast. "mib dey fay moppermum?" she mumbles.
”Indeed, Moppermum!” Lup giddily calls back to the nosy squirrel with stuffed cheeks.
Astoria hastily chews down her food, with a growing blush of embarrassment. "I'll go! I, what I mean to say is... I was headed that soon anyway."
Turning to look at the two half elves, "Sooo...was it just you, or do you both want to travel with us? I feel I should let you know that we're going to be dealing with some goblin raiding parties, that the town has been having problems with. Do you still want to come?" She asks, a bit of hopefulness in her voice.
"I'm not sure." Astoria spares a glance to her companion. "What do you think? I know you've got you sights set somewhere else."
Kelda looks at the other half elf sitting at the table, "If you have any fighting skills at all, you would be a great help. We were told that the goblins usually show up in groups of ten, so we could really use all the help we can get. If you have somewhere else to be though, we would completely understand." Kelda wouldn't hold it against her if she had other plans, but she was really hoping that the half elf could be talked into it. The more people they had, the better their chances of getting rid of the goblin menace that had been causing mayhem in Cooperton.
"It would definitely be a great help to have a few other capable people join us in helping the town." Lysithia chimes in to the half elven women at the other table.
"I can tag along if you'd like," Her thoughts still lingering on her dreams last night.
Kelda smiles, "Great! So...we have about two hours before we have to meet up with the others at the North gate. Once you've finished your meals, is there anything you need to do, or purchase before we head out of town?" She asks, wanting to make sure everyone has what they need before heading out. She thought it would be a good idea for them all to stick together until it was time to go.
A look of embarrassment crosses her face, as she realizes that they hadn't even introduced themselves yet.
Blushing slightly at the pair, Kelda gets up since she was done eating, and goes over to the two half elves sitting at the table. Extending her arm to the two women she says,m "I'm so sorry, where are my manners? I'm Kelda, and these two with me are Lysithia, and Lup. It's a pleasure to meet you both."
Astoria reaches out to shake Kelda's hand. "A pleasure to meet you all, I'm Astoria. I don't think there's anything I'm in need of but I'll check again after I'm finished here. "
Kelda returns the hand shake with a firm, yet gentle grip. Giving them both a welcoming smile she says, "I'm sorry to have interrupted your meal. Please, take your time, and enjoy the rest of your breafast. We can finish the introductions later. We'll just wait down here until you're both ready to go." Giving a polite nod of her head, Kelda turns and heads back to their own table. Sitting down next to Lysithia, Kelda takes a deep breath, before letting it out slowly as she takes Lysithia's hand in hers.
Giving her a smile she asks, "Is there anything else you need before we leave town this morning?"
