DuQuesne |
DuQuesne moves for a clearer shot and clever attacks:
Bluff to Feint as part of Clever attack: 1d20 + 12 + 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 12 + (2) + 1 = 26
DC: 10 + your opponent’s Sense Motive, or 15 + 1-1/2 × the opponent’s CR
If successful, he’s flat-footed to everyone’s attacks, otherwise, only to DuQuesne’s
Liquidator Disintegrator Rifle vs. flat-footed EAC: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (12) + 11 = 23
Acid damage: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18
Hey look - good rolls! And keeping the FF going
Mahari Jones |
With a clear shot, Mahari targets the possessed SRO once again.
Trick Attack, Spy's Bluff : 1d20 + 24 ⇒ (12) + 24 = 36
Succeeds vs CR 16 or less.
Trick Damage: 3d8 ⇒ (8, 2, 5) = 15
Attack, Force vs EAC : 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (5) + 9 = 14
Damage, B: 1d6 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10
If they both succeed, maintain Hampering Shot to reduce speed and prevent guarded steps.
GM Aerondor |
DuQuesne and Mahari combine to double team Makepeace who goes down hard.
Combat over.. for now...
And another computers check if you want to try and remove the virus from Makepeace.
Mahari Jones |
Mahari rushes over to check on Makepeace and starts getting access to his systems. But she waits for the expert(s) to take over the detailed work of cleaning out the virus.
Computers, Aid : 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (3) + 12 = 15
DuQuesne |
"Disturbing experience, all around!" comments, Duquesne, unscathed. "How is the rest of the spire doing?"
GM Aerondor |
All around you can hear the sounds of battle, although to be fair, they do seem to be dying away a little. You can only hope that you "won".\\
Makepeace lies on the ground, lights flashing over their "skin" slowly dimming...
Mahari Jones |
Sefel needs to be botted, but has a +17 to both Computers and Engineering. Could count as an auto-aid if we're waiting for Daata. Daata has a +20, FWIW.

2 people marked this as a favorite. |
Data tries to remove the virus
computers: 1d20 + 20 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 20 + 2 + 2 = 27
And, between his own natural skill and help from Sefel and Mahari manages to do so!
Celita reappears, slightly the worse for wear, with burns on her jacket. One
of her antennae has been ripped off, the attached screen cracked and hanging lopsided from its attachment. Oil and burn marks soil her jacket, and her expression is grim.
“Looks like you have this section of the perimeter under control, Starfinders. I’m getting reports that things are starting to calm down, so you can let down your guard. At least for now.”
She stares off into the distance and breathes a deep sigh. “That was excellent work repairing that Drift beacon. The string of code that you got for me might be the start of understanding exactly what happened here. But I’m afraid that what happened to Zigvigix, and now this attack, is only the beginning. Get some rest, Starfinders. We’re going to need you tomorrow, and likely for many days to come. This isn’t over.”
But this scenario is!
Thanks for playing everyone. I'll try to get your chronicles out tonight. We'll hold off until next week for those who want to do 04-04, but the threads are open

Yes, thanks again, Aerondor!
