Ok great- Thanks!
Toral Kargar
|
But everyone should check for traps.
Maybe you gm could roll perception for all of us?

Makes sense!
Standard procedures for the group.
- Kahwen and Toral move at the front
- Everyone checks for traps
- We cast detect magic regularly and scan the area
- We move clockwise to investigate doors in a room
Ellismus the Blue
|
Sounds like a plan! if we do find traps, Ellismus has Disable Device.
Kahwen
|
I like it. As far as I'm concerned, the GM can assume we follow that sequence for the whole dungeon.
That'll save some of the "Where do you guys go next?" posts.
Kahwen has a +16 Disable Device skill with another +2 for Masterwork Thieves' Tools.
Ellismus the Blue
|
Ellismus has a total of +22 to Disable Device right now (if need be, can add +2 to that with Aram Zey's Focus extract, gaining Trapfinding and allowing him to disable magical traps).

Not sure how good Ellismus' memory is, but this might jog some things. Unfortunately, there are no checks.
Ellismus the Blue
|
Ah yes, thanks for jogging my memory. Is the door and 10-foot hall to the southwest already explored in the previous adventure?
Ellismus the Blue
|
Ok that's what I thought... thanks.
Toral Kargar
|
That is true.
And he’s in full full plate. :-/
Ellismus the Blue

Game Over. Let's go back to the boat?
Ellismus the Blue

I think you said I can't see the dwarf, but I was on the road today and could have misread your post. Basically, the reason is just for RP: he saw the dwarf jump and went after him to make sure he's ok.
| Grandmaster TOZ |
@GM: Is there a way, through math or something, that we can fast forward to the bottom of the pit here? @Players: if you haven't spoken up for a while, please say what your characters are doing. Thanks!
Well, the remaining characters are welcome to take the Cleric’s Feather Fall like Toral did. But I can’t run your characters for you.
Nectanebo the Vulture

In that case, if feather fall is an option, I see no reason not to avail myself of it!

his jump reminded me of a dwarf fighter i played with my IRL group a while back. i kept telling the mage to fireball my square when surrounded...and i mean all 8 surrounding squares with enemies...i pulled aggro pretty good...and the DM was like "how are you not dead?"...he eventually dies from a bite ctitical from a t-rex....but a glorious death it was....
Toral Kargar
|
Ha ha … great story.
Nectanebo the Vulture
|
Not sure what to do; any ideas? I'm not inclined to do what Toral did.
Ellismus the Blue
|
Ha! you got us there! ;)
| Grandmaster TOZ |
a 24 fails the will save?
I may have misread the frightful presence entry. Thought it did shaken on a successful save for some reason.
Edit: Yep, missed the 'on a failed save' between the text "An opponent that succeeds on the saving throw is immune to that same creature’s frightful presence for 24 hours. On a failed save, the opponent is shaken". Let me rework the latest post.
Nectanebo the Vulture

Truly, terribly sorry to have been AWOL so long; is there any reason I couldn't have settled for a feather fall potion - or better still, SCROLLS? UMD impresario here, don't forget.
I wish I'd thought of that sooner; had another 'worse than usual' past few days, I can't even track WHY anymore.
Nectanebo the Vulture
|
I believe a potion or scroll would only last a few rounds due to minimum caster level.
Fair enough; I'll take the scrolls in any case.

sorry...but i'm a bit confused..so green is commanded, but it's looking to attack Toral? or is red the only current "bad" guy...just want to clarify first...does Nectanebo have full control of green?
