@Mykel & Noctanebo: thanks for the feedback. Based on Noctane's answer I believe I will be the strong/silent low Cha type during this adventure, without toilet-related incidents. May I still play my character as grumpy, or is that also bad in some way for someone at this table?

@GM TOZ: let me know when you intend to start this scenario (ballpark). I'll have to go back and re-read the rules on alchemist as it's been a long time (particularly the splash radius for bombs, as I remember the templates to be different, i.e. if I remember well, you target a creature and not an intersection, so the splash radius comes out of a central square/creature and not an intersection I think...) Cheers!

I'm fairly practiced with a crypt breaker and a chiurgeon of my own, as well as running for a number of bombers with unusual options. You are correct that a creature targeted causes the splash to hit all adjacent squares, while a bomb targeted at an intersection only hits the four squares touching that intersection. The rules are less clear about targeting a specific square, but I don't expect that to come up often, if at all. I will try to get the briefing up now, last night was a low energy night.

Looking at the exact wording, Precise Bombs just excludes the square from damage, not any effect that isn't tied to damage. It sounds like the creature would be excluded from the stink bomb damage but not the stinking cloud effect. This is also supported by the radius being larger than the splash damage area. I saw mention of a dev clarification in my forum search but haven't been able to confirm where that clarification is. If it says otherwise, we will roll with Precise Bombs working, otherwise it will not.

Can't speak for the GM but all 'hour/level' buffs should be ok; "10min/level" ones are not. This is the assumption I made with Ellismus, hence is highly debuffed version now... :P

(when truly buffed, he is a sight to behold! see, this is why martial types are so important!)

If it makes sense for your character to have used his 6 hour buff while on a ship all day long for the last week, then yes. I would assume hi would either have spent it at wake up and possibly had it expire already or wait until there was actual trouble. My characters usually wait until they have a duration that lasts all day before it becomes a daily buff.

But seriously, if those buffs annoy you I can take them out. One is 48 hours and the other is 16 hours; I really honestly thought I was in the realm of 'daily buff' with those. My bad if this is not the case, and I can retcon my HPs to 5 lower.
