The team proceeds further down the tunnel.

Kn. Geography 12:

You might be below the center of the highlands, or not too far off if not.

At some point, Brunhild and Estelle notice some hidden natural alcove.
Searching it, reveals a small stache of goods, the things people on the road would need if going on a travel, or making an escape.

Content:

A simple dagger, light mace, 10 gold. The weapons are dated, but functional. A strange copper amulet, the size of a coin, with the sign of a crescent moon above a lake.
The rations are moldy, and turn to fine crumbs upon touch.

The amulet might be worth something (probably a small amount) to the right person.

Kn. Religion 14 for amulet:
The symbol of the faith of the moon, its worship gone from much of the lands. But some say not -entirely- gone.

Is marching order done 1 by 1, or 2 by 2? Forgot to ask that.
From the first lines in marching order, perception please. From the first in marching order, also a reflex check.

I think Daniel asked Estelle to stay behind him earlier at the crab site, so she sticks to that. I suppose that means the marching order is 1 by 1 with Estelle second?

Earlier.

"Maybe they were starving? I think bats usually live in large swarms, but there were only two here... maybe their flock's food source ran out and they dispersed into small packs? Or maybe they just have a nest somewhere nearby and were defending it from us," Estelle replies, considering. "You're right in that it seems odd for bats to attack us, though. We're both a lot bigger than them and with greater numbers."

After dispersing the loot.

"Hm... what a stange amulet this is. Anyone recognize the symbol?"

In her mind, she felt a prickling idea that she'd once have known, of lazy afternoons growing up in temples and flicking through tomes and coming across this symbol there, but she couldn't quite grasp it.

With that much room I would be walking beside someone I judge, but Estelle differs, so perhaps we need a group vote, or at least specification for this battle? I prefer 2 people at the front when possible just because it is easier for the people in the back to actually participate in the battle.

Mechanically, Estelle should definitely be in front, carrying a reach weapon with combat reflexes and all. But in-character, she got completely wrecked in seconds in the previous fight while Daniel was described as near-soloing the crab by himself. So... I figure her confidence is down a lot and she'd take his suggestion of staying behind him, if only because he seems much more competenent. Her being in second row for now is fine for me.

As the group treads further down the tunnel, there is a small obstacle.
What appears to have been a small set of stairs has faded into a slope, where caution is adviced.

Daniel and Rowan, eyes going from the slope to the part below, descend first. Daniel notices some white lines down below, but at the angle of initial descending, is not yet sure what it is. Once the both of them make a short quick space at the end, they can't slow down quick enough, and both make contact with what turn out to be thin webs.

Daniel and Rowan are entangled, not stuck, for the next 5 rounds.

Within the section in front of them, awaits a spider, which starts moving now that two creatures are within its webs.
