Aeliah ✨casts lesser restoration from the magus’ scroll and says a short elven prayer to the Hunter, translating into common for Pai.

Daedîn nods in appreciation to Aeliah and Teric for the healing as he puts a hand lightly on Thoriel’s shoulder.
”Nice work there, Thoriel…looks like we Elves were up to the grunt work, eh? Glad you’re feeling better; those demonic land sharks had a vicious bite, damn their eyes…”
The Elf salvages what few arrows he can, leaving the diplomacy towards the friendly morlocks to those better suited for it, but keeps his eyes open as he scopes out the area…

Thoriel shakes off the deadly venom, and with the use of a restorative scroll recovers her health.
Aeliah helps the pathfinders recover, whilst Teric opens discussion with the surviving morlocks and Daedîn keeps a watch.
Only 3 wand charges are needed to fully heal Thoriel's hp damage, because when the CON damage is healed she gets back the hp reduction immediately. Ability Damage rules
A hulking morlock separates himself from his kin. Speaking in a broken cadence, he stammers, “Me understand, surface dwellers, me friend. Much going on and time short. Follow me; I take you to Karn.”
As he struggles with an unfamiliar language the large morlock emphasises his point by shaking a familiar object: a wayfinder. With surprising speed he shuffles on all fours and begins to scamper off. After going a few yards, the morlock stops and swivels back pleading, “Hurries, hurries, hurries!”
Everyone is fully healed :)

Meanwhile, the Varisian smiles and nods at the morlock. He takes the wayfinder and inspects it as he begins to follow the morlock.

The morlock snatches the wayfinder away from Teric's grasp. "MINE!" he snarls. "Karn give to me. Show you so you know to follow. Karn friend. Must hurry!"
You travel through the ruins, led by the morlocks through a maze of collapsed buildings and toppled statuary. After an hour, the morlock leader calls a halt.

Aeliah points at the rectangular building 100’ away. “Could this be ‘Great Keep?’”
How big is it GM sv? Like it could contain a multi-level dungeon crawl?
“Zarta said we could find Hellknights, which us should be nice to. BUT her second letter made throw-away ref to Aspis. Maybe Snakes got Karn in keep?”
The druidess considers her spell list. “Aeliah think me only worry ‘bout hours long buffs right now. But her will think some more after listen at others.”
“But more important how we get in keep? Ground floor door, obvious second floor window? Fly to roof? What?”
She grins. “Who want to play ‘Come into My Castle.’”
Daedîn

Daedîn shrugs again, nodding to Aeliah, ”I can scout it out, try to find the best entry points and any traps or hidden guards…”
The Elf will warily approach the building, concealing himself as best he can as he moves, eyes alert to any signs of dangers and tracks, while looking for the best approach to and entry into this building…

"Nina means she and some of our past partners got their teeth kicked in enough by doing that that she doesn't fancy any repeats," Inky snort-laughs.

The building that the morlock seems to call the 'cage' is only a single storey. But as Daedîn draws closer he realises that it's only the top floor of what must have been a much taller building, and that the rest is now submerged within the ruins. Who knows what lies beneath? Perhaps only layers of rubble - or perhaps tunnels leading deeper into Rachikan?
There is a single possible entrance - probably at one time it was a window overlooking the city, but now it is covered in layers of grime. The building is around 75 feet by 40 feet, and about 10 feet high.
Teric Cain

Teric, now walking, looks at the morlock. "Are the other people hurting Karn? And she is your friend, yes? She's our friend too. We are looking forward to seeing her again."
He turns to the others. "While it's possible Marianix's activities have been discovered, we should not assume so unless we have proof. Zarta asked us to be diplomatic, remember?" He pauses. "Should we claim to be mercenaries come to help? This is all supposed to be controlled by Cheliax."
Aeliah
|
“Aeliah thought what Zarta said was ‘play nice with Hellknights.’ ‘Blades and wings’ could be ‘Hellknights and Conjured Devils.’”
“But Zarta also said there Aspis excavation. Maybe Snakes ‘blades and wings?’ Zarta not say ‘play nice with Snakes.’”
🐍
Aeliah pauses to think about Teric’s suggestion. “But Aeliah all for trying diplomacy before violence.”
“If Teric want to do cover story and do talky-talky to free Karn, Aeliah support him. But her not good at tell lies.”
“Aeliah can do mouth shut but.”
Once everyone is ready, Aeliah moves to the entrance and checks it for traps and alarms.

Daedîn shakes his head. ”Aspis agents make nice pincushions…many Hellknights do as well…but at least there are a few who are honorable…”
As Aeliah checks the entrance, the rogue pipes in, ”I saw no traps while scouting, Aeliah…but I guess it never hurts to double-check…”
Daedîn draws his bow and covers the half-Elf as she checks things out…

The building’s interior is dark and contains two rooms. The western room acts as an antechamber for a larger room to the east. The eastern room is filled with four cages, torture implements, and a heavy grate in the floor. The buildings' occupants have put agony on exhibit in the form of several lifeless figures contorted in impossible shapes and nailed to the wall as works of art, their shattered bodies splayed open in perverse displays of vivisection. Armour still clinging to the corpses marks the deceased as Hellknights.

Then he motions in the straight line at the three demons standing together. A blast of icy cold rips through the one on the far right, continuing into the other two but weakening as it travels.
Cold Burning Arc vs Black (DC 23 Reflex for Half): 10d6 ⇒ (5, 6, 2, 2, 5, 2, 5, 6, 4, 6) = 43
Cold Burning Arc vs Blue (DC 21 Reflex for Half): 5d6 ⇒ (4, 2, 2, 5, 2) = 15
Cold Burning Arc vs Green (DC 21 Reflex for Half): 2d6 ⇒ (6, 2) = 8
Persistent metamagic means they need to save twice. Failing any save imparts Slowed 1.

Round #1 (updated): AC 20, wayfinder (20’ normal light, 20’ dim) longstrider, haste (1/11) ☤ 91/115 hp
With both Daedîn and Thoriel shrugging off the incubis’ questionable suggestions, Aeliah adjusts the origin of her radiance burst to avoid the elven magus.
(And to avoid any PFS PvP stuff, if you’ll allow it, GM sv)

The incubi ought to have known better than to try to enchant elves - but Inky finds the situation overwhelming. Although the eidolon lands a couple of claw attacks, the wounds heal instantly and the demon opposing Inky laughs derisively. Inky doesn't beat their DR. This only serves to compound Inky's sense of the futility of struggle.
Teric tries to freeze several of the demons.

Two of the incubi are coated in ice, but the third is unaffected.
Tiddles manages to whack a demon with his tail, but can't bring the fiend down.
Tiddles' movement will provoke from Yellow, because he has to get completely into the room (can't squeeze through the wall). He's no longer squeezing when he leaves the threatened square though.

The demon in the thick of it is blinded by the bright light, but the other two merely squint. All three register their displeasure with hisses and threats of unendurable pain to be inflicted.
Thoriel lands a couple of retaliatory strikes with her cold iron blade, much to the blinded opponent's chagrin.

It's just teleported into the next room, but bear in mind that you'll only have line of sight to it if you look through the doorway.
"Come and give me that pretty bow of yours" the black demon invites Daedîn.
