If you can find a pdf on online of Races of Ansalon that might help.
It is easy enough to read HERE if that's helpful. It was for me.
wish i'd have seen that when i pulled up one. MIne was in tiny print.
is it dead in here? I understand holidays and such but haven't seen anything in game thread or discussion thread either. SO I am wondering if its dead or is a break happening?
No, I was waiting to see if the people who had expressed interest, like the kagonesti rouge and the minotaur and kender were going to submit anything.
I am gonna go ahead and close recruitment, it doenst look like the minotaur or the kagonesti have submitted anything, and right now, the kender is kinda hard to incorporate.
I submitted a crunch and basic concept for two different bards, but did not really feel I got much feedback regarding any of those ideas. That is why I did not go further.
I am sorry. Can you repost them?
The swashbuckler/bard would be a better fit for the group.

I like the renegade hunter but I think that I can accomplish the same thing without trying to adjust the rules to pathfinder. I think it would be easier for all involved if the renegade hunter was just a roleplayed thing and not a PRC in my opinion.
I will set up a 1/2 elf spellbinder red robe. I should have it up in the next day or so.
Anything in particular that would help the party along the way spells?
Maybe ask the players if they have any suggestions.
Also what do you want us to do background wise?
One can belong to an organization and not take levels in the PRC.
There are examples of Knights of the Rose who were LN, so they did not qualify for the PRC. The PRC demonstrates how much one is dedicated to the Order, if that makes sense.
Do you have a background for the swashbuckler/bard? You would probably worship Branchala, the god of bards, I would think,
I do not envision him as a particularly religious character, but I guess from the Branchala portfolio the Forests portion would make sense for him.
As for background, I don't have much more than the broad details from my previous posts - grim and hardened for the loss of his homeland and family. And eager to find a way to 'fight back'.
Are there any organized efforts or groups martial in nature, and which would be a good option in contributing to sating his thirst for revenge?
They don’t even need to be particularly well aligned - Teldrien is in a bad place right now, so even if the groups he heard about were no more than mercenaries, he would still go looking for them. And in the meantime, he could somehow come across the group?
Just throwing ideas around.
Also, a question of my own regarding the game - what is the intended/expected posting rate?
Once we get started, daily, or at least a head's up.

We're just holding for now due to holidays and also to get potential recruits in the story before we proceed to blindly wander through it.
Yes, Windsworn is correct.

We're just holding for now due to holidays and also to get potential recruits in the story before we proceed to blindly wander through it. Good that makes sense. I was wondering if this was typical for posting or just slow for holidays. If it was typical it was getting frustrating.
No, not typical. We are trying to shore up our numbers so that we can continue :)
If you want to submit a character, please do but sooner rather than later.
Trying to read through the entire thread and get caught up on what's going on and what's already put onto paper.

If it helps, the party is stuck at the moment for lack of proper face characters and also that we don't have a wizards.
Wizards being a vital part of the Dragonlance world. Oh also the elves part.
Windsworn is a knight which makes him the typical dumb one on the group. No witty repartee from this one.
We have a wizard and a sorcerer but nothing says there can't be mire.

I thought there was a bard?
We have an ogre sorcerer..
A herbalist......
yeah that's about it....as far as I can remember. :P

Would be helpful for the DM to update the campaign page by deactivating characters who are no longer with the group, as I can't tell who's still in the game and who isn't!

Should our new characters be level 1 to start, or start at level 2 with the rest of the party?
Level 2 along with us unless you have some background reason not too.
Ok, do we roll hit points or take the usual fixed value, and do we use starting level 1 steel pieces or start with the wealth-by-level value of 1,000 stl?
Hp is rolled.
May your HP rolls be higher then average.
I'm not sure about wealth though. DL is low magic campaign with everyone seemingly broke.
Except Wizards.
Hit dice: 1d8 ⇒ 8
Hit dice: 1d8 ⇒ 4
1 point below average, workable. Though if we use basic starting wealth, my character has no armor.
Since the other new recruit is playing a bard, I've made a Qualinesti elf cleric, Quantharas Tirmon. Pretty straightforward: A skilled survivalist and archer. The War of Souls' destruction of Qualinost threw him into the refugee life, but since the war lasted less than a year, that was essentially just a huge but short disruption of a long life. (At 90 years old, he is a young elf, but old enough to have been alive before the original Dragonwar and through the War of Souls.)
Need to know starting wealth to finalize.
Which god?
It should be the same as for a 2nd lvl character. I forget what that is.

Habbakuk. It's listed in the character alias, which is linked above.
A standard Pathfinder 2nd-level character has 1,000 gold pieces (which would be steel in Dragonlance).
This is what I see: Cleric of the Holy Orders of the Stars 2
Remember to add your medallion of faith (habbakuk) to your equipment.

Look at the "deity" line on the left pane.
that amount looks right for the starting treasure

Shalafi2412 wrote: that amount looks right for the starting treasure I'll assume that you mean "1,000 stl is the correct amount" and not "the current starting gear on the character is the correct amount."
I presume you use ironwood and dragonmetal instead of darkwood and mithral?
Do composite bows exist in your version of the Dragonlance setting?
dragon metal 8s extremely rare

I was under the impression that there is some time pressure to finish characters, but I can't finish up until these questions are answered.
