Cousin to All calls a short recess.

During this recess, Cousin to All meets with you to discuss the situation.

It appears nothing will sway Kemchet Flame Stoker from voting against you. I suspect you already have figured this out.

Currently I believe that Lake at Dawn and Memory Tender are inclined towards voting in favor of your proposal.

You have made some progress with Payah, but I don’t know if you have enough time to convince her.

You have done nothing to sway Togimal in Shadow to vote for your proposal.

I and Rollicks in Waves are committed to giving you this opportunity to redeem the society.

I would have preferred more of the council members vote for it, but as long as you can get four votes in favor, you will be given your opportunity to redeem yourselves.

About this time, Rollicks in Waves comes over. Frowning, he says “Kemchet has used his time to talk with Memory Tender. Although I think you can still get her to vote for your proposal, you will need to work at it.

Nodding, Cousin to All says “He is quite determined to prevent this. It is no surprise that he would try to sway others to his side.

When I reconvene the council, you will have an opportunity to make your final statement on the subject. May you do well with them.

A short time after that, Cousin to All calls the council back. Each of the council members takes their places.

Final phase for the social encounter. Good luck!
You would have had some time to discuss amongst yourselves what you want to do.

Don’t have time for a full update.
Payah and Memory Tender are now swayed to vote for your proposal.
Will give a full update later today, just wanted to post in order to avoid having to retcon.

Memory Tender says “You have returned the items taken. If the council grants you what you have asked for, come talk to me and I will tell you some of their placement.

Payah Against the Wind looks at the two dwarves and says “The real test of soldiers is how well they can work together. I do hope your people know how to work together.

I vote in favor of the proposal.

She turns to Rollicks in Waves and asks for his vote.

Rollicks in Waves says “I believe the Pathfinder Society should be given the chance to make amends. I vote in favor of the proposal.

Cousin to All then turns to Kemchet Flame Stoker and asks for his vote,

They are outsiders. They have done nothing deserving of our trust. One of them desecrated our site. I vote against the proposal and would gladly escort them off our lands immediately!

Cousin to All then turns to Lake at Dawn and asks for his vote.

I believe they have demonstrated some knowledge of our customs and a sincere desire to repair what has been broken. I vote in favor of giving them that chance.

Cousin to All then turns to Togimal in Shadow for his vote.

I am not satisfied. I see no signs that they know anything of our lands. I am against the proposal.

Cousin to All calls Payah Against the Wind next.

I am a person of action. They wish to act rather than just give words of appeasement. I say let them do so! I vote in favor of the proposal.

Finally Cousin to All turns to Lake at Dawn. “You have the final vote, cousin. What shall it be?

Lake at Dawn slowly gets to his feet. “I would have preferred we all agree on this. Such is not the case.

The Pathfinder Society has sent these representatives to make peace with us. Let them act so that we can judge their true intentions. I vote in favor of the proposal.

As the last vote is cast, Kemchet gets up and says “This is a mistake! I warn you all, we have no need for these outsiders!” He then storms out of the chambers, his attendants following in a flurry of activity.

Cousin to All announces the decision as The last of Kemchet’s attendees is walking out. “The council has decided. We will give them their opportunity to make amends.

This council is adjourned.

The rest of the council members get up and prepare to return to their respective homes.

Memory Tender asks to examine the items.

I assume you will allow her to look at them,

Pointing to the weapon replicas, she says “These tokens symbolize the courage and honor of the heroes that once wielded the actual weapons. Most likely they were together in a place of honor.

She shows great reverence towards the ring. “This ring belonged to Lore Whisperer, one of our legendary oral historians.” Carefully putting it back, she says “It is perhaps best I didn’t know this was one of the items stolen.

Turning to glare at you, she says “Be sure to treat it with reverence and see that it is restored to the proper place.

Looking at the statue, she says “I am not sure of the history of this one. I assume it was a hunting companion to one of our heroes, but out of context it is difficult to say which.

Carefully replacing the items in the bag, she hands it back. “When you return to your leaders, you should tell them the agent who did this should never return to our lands.

Following Cousin to All’s directions, you travel east through a gap in the Iron Peaks to the Muschkal River. You then turn northward along the river, reaching the sepulcher by mid afternoon. The journey is pleasant and you arrive without problem.

The days are much shorter this far north. The sun is already starting to fade behind the mountains.

You see an unassuming opening in the cliffside. There are large chunks of stone haphazardly scattered throughout the grassy area in front of the opening.
