Join us as we explore the newest adventure league mod set in the Forgotten Realm’s frozen north.
Synopsis
Icewind Dale has been subsumed in permanent darkness, and the citizens of Ten-Towns struggle to survive what they’re calling the Everlasting Rime. This curse, leveled by the goddess Auril, brings even greater hardship than usual to the denizens of the frozen lands of the North.
An awakened walrus called Mother Tusk has brought a group of animals to the safety of the Spine of the World, hoping to protect them from being used by an evil druid to wreak further havoc on the civilized areas of Icewind Dale. Mother Tusk fights against civilization, nature, and otherworldly forces to keep her family safe, and she requests the heroes’ help to stem the threats against everyone.
This module is designed as a 4 part series of 1 hr adventures with a prologue. Due to PBP, each one will take us a few weeks depending on posting rates. It is designed for three to seven players and acts as a primer for the new HC adventure, Rime of the Ice Maiden. I’d prefer everyone to be 1st level, but if you have a 2nd level AL character you’re dying to play, that can be accommodated.
Being Adventure League (AL) there are some character creation guidelines that can be found HERE.
If you’re new to 5e or AL, this is a great time to try it out. I look forward to seeing your character submissions. Cheers!

I might try to come up with something new, but as a backup, I have:
Baldrick, PFC, 4th Infantry: Dwarven Fighter*, level 1
(*at least, that's what he thinks - Baldrick's actually a wild-magic sorcerer. He just doesn't realize that he's the cause of all the weird stuff that happens when he's around.)

Will be fun to run alongside you, 'Prax!

Okay, so it looks like:
Dwarf Sorcerer (Soldier) - Jarprax / or alternate idea
Ranger - Trevor86
Bard / Rogue (Arcane Trickster) / Cleric (Arcana / Knowledge) - DreamingWarforged
I have a few options, though I am leaning heavily toward Turq Barreltap. Human Fighter (Brewmaster) that was raised by the dwarves of Kelvin's Cairn. He is intended to be a tank fighter with a heavy weapon. I was intending to take a couple of levels in ranger with Favored Enemy Beasts, because he is learning to be a beekeeper to brew mead in Good Mead, and wants to be the best at it... That will likely not be until about 7th level...

Dang! Never played AL or D&D 5e, but was wanting to try my hand at a Dwarf Cleric :D
Maybe next time - good game guys!
Since we seem to have enough interest to fire off the game, I’m thinking Ill set a dead line of Sunday 10/11 10pm eastern for characters. I will take characters based on the order in which you posted initially (IE first come, first serve.) Anyone without a character submission by then will be pushed to the back of the line. So submit the cleric. See what happens.
If you’re new to character creation, it’s pretty simple. HERE is a step through on how to do it in 5e. Get the basics done and we can help you flush out the minor stuff.
If anyone has any questions, please feel free to ask.

Thank you Greycastle! Any program online which I can use to assist with the character creation?

That is a gorgeous sheet! How do you make it?
Thanks. I made it a while back when I saw the old 5e pre-gens and tried to make my own on Google Docs. Now I just use it as a template, and File -> Make a Copy, then change the relevant info.
Feel free to do the same for yourself and have at it! ^_^ I even include a page for Logsheet info!

I believe if you follow the link in the previous post there is a drop down bar if you’re on mobile or at the top (on pc) go to “my collections”. Then to “my characters.” This will walk you through character generation as well. will also walk you through the process and give you access to some of the free content. You may have to sign in, but the basic stuff doesn’t cost anything.

You can sign in with your Google account or Twitch account. No hassle!

Got it!
Managed to create a character - I am sure he is not optimized or anything (I need to read up more on the Cleric class, I wanted him a little stronger, etc), but above all wanted to check if the link is accessible.
Looks good! I can see him! DM Greycastle should, as well! ^_^ Another dwarf! Love it!
